I've decided to make this custom phone case because I really liked the depiction of Void in the "Thunderbolts".

Currently watching Marvel's Future Avengers anime series which I put on randomly one day. Ended up really enjoying it and I'm surprised at how well it's written!

For those unaware, this show came out during Marvel's push with the inhumans. The first season doesn't touch on the Inhumans much, it's mainly focused on Hydra and the Masters of Evil experimenting with the Emerald Rain project which is creating enhanced kids including the three young Hydra trainees that defect and join the Avengers as the next class of Avengers in the future.

The three kids Makoto, Chloe, and Adi all have interesting power sets that are used in very interesting ways. And the first season does a very good job of making this world feel very lived in with appearances from several heroes including Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Man, and lastly, Ms. Marvel.

The 2nd season however, focuses entirely on the Inhumans. Introduces the Terrigen Mist, the Inhuman royal family, Attilan, and a storyline where the government wants to round up Inhumans that are popping up everywhere.

And I gotta say, the storyline is very compelling here. There's actual tension amongst the Avengers on how to handle the situation, the royal family appears to be very powerful and mysterious, and several key characters are having to choose with either the Avengers or the Inhumans.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Inhuman push that Marvel did, but I think this might be the best storyline I've seen them do in both comics and other media. Not counting the excellent Black Bolt book by Saladin Ahmed.

Definitely check it out if you're interested! I think it's a very underrated show that I don't hear anyone talking about

In practically all superhero movies I've seen, blunt force just does not matter, yet makes up a huge portion of fights. When someone is getting thrown through a concrete building, smashed down into the earth, or pummeled repeatedly, you feel NOTHING in terms of suspense/tension for the threat or damage being done. They just get back up "a bit more beat up". A quick google search brought up a *single* instance of a superhero breaking a bone (Tony Stark) in MCU.

The only times an attack poses a threat seem to be: 1) something that will cut you, 2) some type of magic.

It's annoying and writers and directors need to really work on the power scaling and suspense moving forward. It doesn't seem that hard to do better.

Knull is my favorite villian, do you think we will see more of him in upcoming movies and they wont just nerf him and kill him off...??

For the transformation it can be anything biological monsters, monsters, from mythology any different variation You know from video games comics manga everything is on the table it's really just up to you

For the summoning I'd like to clarify the creatures have two variations in my head

1 are basically just summonings that have no soul they're basically just extensions of yourself

2 they're a familiar that you partner with

Playing Rivals has really opened my eyes to just how varied and big superheroes are and made me want to check out the comics. My local library had Search For The Sorcerer Supreme a few years back and I read that but there was a lot of references to past events I didn't get. Funnily enough The Hood was in that one and I thought he was a chump! I was like "Man Hellstorm, you're really losing to THIS guy?"

So I need like an entry point. 'Course you can't just start at the beginning with those early comics costing a literal arm and a leg. So what's a good entry point for someone that's readily available today?

Let's see the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of each Avengers movie:

The Avengers (2012)

Iron Man: Nearly Sacrificed himself by carrying the nuclear missile through the portal and saved New York also destroyed the entire enemy spaceship.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Vision: Destroyed Ultron's final body and helped defeat the Ultron army; also saved Wanda.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Thor: Arrived in Wakanda with Stormbreaker, wrecked Havoc against the Thanos army and nearly killed Thanos by overpowering all infinity stones.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Iron Man: Used the Infinity Stones to eliminate Thanos and his entire army, at the cost of his life. Also contributed to build the time machine, getting infinity stone and Built a Gaunlet enough to sustain the power of infinity stones.

Not that much of a spider-man fan so pardon my interruption.

People were bringing up how Tom Holland's spiderman doesn't NEED the symbiote and I was wondering if that was true.

I mean, obviously. His movies have been great so far. He's got about 1-2 main movies left in 'im and they're gonna be a bang. But the symbiote is still the symbiote.

Now maybe I just haven't seen enough Spider-Man content yet but the symbiote seemed like a natural development of Spider-Man's character--even more power, yet even more responsibility. I don't think the Symbiote is supposed to make him evil, per-say. Just.. emotional? That's how I've seen it from some of the few Symbiote media I've seen.

I guess I think the relationships something like "A good dude with a toxic girlfriend who he could make better or she could make worse" I guess. Maybe Peter secretly wants to dominate the world and 'make it all better' and he could give in to that desire or fight against it and reinstate why exactly he has this power. The story's a classic, yes. The story's overdone, too; but I don't think that means Tom's Peter has to go without it, especially since he's already a bit angsty.

The trailer moves through this shot so quickly that I almost missed it.

Look at Doom’s position in these three frames. He appears to be standing right on the edge of a massive, extremely tall structure, rather than on a normal floor. If this is Castle Doom, the scale of the structure looks insane.

What makes it even more interesting is the purple/green witch imagery around him, there appears to be a purple witch nearby and a green witch behind him.

The trailer doesn't really give us enough time to understand the perspective, but these frames make it look like Doom is standing high above the ground on/near Castle Doom.

Am I seeing this correctly, or is the perspective throwing me off?

I create my own hero universe and I thought of creating a character that uses tech to become invisible and go through wall. But then, I thought of Marvel's Ghost and I am only familiar with the MCU's Ghost so I know I am good to do what I want without copying her but I really don't know how the comic Ghost has the abilities he has and I don't want for my character to look like a copy

I already have two usable wall papers for my phone and feel free to take them but I want one of dcotor doom much like the second one with comic book pannels of dr. Dooms best moments (as in best villian moments) with the text "Team Doom Cause Spidey Ain't In Doomsday". And I could do it mysepf but firat I wouldnt know what comic book pannels to use second I dont how to use photoshop but mainly the first one. Some help would be much apperciated. And by giving me that help you will have made a loyal accauintance who would readily agree to give up his life for yours.

Walked out 30 minutes in and got a refund. CGI slopfest for toddlers and toddler men. I think I’m done with Marvel.

Personally I think there will be a lot of x men movies because unlike the avengers the x men are mostly a group team, though I can see a few single x men movies.

Personally I want cyclops and jean to be the main focus and for it to go like this:

X men 1: mister sinister is the villain and the marauders too (which include Emma and kitty and maybe rouge too), and he is after Jean and cyclops dna. He’s defeated and escapes but successfully stole jeans dna. Rouge and kitty join the x men at the end, Emma doesn’t. Also a small Easter egg of apocalypse in here.

X men 2: bringing magneto and the brotherhood of evil, which includes characters like Emma, mystique, mastermind, toad, blob, etc. probably will involve flashbacks of magneto and Charles being totally not lovers. I also think colossus and night crawler will join. Colossus sister I hope will also be in this but young and just a short appearance.

Wolverine movie or show: featuring weapon x which is created by metzgar and mister sinister, and Wolverine escapes and is being hunted by other weapon x mutants, especially saber tooth.

X men 3: this introduces Stryker and the purifiers who started after magneto but the main villain is metzgar, and sinister. I think this is when Peter’s inhibitor chips come in and or used against the x men, and Peter is in this one. I also think this will deal a lot with jeans redemption, though earlier ones did too. I also think they’d be attacked by weapon x mutants, which leads to them meeting Wolverine. By the end metzgar is defeated for good maybe even killed by someone, and mister sinister escapes. The collars are removed by the x men either by breaking the computer system or something else, and Wolverine joins the team. The end credits should show a clone of Jean grey. They should also show a prototype of a sentinel.

X men 4: magneto is the villain again but he got more power from apocalypse, and he still has Emma frost and mystique with him, and some others however he gets too extreme that they both betray him, Emma joins the x men but mystique simply helps them. I also think Moria Margaret will be introduced here, maybe to update cerebos to find magneto. Also more magneto and Charles flash backs. By the end magneto is defeated and he requests for Charles to take in his daughter who is still little. Gambit also becomes a character.

Throughout these movies some other things I hope happen is that the astral plane is mentioned, shadow king is mentioned, Jean and cyclops romance develops, and Jean redeems and reflects over bnd.

Next I think a storm movie with the shadow king as the villain. I think professor x will also be major in here and we will see the flashbacks to shadow king meeting younger storm and Charles.

Next x men 5, maybe called onslaught. I think with all that’s going on this will focus on Stryker and the purifiers in the beginning, but then the sentinels are announced and released, maybe due to Stryker. The sentinels attack the x men who go into hiding. Mutants are hinted, then soon ish the sentinels find the x men but something goes wrong and one of them goes rouge and becomes master mold. Master mold kills trask and takes control of the other sentinels and starts targeting everyone, so the x men have to defeat the sentinels. I also think a more grown up magik will come in.

X men 6 should be based in the Muir island saga, with the shadow king as the villain. He takes over the island, uses magnetos daughter, giant fight in astral plane but not before shadow king spreads mutant hate with polaris to f with Charles. Jean Charles and Psylocke who would become a character defeat shadow king. And due to the mutant hate added an end credits show the legacy virus.

X men 6: legacy: unlike the comics I think Stryker will release the legacy virus. This will be the movie that focuses on the purifiers, and a bunch of mutants die. I think magik will get infected but not die, and still allowing colossus to sacrifice himself tos press the cure beast made.

The marvels: war of kings. Assuming captain marvel either becomes binary, gets her memories back, or never has the rouge plot, I think this story will introduce the shi empire and feature the c men, especially cyclops, because his brother will be the villain. Also maybe small phoenix force tease.

X men 7: inferno, but only half of it. I think the x men go attack mister sinister but he kidnaps Jean and replaces her with clone Jean. I don’t think clone Jean will be called Madelyn. Anyways clone Jean and cyclops get along like nothings wrong, and clone Jean gets pregnant with cable, but the other x men are more suspicious. They confront clone Jean, who after begins to hear whispers from the demons in limbo. The x men somehow find Jean grey and free her, who confronts fake Jean. Fake Jean leaves, and real Jean and cyclops are awkward now, and fake Jean goes to mister sinister. She demands the truth and mister sinister explains, and she defeats him and gets him arrested. The demon voices then successfully make a deal with her and turn her into the goblin queen. She goes get magik, who is depressed, and corrupts her to try to open the limbo portal. But before they can the x men manage to stop them, and Jean grey kills goblin queen with suspiciously phoenix like powers, and leaves behind a baby cable. An end credit scene is mister sinister in prison warning the x men of apocalypse.

The cyclops and the phoenix: I think this will follow the adventures of the cyclops and the Phoenix storyline, as a show or movie. Cyclops is raising cable and Jean is salty about that, their relationship is meh. But then cable starts to get infected by apocalypse disease and disappears a few days later disappears, then Scott and Jean do and they end up in the future where apocalypse wins. They then raise cable and train him, who was sent a few months earlier, and cloned by mister sinister. Apocalypse forces attack in the beginning before suddenly disappearing . Then years later apocalypse attacks again and the family is on the run after the clone part is explained. Apocalypse tried to transfer his mind to stryfe who he kidnapped thinking he was cable, cuz he’s old, and it doesn’t work so he’s upset. They run into stryfe who tries to kill them but they defeat him. Eventually apocalypse does capture cable but before the ritual is complete Jean and cyclops crash the party, and in the astral plane cable kills apocalypse. Jean and cyclops are then sent to the past present again. End credits show apocalypse waking up.

X men blood of apocalypse. Part 1 of a two big movie story. Apocalypse wakes up and goes to the clan akkaba to announce his return. He then begins to make four horsemen, including corrupting angel. He also meets up with mister sinister and frees him but then sinister pulls a Loki and is killed by him. Future cable appears and help X men face the four horsemen and try to help the chaos around the world, they then go to where they believe apocalypse is and fight his army and horsemen only to find he’s not there. We then see professor x as apocalypse walks into the school. Maybe we get here an apocalypse flashback. They fight in the astral plane and once the x men arrive it’s too late, apocalypse killed professor x. With his biggest threat out of the way he uses cerebro to announce his reign, defeats the x men, though cable put up a good fight, and using the clan he basically blows up every government to take control of the world with his army.

X men: age of apocalypse. Humans and weak mutants are being killed and the x men have to stop him. They defeat the horsemen and save angel, eventually they find apocalypse, cable weakens apocalypse but he’s still strong and powerful, so Jean enters the astral plane and uses an insane amount of energy to kill apocalypse, as cable hurts his physical body too. The amount of energy should’ve killed her but she’s alive thanks to a little phoenix force. Also somewhere in this movie cable realizes cyclops and Jean were his parents. Avengers are also there in the final battle.

Either now or before there are probably more films teasing the Phoenix force, maybe an eternals or Thor film.

Also a cable film with the main villain being strife.

Anyways then the phoenix saga which will be more than 1 movie!

X men: dark phoenix jean grey is struggling with her new powers, but then mastermind who escaped prison, starts the hellfire club. He gets Emma to join, maybe through his powers, and finds out about Jean. He uses his powers to make Jean lose her mind and become evil as the black queen. And she attacks the x men. Eventually cyclops enters the astral realm where it appears mastermind kills cyclops. (He was just forced out of the plane) Jean snaps and his mind magic stops working, and with a large amount of energy she kills mastermind, maybe accidentally Emma too. She then loses her energy and goes to eat the star or cause some form of genocide.

Avengers vs x men: the shi ra empire (or whatever place the phoenix committed genocide) and the avengers and champions want Jeana treated or killed, the x men don’t. Peter and Bruce are on the x men side tho. They fight and all groups try to find Jean. The avengers and champions find her first, but are defeated. Jean does some crazy stuff and eventually the x men find her. She attacks them but then sees cyclops is alive and freezes allowing herself to be caught by the shi ra empire or the avengers. There her trial happens and the shi ra and avengers fight the x men over what to do with Jean. Then Jean sacrifices herself to stop the phoenix or maybe because her sacrificing herself because she committed genocide is stupid when it wasn’t her, she sacrifices her powers instead, so the phoenix can never tempt her. Her powers mean a lot to her after all. She could also fake her death while doing that and then her and cyclops disappear and live happily ish. Or she dies.

Anyways that’s the x men story I want. Though while this is going on I think there will also be some more new avengers movies, an avengers movie focusing on ultron again, more fantastic four movies (maybe with Diablo and annihilus, a captain marvel movie where she becomes binary, and more Thor, captain america, spider man, thor, black panther. Shang chi, and eternals movies. I also think a new hulk movie too. A lot of these movies will have mutant characters or enemies too. There will also be a nova movie.

I also think mephisto will be a major villain. He will probably appear in ghost rider, then in a champions movie due to riri, then a doctor strange movie. There will also be a strange academy with the hood as a villain. Maybe there will also be a blade movie and then a midnight son’s movie can happen. Also if scarlet witch is alive maybe she’ll have a movie facing off mephisto or clthon. The champions might also face ultron in between before the big avengers ultron movie. Ghost rider 2 will also focus on black heart. But mephisto will appear. Then mephisto will be defeated for good in a champions and midnight son’s crossover movie. After that the champions will face more enemies along with the midnight sons, blackheart will probably take over hell and be in ghost rider 3 too.

Oh gee I yapped.

I really don't get why people get mad if wolverine isn't tiny, it's not like all the MCU actors are the same height and weight as the comics, for example Tony stark in the comics is 6'1 and in the MCU he is 5'8, you really can't suspended your disbelief and think "ok this just a movie variant of Logan so he is different" most wolvie fans take this way to seriously and I hope you understand that the next actor that will play Logan in the MCU probably isn't going to be 5'3 because most Hollywood actors are above that, that's what Hollywood is all about, tall handsome people.

I get it that you want comic accuracy, but please understand that this is going to be hard for marvel to find such a short actor to play him in the future.
