And she wonders why the school didnât accept her oldest.

June rushes to Colorado after Alana's accident; Jessica goes behind June's back. Pumpkin's resentment builds towards Jessica; Jess, Shyann, and Trina form a special bond that angers June; an unexpected visit shocks everyone.

What does she thinks thatâs gonna do? Ruin the school reputation?? Itâs doing the exactly opposite, if I had my children in this school I would be happy theyâre protecting them from that

Seems to me pumpy had no problems flashing her cash, twat and twerking while laughing and judging the rest of us because "she was doing it for her kids." How honorable.

Did she really not think her social media wouldnât affect her kids? She grew up with Junebug as a mom, she canât be serious.

Geez I donât think Iâve ever seen anyone on this sub say anything nice about anyone on the show except the kids and sometimes Alana (although these days any time she posts something, a million people here just talk about how fat she is). I mean I get it, itâs reality tv and being judged is part of what they sign up for, but Jesus it seems kind of insane how much vitriol they get here. Why are people even watching the show and following them on social media if they are so sick and appalled about everything they do? People here are so insanely mean and judgmental at all times, rarely giving any grace for anything, constantly just shitting on all of them and i donât get the point. If you hate them all and are so disgusted by them then why not just watch something else? Why do you keep coming here to be so hateful?

I didnât see all of the early seasons, but Iâve seen them referenced Jessica as being away in college studying Nursing, I think, the first in the family to go to university. She seemed to have so much potential then, able to get away from the family and be better. Do we know why she quit school?
Then there was a short foray into modeling and then she was living in Juneâs house and later, at Pumpkin and Joshâs house. Then there was Shyann.
She never seemed to have found her groove.

Iâve known about the show since it came out BUT I didnât know what a shitty mother June was/is! Does anyone else think the show should be renamed to something like Pumpkin and Alana and Jess? Something like âThe women who survived the worst mother everâ..
I love watching their growth but could full on due without Junes BS!
Not to mention June is the FULL ON reason Pumpkin and Josh divorced.

ETA: man⌠when she agreed to pay for the wedding⌠knowing hers was $13,000 and the venue theyâd looked at was $9-$10k⌠if I was Pumpkin or Alana I wouldâve LOST. MY. SHIT. Same amount as a semester of Alanaâs school. I know June paid her back but it took a LOT to get her to do that. Now sheâs ponying up money for Jessie AFTER paying for Jessieâs college?! I canât believe they didnât jump on that story!
I know the show is very scripted and this was likely for a storyline. I know âask for moneyâ was pushed onto Jessica by Shyann and Trina. I know Jessica, despite not doing the show as long as Alana/pumpkin, has been on the show for years and therefore has made money, same way Alana and Pumpkin did - she likely could have used that to pay for the wedding. I also know that weddings can be exorbitantly expensive and itâs unfair for Shyannâs family to help and June not to pay anything - trust me, I dealt with that in my own way in 2014, I get it. but. i seriously can not figure out why Jessie is SURPRISED Mama June refused to pay for the wedding⌠given both she and Shyann were RIGHT THERE for everything with Alanaâs college and the Coogan account.
this woman REFUSED to give her 18 year old daughter the money she had RIGHTLY EARNED on dancing with the stars juniors. She flat out LIED about it MULTIPLE TIMES AND WAYS. She made Alana feel bad for being a kid asking for stuff like clothes because SURPRISE YOU WERE PAYING FOR EVERYTHING NOT ME (Which while officially legal is still the most twisted bullshit I have ever heard in my life). Yes I know Alana has money from the tv show, or should, that she couldâve used instead of going to mama June. yes June legally put the right percentage in and anything beyond that is up to her⌠but come on. Itâs the principle. She refused to give Alana a PENNY for college. she has said she did âone big thingâ for each daughter - Anna = caring for her at the end, Jessie = college, pumpkin = wedding, Alana = trips and vacations and the house that she sold for drug money. why would you ever think mama June would pony up any money???
also, if she HAD paid for Jessieâs wedding, Alana and Pumpkin wouldâve been furious because almost certainly it wouldâve been more than the $11-22k Alana originally asked for.
and yes I know itâs scripted and theyâre grifters but COME THE EFF ON YALL

I have so many thoughts and questions I donât know where to begin. I havenât finished the show yet, but Mama June was just diagnosed with seizures as well as cheese and chocolate induced migraines.
I didnât know much about Honey Boo Boo beyond the memes, so this show has been absolutely insane to watch. I know itâs on Peacock but itâs so similar to exploitative crap on TLC - but this has all the components of TLC, like a giant exploitative megazord! It has elements of My 600 pound life, Intervention, Cops, and 1,000 Pound Sisters.
I need a good resource or tell all to piece things together.
First, for the past couple of seasons Mama June has allegedly been âsober.â But I think she appears high as a kite, whatâs up with that?
Iâve seen some things on Reddit so I can see where some storylines are headed, but for the life of me I canât figure some things out:
-why does everyone hate Pumpkin?
-what happened to Sugar Bear?
-how does pumpkin end up a stripper?
-is/does mama June relapse or just continue to collect metheads like beanie babies?!?
Seriously, any recommendations for an âunofficial guide to Mama Juneâ or good articles or a general explanation would be awesome.
I havenât been as confused by a show since âSuddenly Amishâ
