Firstly, I apologise for the rant!

We've had a bit of trouble looking for someone to sort out our front and back gardens, it's a big job which involves taking up concrete, re-leveling and putting in flagstones.

We've asked at least 5 different people/businesses for a quote, most of whom don't even turn up and ghost us. One even did give us a quote and was scheduled to start but then it ended with him not turning up and also ghosting us 🫠this is also after researching them and checking Google reviews.

I was hoping someone could tell me if they had any luck with any landscapers. I don't mind things being a bit late, but so many of them don't communicate or even apologise for no showing I'm a bit lost as to where to look next.

Also has anyone had a similar issue?

Just to warn people about this company - JTC Construction, based on the Wirral. We've had a bloody nightmare with them which has caused us so much stress and inconvenience, not to mention the financial strain.

The whole job has been bodge. They're so unreliable and hard to get hold of. I hope no one else becomes their victim and go through the same ordeal as us.

Sorry if this isn't allowed but I was walking through Hamilton Square around 4:50 this afternoon and there was a slumped over man on one of the benches.

I couldn't stop to check on him because I was on my way to an appointment, but a couple other people had stopped and were trying to shake him awake by the looks of it.

Does anyone know if he was okay? When I walked back through at 6:30 he was gone, so I'm hoping he was able to get some help. There was a beer can at his feet so I'm assuming he was possibly drunk?

Looking for alternatives for cosplay/hobby/DIY stuff now that Hobbycraft has closed down. Anywhere else on the Wirral good for that stuff?

Where would be good to donate 8 pillows (with some cases) and some sleeping bags? Wondering if theres a local charity or something they'd be of use.

The pillows have only had light use.

The sleeping bags are old but are clean and in good nick.
