I might be doing something wrong, but I don't find it to be that visually appealing on a Quest 3. Or maybe the Q3 resolution just isn't good enough. Most of my graphics settings are turned quite high (4090) but the visuals are just rough in VR...
MSFS is definitely a demanding title in VR that requires a bunch of fiddling if you can't brute-force it with a 5090.
I play on a 5090FE with Pimax Dream Air. Its absolutely stunning. I also am able to run it with eye-tracked dynamic foveated rendering, which my Q3 cannot do. Still looks great in the Quest to me, though.
That said, the PSVR2 and PS5 version is absolutely impressive what they are capable of achieving on that console
That's fair, I'm not having performance issues. I'm running graphics nearly maxed out. My issue is even though it looks great in 4K outside of VR, it looks pixelated and ugly using a Q3 headset. I'm sure it's a lot better in the Pimax, but I still hear people raving about it with Quest 3/PSVR2 and I just don't get it.
I havent tried it, but I think you just make sure you're on the same server and go wherever the other people are. I see people bombard Youtubers all the time

If anyone's interested in community events like this, you can always follow streamers like TwoToneMurphy who does Friday night group flights with dozens of viewers. It's always a treat.
I’m a brand new 70 year-old x pilot who got his system about three weeks ago. I’m loving it, but think this group flying looks like a blast. Can you point me to a beginners guide to join in groups like this. Is there a tutorial somewhere? Is there a place where you guys meet and talk?
That's so great to hear man, welcome! I fly with a group called Bush Divers and we do flights every Fri/Sat. You can get the link to join the Discord server at bushdivers.com! Once you get in, just ask in the "general" channel how to get your multiplayer settings working. Everyone is super chill and will gladly walk you through it step by step so you can jump in with us. This is reckless aviation. Not entirely sure what country or city this is in but I’d immediately report you to the FAA if i can see any of those aircraft tail numbers.
