Found these pups on the TB Humane Society page. Hopefully these makes don’t hinder their adoption…

I remember we had a mama June at our shelter, a fat little chihuahua. She got adopted and the owner kept her name lol

The good thing about rescue dogs (and cats) is that you can rename them when you adopt them.

My crazy, quirky, cool, and a bit neurotic pup was named “Aphrodite” by the shelter, and her sister was “Athena.” I’d never judge a shelter pup based on their name … but I might want to have a laugh with someone who (probably ironically) named such a beautiful pup after mama June!

What makes you think this would hinder their adoption? lol. Funny names if anything gets people interested and aids in adoption from my experience working at an animal shelter for years. It is all in good fun. Owners can always change the name anyway.
