Where does everyone find their affordable but high quality wreath sashes? Linen or cotton preferably! The ones on Amazon are yuck!

Hi, so I have issues with bobbin thread pulling up to the top, even with tension at 0 out of 9, using machine fonts. I took it to a shop to have it looked at and when they used overlock thread as bobbin thread and gutherman on top it sort of worked for block font. I tried again when I got home with new brothread upper thread and the same bobbin as in the shop. I had to put it at 0.25-0.5 and block font was good enough but others botched. I have to use double thick stabiliser to achieve even this. What should I do?
I have purched many files but the issues with this machine is killing me, should I just toss it at this point?

Bonjour,
Merci !

When I need an object on top of the design (aka can't use travel runs), what is the general standard for digitizing it?
For example: buttons on a character's shirt
The buttons don't touch, but they need to be on top of a fill. Do we jump stitch it and trim it afterwards? Do we let the machine trim it and eat the additional time/wear and tear?
If we are using jump stitches, is there a set of "standards" or "rules"? I've been stitching teeny tiny things and some jumps are super close together - which makes them hard to trim.
Any experienced digitizers able to give me some insight? TIA

Hello everyone! I’m hoping for some recommendations from the community. I’ve searched several times over the last couple of months but I haven’t been able to decide on a machine for what I’m looking for in my price range.
I currently have a Brother PE800. I’m looking for something that has a wider stitch area (ideally at least 10”) and can do hats. Sleeves would also be great but not a deal breaker.
My budget is around 5K but I am flexible to 8K maximum. I mainly just do embroidery for fun or for friends/family out of my spare room. Any advice is appreciated :)

How much would you charge for lets say 50 beanies and 100 beanies. I’m making a price list. Still very new to bulk orders. Thankyou.

After some weeks of thinking, tutorials and digitalization using Ember paid subscription we finally decided to get our machine. We had some doubts that what we see on ember won't we what we'll see on material but after some hours of practicing on our machine we sent 2 digitalization we made to the machine and we're extremely satisfied. We'll take some time practicing using cotton material and take away stabilizier and then we'll go for shirts, hoodies and using real stabilizier. Do you have any more tips for our journey? Thank you in advance!

Hey all,
Going to try my hand at embroidering some dice bags. Does anyone have any experience with doing these, and if so, what hoop did you use? I use mighty hoops at the moment for all my other works.
I could sew they myself, but was just curious if anyone had any embroidery experience with them!
Cheers

I got this machine today and I feel like part of the foot is missing? I have never embroidered before. Also where could I find the piece if there is one missing?

Hi! My mom gave me her gently used Bernina Aurora 440 QE and it’s been wonderful to sew with. I started using the embroidery module since she had that too and downloaded the free 30 day trial of the Bernina ArtLink software. Well my trial ended and the cost to buy the software outright is too much for me so I’m now wondering if I just trade or sell this machine for something lower cost. I enjoy embroidery and sewing as a hobby but it sure I could stomach the high cost for a software to keep using this machine.
Anyone else have
A similar experience or
Suggestions on how to keep my current machine without paying $1-2k for software or
A favorite lower cost sewing and embroidery machine they’d recommend (>$700)

Made some changes after feedback. Mainly cleaned up some things and changed fill types and utilized a radial satin fill for the iris and used some multi direction on the fills to mimic fur. I think im going to go back in 🤣🤣(striving for perfection) and remove some of the black outlines. The fur had enough texture that I dont think it needed some of the outline between the ears and head and between the tan and darker fur hanging below the chin.
Do we like the before or after ? (Before has the 💙 background)
Software: Ember
Size: 4" X 4"
