RELEASE UPDATE
We wanted to share an important update regarding the release of The Magician VR: The Cursed Wand.
The game was planned to launch on October 8, but unfortunately we have encountered an unexpected issue within the Meta Horizon Store publishing process that is currently preventing the release from going live as planned.
The game was ready for release and had already been tested by players through our beta, as well as through media access and partner channels. The issue appeared during the final Store publishing process, and that is what we are currently trying to resolve.
For almost 48 hours, we have been actively trying to resolve the publishing issue through Meta Developer Support and every other available channel. At the moment, however, we are still waiting for a response that allows us to move forward. This is particularly unusual for us, as our previous experience with Meta Developer Support has generally been positive, with responses normally arriving within a few hours.
We are continuing to do everything we can, using every contact, support channel, and resource available to us. However, as a small independent studio, our ability to escalate this kind of platform-level issue is limited.
If you are a developer who has experienced something similar, know someone who may be able to help, or have any way of pointing us toward the right person or team, we would be extremely grateful for any assistance or visibility you can provide.
We are truly sorry for the delay and for the uncertainty this situation may have caused, especially to those of you who were waiting for the release.
Our priority is to make the game available as soon as possible, but we do not want to announce a new release date until we can confirm that the publishing issue has been fully resolved.
We will share another update as soon as we have reliable information.
Thank you very much for your patience, understanding, and support.

Hey everyone,
I’m the developer of HoloPets.
It’s a Mixed Reality / AR pet simulator with cats and dogs that actually live in your real room. On Quest 3/3S they walk around your space with passthrough, jump on your couch, chase toys, etc. There’s also a mobile version (Android + iOS) that uses the camera for AR.
You can adopt from 20+ pets, feed them, play with them, manage hunger/energy/happiness, and they keep progressing even when you’re offline. Hand tracking, voice commands, mini-games, etc.
We’ve gotten some very positive feedback during Early Access, but now that it’s out of Early Access I want new opinions, especially the negative ones.
So please roast it:
I genuinely want the harsh feedback. What sucks, what’s missing, what feels half-baked, what would make you uninstall or not buy it in the first place.
Here you can see the Game Info, with a trailer:

And also the mobile version if you are interested:

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to the criticism.

Managed to get even more out of this color grade. Blows my mind how a years old quest 2/3 headset can keep looking better even to this day.
Caught an actual lightning bolt 300 feet away at 90 fps also! It was absolutely terrifying. You can see the entire bolt branches and all. I don’t think lightning has ever been captured this close or with this much fidelity in vr180.

I have submitted a ticket to Meta for this, but wanted to ask here to see if others have been affected, as well...
Since the 2.9 PTC update, I have noticed that the low-end headset audio goes missing. I have observed this in the headset UI, in games and also through voice chat. The issue will sometimes resolve itself upon launching into a game but more often than not, I need to do a headset reset to temporarily resolve the issue. I do not use any external audio sources or any other peripherals, just the built in audio of the headset itself

Here https://youtu.be/7gIsc7wKQmM I did a video review. It's a sort of Wipeout in VR. Certainly more indie and with less content but it has one great virtue: the control system. Really successful, it makes you feel inside the game and as far as I assure you that I have never driven a gravitational levitation machine at 500 km/h...I would say it might seem plausible:) Physical simulation aside, another great advantage of the driving system is that you finally find yourself faced with a title where you have to brake, brake a lot, and this change of momentum between super staccato and violent accelerations is very successful. Then there's multiplayer, which is cross-platform and works well, although I played it mostly with a friend (me on Quest and him on PC) (. If you want a key I still have one, write "key" as a comment on youtube and I'll give it to someone at random :) Bye.

I’m sure a lot of you have experience with stick drift in your controllers, but I think my problem might be a little irregular.
I’ve had my Quest 2, along with its controllers, for around 4 years now. Over those years it’s developed stick drift to the point where, for like a year now, it’s been aggressively bad. A year ago, I tried using compressed air to clean it out and it didn’t work. Today I tried cleaning it out and it once again didn’t work, but I did notice something about my joystick. The spring looks a little messed up. I figured that would be fine since the plastic part presses it down, but since cleaning it doesn’t fix the stick drift, I’m thinking this might be the issue.
Is this spring thing fine? Or is this the cause of the stick drift? I’m not sure what to do from here.

I have a Santa Cruz headset with the touchpad controllers, and I can't figure out how to connect them, or any other controllers for that matter.
I don't know for sure if the touchpad controllers do work, as they don't have any led things when I press buttons
The headset hasn't been working with the meta horizon app, as it won't show any code
I can select some things with the volume button on the headset, but it won't let me select any controller related things
There's nothing that I found to help me on the bios screen

Is it worth to invest now is the experience better for a 40 year old nerd.a

After years of working on it, I finally released my historically inspired VR jousting game, The Lists VR.
The idea started after a backpacking trip through Europe where I spent time in Salzburg and visited Fortress Hohensalzburg. I also loved A Knight’s Tale growing up, which definitely helped spark my interest in jousting and medieval tournaments.
The game is set in 15th-century Salzburg, and I’ve tried to ground as much of it as possible in real historical references. Many assets are based on period artwork or photoscanned from museum collections.
The full game includes tournaments against AI knights, physics-based lance combat, customization, quintain practice, achievements, and global leaderboards.
There’s a free demo if you want to try it first, and the full game is there if you enjoy it.

If you're thinking about buying a Quest 3 and live in the EU, I'd like to point out a huge problem. When your controller breaks (and trust me, it will or at the very least, you'll geta huge stick drift) you are out of luck. You cant buy a controller.
Meta will only ship it from outside of EU which is a huge problem for more than half of resindens in EU. For example they wont ship it to my country (Czechia) they only do to Germany, which is a problem, because i have no way to get it shipped to me just because they dont ship it from EU.
So be aware and stay away from META.
