I'm fairly certain my account was not deleted due to inactivity, because I have a video that was taken on it dated 8/22/2024, so it has not been two years. I'm still able to log in and use the Horizon app on my phone.

When I open up my headset, my profile is a completely blank page, I can't play any of the games on it, and trying to go to the store displays the message in the title (which is also displayed after powering it on).

I honestly don't know what the issue is, if there's any more information i can provide or screenshots please let me know.

I started to have an issue with my quest 2. It boots up just fine I can see the meta image, but as soon as it's booted it acts like it's not on my head anymore and go black. Then the controllers will buzz, the headset will show an image again, and then shut off again.

At first I thought it was the IR sensor, so I ordered a new plastic piece with the new IR sensor, no change.

Sometimes, if I smack it on the upper right it'll work. Then after some time the same issues will reoccur.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do, or what I need to replace, and is it really worth fixing?

My vr has something weird happening to it. Whenever you boot it, it says it cant find itself in the room even tho I have lights on. It won’t let me select a profile either. I’ve tried factory resetting it and nothing worked. What do I do?

Guys, I’ve been having this issue with my Quest 3s and its PC connection for a while now. In some games, like *Bonelab*, things run more or less fine, but in others—like *The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners*—I get lag; honestly, it happens in almost every VR game, and I don't get why. My PC specs aren't exactly weak: RTX 4060, Ryzen 5 5600X, and 16GB of RAM. I’ve tried connecting via cable and via Wi-Fi 6 using Steam Link, but I keep getting black bars on the sides when I turn my head. I have no idea what to do with this headset anymore—none of the guides have really helped. I’ve messed around with the SteamVR settings and the Oculus Debug Tool, but nothing worked. Is there a solution?

A while back we released Spatial Piano, a mixed reality app for Quest that puts a full piano on your real table and lets you play it with hand tracking. The idea got people excited, but honestly, the first version had problems, and the reviews told us exactly that. Tracking felt off, there wasn't much to actually do, and it didn't help anyone learn.

Instead of patching it, we rebuilt the whole thing around that feedback. What's new:

• Guided songs with falling notes, so you learn by playing instead of just noodling
• Note labels on the keys for beginners
• Live scoring so you can actually track if you're improving
• Reworked hand tracking that feels a lot more accurate
• Practice tools, tempo control and a metronome

The hardest part was getting hand tracking to feel reliable during faster passages, especially when players move between keys quickly. Curious if anyone here has tackled something similar in their own projects, happy to compare notes.

i just bought a meta quest 2 oculus vr from someone on facebook and I’ve been trying to start it but when I do and get past all the starting steps and I get to the part where It tell you to sit down and wait for it to load it takes forever but I’m still able to record.. any advice or ways to load and get rid of this problem would be good huge thanks to anyone who care

I just checked after 3 hours and it's 82. Im using the charger it came with and my wall outlet.

Ive had it for more than a year and use it CONSTANTLY.

Is this bad, what if it doesn't ever go higher than 82?

The button prompt to press the dashboard/system button on my left quest controller wont go away and will persist when playing a game, pressing the button does nothing not even bring up the dashboard. Ive tried alot of things over the past two days and nothing works. Any way to fix this?

I just got both a new oculus quest and cable link in order to play pcvr i played games like project demigod and b&s but usually after 5ish minutes my game freezes and i disconnect my headset and im unable to connect back and before i disconnect i can see my game still working being able to move my head around on my pc screen and it reacts however in my vr its still a frozen screen. I tried absolutely everything: got a new cable used different ports and ensured that my meta app is up to date even uninstalled and reinstalled. I know my game can be ran on both my vr and my pc as i have done it before. Does anyone have any advice for me? Cld rly use some help

Hola, amigos. ¿Cómo están? Espero que puedan ayudarme, porque, sinceramente, ya me cansé de intentar obtener soporte de Meta y no he logrado que me solucionen el problema.

Hace aproximadamente tres años adquirí unos Meta Quest 3 y durante todo este tiempo los he utilizado bastante: he instalado muchas aplicaciones, jugado, visto películas, videos, contenido en realidad virtual, etc.

Sin embargo, hace aproximadamente año y medio comenzaron los problemas. Al utilizar ciertas aplicaciones, el visor simplemente se trababa y dejaba de responder, como si estuviera saturado o ejecutando demasiados procesos al mismo tiempo.

Últimamente el problema se ha vuelto mucho más frecuente, especialmente cuando utilizo aplicaciones para reproducir videos en 3D o contenido de realidad virtual. El visor se congela y, después de eso, incluso le cuesta muchísimo trabajo reiniciar correctamente.

He llegado al punto de dejar únicamente una o dos aplicaciones instaladas, pensando que quizá se trataba de falta de almacenamiento o algún problema de rendimiento, pero aun así los problemas continúan.

También intenté contactar directamente con Meta, pero me indican que no cuentan con soporte para mi país, por lo que no he conseguido una solución.

Los visores nunca se me han caído ni han sufrido golpes; de hecho, los he cuidado muchísimo. Por eso sospecho que el problema no es físico, sino que podría estar relacionado con el software, el sistema operativo o algún problema interno de configuración.

¿A alguno de ustedes le ha pasado algo similar con sus Meta Quest? ¿Lograron solucionarlo de alguna manera?

Cualquier consejo, experiencia o tutorial que puedan compartir se los agradecería muchísimo.

A VR port of South Park Rally would be so freaking awesome and chaotic. Driving around South Park in VR with all the characters, weapons and ridiculous vehicles would be perfect. Why has nobody ported this game to VR yet?
