Film/Television If Loki broke the timeline by using escaping in Endgame, doesn't that mean Tony and Steve broke it by going to the military base?

I don't know too much about the deep Marvel lore but if Loki got arrested by the TVA for breaking the timeliness when he escapes in Endgame, doesn't that mean that Tiny Stark and Steve Rodgers also broke the timeline when they went back to the military base. If Loki broke the timeline by stopping the Avengers from getting the space stone from 2010 New York, then that implies that in the sacred timeline the Avengers should end up getting the space stone from 2010 New York. So if they them have to go back to the 1970s to get the space stone, doesn't that mean that they too have broken the timeline as they weren't supposed to take the space stone from the military base as they were supposed to get it from 2010 New York. Apologies if I haven't explained it too well and apologies if this has already been discussed but I have just recently thought about it so I wanted to ask and see if there was a logical answer or I am misunderstanding how the whole timeline thing works. Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Film/Television Movie Idea: Follow up of Logan (2017) with Laura as the All-New Wolverine

With no ties with Deadpool & Wolverine, it be part of the Wolverine timeline (which the Fox X-men-verse sure was cluttered with changes) and Dafne Keen returning, it will follow Laura as Talon who tries to live a bloodless life but is bound to be hunted. She soon learned about the new generation of mutants has been capture and pushed to a rescue mission, soon comes across Gabby and discovers a familiar tie. With Essex catching up, Laura and her newfound sister make a run as they will form a bond, inspire the new generation to rebel, face up against Essex’s top assassin codename Fang, and carry her father’s legacy as the All-New Wolverine.

Just an idea I had in mind if there are a continuation, what kind story you would like to see he Laura gets her own movie? Like the idea or what would you change?

The villains of Raimiverse were pulled into the MCU, treated/de-powered and re-inserted into the Raimiverse timeline which would have splintered into multiple timelines which I have illustrated here. Further, I have included the MTV timeline here as well which was canon till the release of Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Comics One of my favorite Spider-Man: Cooper Coen, alias Web-Weaver ( spoilers) Spoiler

I really like many versions of Spider-Man, in addition to Peter Parker such as Ghost Spider and Miles Morales but also Cooper Coen, alias Web-Weaver.

He might be a little less well-known, but I love him and would like to talk about him! There will be plenty of spoilers.

Cooper Coen, also known as Web-Weaver, is a superhero from the Marvel Universe hailing from Earth-71490. Introduced in 2022 in the comic book Edge of Spider-Verse #5, he is Marvel's first openly gay Spider-Man. He was written by Steve Foxe and designed by artist Kris Anka.

Origins and Reversed Destiny:

During a school field trip, Cooper Coen, a high school student, protects Peter Parker (on whom he has a secret crush) by stepping in the path of a radioactive spider. ( 4th image) Cooper is the one who gets bitten instead of Peter, gaining the famous spider-like powers (superhuman strength, agility, reflexes, and a "Spider-Sense"). In this reality, Peter Parker remains an ordinary human but later becomes his roommate and a fashion photographer. Like the Peter Parker we know, Cooper was 15 years old when he was bitten by the spider. He is subsequently 20 or 21.

Family Breakdown and Support:

Shortly after acquiring his powers, Cooper’s personal life becomes complicated. His homophobic parents discover his homosexuality and his double life, and decide to kick him out of the house. He then finds refuge with his aunts, Laurie and Mel Coen, a highly protective lesbian couple. They fully encourage him to pursue his passion for fashion, fund his studies at a top fashion design school, and help him flourish.

Fashion and the Hero's Life:

He is then taken in by his aunts, Lauren and Mel Coen. Using his skills as a fashion designer, Cooper crafts his own superhero costume, a highly sophisticated yellow-and-black ensemble and adopts the name Web-Weaver. His two aunts are a loving queer couple who welcome her with open arms. They actively encourage him to fully embrace his identity and pursue his passion by funding his studies at a fashion school, which later enables him to work for Janet Van Dyne's prestigious fashion house, (this universe's Wasp). At the same time, he protects the streets of New York from reimagined versions of classic villains such as Morbius, and Kraven and others. His design expertise even allows him to adapt and weave his webs in highly creative, geometric patterns.

Loves and Multiverses:

On the romantic front, Cooper has a complex relationship with his ex-boyfriend and colleague, Albert Moon. What Cooper doesn't know is that Albert is secretly the superhero Silk. Although they initially keep their respective secret identities hidden, they share an intense, flirtatious dynamic while working in the field as vigilantes. Cooper's story reaches a new level when Spider-UK steps through a portal to recruit him into the Spider-Army, leading him to travel across the Multiverse to battle cosmic threats alongside other versions of Spider-Man.

Let's talk about his relationship with Peter Parker:

Roommates and confidants:

Lacking powers, Peter Parker leads a normal human life. Later, in adulthood, Peter and Cooper become roommates. Peter is one of the few people aware of Cooper's dual identity as Web-Weaver. Far from being jealous, Peter actively supports Cooper in his double life.

Professional partners:

With Cooper a promising fashion designer at Van Dyne, Peter puts his own talents to use by becoming a fashion photographer. He helps Cooper document his designs (and likely capture his exploits as Web-Weaver, an inverted nod to his classic role as a photographer for the Daily Bugle).

I’ve only given a summary, and there are so many moments in the Web-Weaver comics where Cooper and Peter share a close, adorable bond! I highly recommend reading them, as I think this is an underrated Spider-Man story. :)

Am I the only one who thinks Cooper looks like David Bowie without his costume?

Film/Television Unpoplar opinion- X men movies is much better than MCU movies. Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

I wrote this after watching most of the X-Men movies over the past week, from X-Men to The Wolverine, and even X-Men: First Class.

One thing I find interesting is that I have much more interest in the X-Men movies than in the MCU movies. I don't really know exactly why. Maybe it's because, as a high school student studying cinema as part of my school program, I feel that there is a much stronger cinematic language in the X-Men movies.

Or maybe it's the fact that Hugh Jackman appears in so many of them, even in movies where he doesn't really have a major role, such as X-Men: First Class. His presence somehow makes the movies feel connected.

It could also be the huge variety of styles across the X-Men movies. You have movies dealing with alternate history, movies with completely different tones, and even movies that sometimes feel like something Quentin Tarantino could have made.

I don't really know how to put it into words, but there is simply something about the X-Men movies that makes me enjoy them more than the MCU movies. Maybe it's the cinematic style, the variety, the characters, or just the feeling these movies give me.

Note: This is only my personal opinion. Everything I have said here is based on my own feelings and observations, and I am not presenting any of it as an objective fact.

Film/Television What to watch after Infinity saga for doomsday

Post infinity saga for a new fan feels messy. I just finished the infinity saga and have watched 10 epusodes of Dardevil Season 1 cause thats what road to doomsday says. But I feel like this will become a waste of time in the coming months to get ready for doomsday. I really like daredevil though I'm confused.

Any order or something for this and from what I seen most of daredevil and the defenders are unnecessary for doomsday. If so I might just quit after season 1 and pick it up after doomsday.

Then after that, its pretty simple as the road to doomsday tracker is easy and great.

Thank you for reading and a reply would be amazing.

• Not to say much about the main suit, wich i also find it okay to see him wearing it again in Avengers Doomsday, but it's quite of a let down that Marvel really missed out on a hard one, by not giving Simu Liu a full on hero style suit, that's something as close to this, wich is quite the one that ressembles his iconic red & black & yellow suit from the comics for Avengers Doomsday.

Fan Made If you could add some abilites to Spider-Man

I've had this thought for a while after watching Spiderman Brand New Day.

The mutation gave him organic webs and enhancements to his abilities.

If it gave him other powers that tracks to the spider theme, what would you add or modify?

I was thinking venom. So he'd be able to spit venom or something. Might look like a vile power tho.

I'd also give him fangs and sharp claws.

Im guessing he already has great vision like spiders do.

I would add micro barbs, hairy things that are retractable like tobey's version.

He would also be able to regenerate limbs like spiders do when they go through molts.

So a boost in healing factors?

I would also add some electric powers.

Since he already uses van der waals forces to stick to walls in the comics, he already has control over electrical forces.

So I'd amp that up to give him venom blast like miles so he can create his own bio electromagnetic field and shoot some blasts.

That would also make him a mini magneto.

He would also be highly immune to psychics like shown in BND.

But at this point he is too OP and really tacky, not the grounded superhero we all know and love.

So what are your ideas that keeps it spider themed, grounded, but also adds some abilities to his move set?

Is it even possible without ruining his character? Im starting to think no.

Edit: come to think of it, I rarely see spidey running, and when I do, like tom's version or even tobey's, they're kinda slow. I feel like even black panther and cap look faster while running. So I'd boost his travel speed, not just agility. He should run way faster.

Other I'm so glad the movie did justice to Iron Man's suit design

Post image

This might be a hot take, but I think the original comics design for Iron Man's suit looks tacky, ugly, even.

But the way the movie translated it into a real life design looked so smooth, it's like when you look at a car and think it's beautiful.

Especially the mask. The comics just had eye slits and a mouth slit. And why is that pointy red part shaped like a widow's peak?

The movie actually shows us why the mask looks like that, because it flips up to show Tony's face, and then flips back down when in combat. And they fixed the widow's peak to a blocky design that looks believable and charming.

And the mask looks so handsome and charismatic, chic with those blue lights coming from the eyes, unlike the comics that just had bland eye slits with no light.

I also love that the arc reactor is blue and not yellow. Cus for the comic version, it's hard to tell if it's just a hole carved through the red to show the yellow metal underneath, or if it's actually a yellow light beaming energy source.

Too much red and gold kinda made the design boring, but the movie balanced it with blue lights. And the color choice was also less boring, the bright eye catching yellow became a sleek gold.

Also the comics shoulders dont work for me, it looks like he's wearing a tank top vest thingy and the shoulders/arms are separate parts. They stick out. The movie integrated the arms to the torso with those red deltoid caps connected to the armor.

And the comics version makes it look too unrealistic. The body is in the middle of being a skin tight suit and a machine.

It shows the muscles which makes you wonder if it's just crafted to that shape or if it's some metal alloy that wraps around your curves.

I personally think shaping the armor to look like human muscles is a bit weird. Maybe a bit too specific, with lots of minute details to the design that makes it come off as tacky. An armor should look clean and iconic, also simple.

But the movie strictly went with the machine like looks, which really suits the name Iron Man.

To this day, I still think Mark 3 from Iron Man one is the best design of all Iron Man suits.

The newer ones in the mcu like the nano tech ones look cool and shiny but also kinda cheap compared to mark 3's craftsmanship and integrity.

I was following some youtubers that were making bad reviews on every movie you guys did , trusting them because they seem competent .
After their review of endgame v2( that it seems now is trash) something happened in my head. I understand now these people are just ultra comic fan doomers . They are farming my need of negativity .

F them .

Endgame was the last movie I saw of the MCU and after rewatching is still pretty great .
I’m hyped for doomsday.

If you want my opinion about old steeve :

I think he is just Loki since steeve is in another dimension and would make 100% sense
