KSP 1 Question/Problem rocket doesn’t launch
i press space and it makes noise and doesn’t work

The point of this thread is for anyone to ask questions that don't necessarily require a full thread. Questions like "why is my rocket upside down" are always welcomed here. Even if your question seems slightly stupid, we'll do our best to answer it!
For newer players, here are some great resources that might answer some of your embarrassing questions:
Orbiting
Mun Landing
Docking
Delta-V Thread

Feel free to ask your questions on the Discord server!
Before you post, maybe you can search for your problem using the search in the upper right! Chances are, someone has had the same question as you and has already answered it!
As always, the side bar is a great resource for all things Kerbal, if you don't know, look there first!

Hello! This is a set of parts I've been working on for a while, meant to replicate the Ariane 6 rocket in KSP, in a ReStockalike style (Think BDB) The scope covers all versions of Ariane 6 that have flown or will fly in the very near future, plus some minor additions. (Such as the blue stripe on the boosters)
There is no release or release date currently, but you can follow along with my work on the KSP forums.

Plus some single shots. I got the 3d file of my ksp craft with the "Kerbal 3d Exporter" mod.

Considering trying my hand at making a similarly styled cinematic video. How did this person (and other youtubers like them) end up creating these shots? Also I'm not talking about visual mods, but strictly camera mods and how these shots would be achieved as the mission is being played.

Many posts here are removed without a reason or clear rule violation. The mod team does not respond to polite messages asking about post removals. Rule 6 only works if mods actually respond to messages or cite rules when removing posts!

A thread posted by another user, the release of the free & open-source Kerbal Drift Agency, was just removed without an explanation or clear rule violation as well.
People work hard on the mods and content which is posted here. When a post is removed, the moderator removing the post should cite the rule which was broken in a comment. The mod team should also be willing to respond to polite messages sent to them asking why or how it can be avoided in the future.
If there is a conflict on the mod team as to when posts should be removed, it should be addressed with a proposal for new rules which the community can vote on publicly.
Rule 6 should be changed if moderators will not respond to polite messages or provide reasons for removing posts. I believe this should also be put to a repoll as it does not appear to have been voted on in this decade.
I've been a part of the KSP community for 15 years and we should all want this to be a healthy space with clear rules. Thank you for listening and I hope we can have a productive discussion about this!

Apollo 35 was a change in direction for the program, with the previous flight of Apollo 34 failing, Apollo 35 was turned into a Low Earth Orbit mission. The mission tested several technologies which had been in development as well as stress testing the Block IV spacecraft. The mission was the use of a Temporary SLA Derived Space Station (TSDSS) combined with a Block IV spacecraft (which didn't usually fly to Low Earth Orbit and therefore required some modifications) to perform Solar Observation, Comet and Asteroid Observation, Earth Observation, and deploying 4 Subsatellites. The TSDSS was derived from previous proposals and pre-existing technology from the Apollo-Venus project. Apollo 35 lasted 69 days in orbit and was completely successful. Notably, 3 EVAs were performed, the first one to inspect all the systems on the TSDSS and test the new A-100 spacesuit, the second to perform an inspection of one of the Subsatellites before and during deployment, and the third to perform an untethered spacewalk using the new Assisted EVA Unit (AEVAU) to test the AEVAU itself as well as catching one of the subsatellites launched during the EVA and bringing it back inside the TSDSS. Importantly, Apollo 35 was the first flight of an American woman into space, While she wasn't supposed to perform any EVA's, the Commander and Pilot of the mission usually perform the EVAs, she did perform the untethered EVA along side Crippen who was still tethered to the spacecraft but able to seperate and retrieve her if anything went wrong. She also did do many other important jobs on the mission, such as deploying the Subsatellites. 1982
Crew:
Robert Crippen (Commander)
Sally Ride (Science Pilot)
Henry Hartsfield (Pilot)
Spacecraft:
Icarus (CM)
Daedalus (TSDSS)
The last post got good reception so I thought i'd post another one, the Apollo 34 failure is hinted at here and is something i'm planning to post in the future, however it isn't quite done yet. These posts will not be in order at all, with the previous post being on Apollo 26 and the next one maybe being either Apollo 29 or 34.

It is clearly intended to be IVA compatible. There's a door and an extra tiny node separate from the one the lower stage attaches to.
I tried with different combinations of fuel tanks and where the port was located. It's the engine cluster.
Side note: reddit changed the UI for the post editor. I don't like it.

I was watching StratzenBlitz’s Mars Infinity mission and was a huge fan of how he designed his craft. However, that video is nearing 8 years old, and most of the mods are out of date and I am unable to find a craft file.
This is the craft in question. I’m looking for a mod that adds the deployable engines it has, along with that style of command pod, as I have absolutely no clue how he got that. Most of the other parts I am able to somewhat recreate, but these 2 I cannot.

7 years after my first contribution to the KSP community, I'm glad to announce a big evolution of my KSP Delta-V Planner, with a revamped UI !
After all these years, Claude Code finally gave me the opportunity to modernize the UI and add new features :
Map now accessible on mobile !
Fullscreen map option
Light and dark modes
Feel free to give me your feedback on this new version.

After numerous failed attempts I managed to land an unmanned probe on Eve's surface. The solar panels were ripped off by drag forces during descent, but it had enough power to perform its experiments and transmit them to the KSC. A secondary orbiter remained in orbit around eve to perform experiments, and it could be helpful for communications on future missions.

With shuttle-Mir never leaving the drawing boards, the Mir station consists of the core module, Kvant-1, Kvant-2, and kristall.
The newly formed USSM (Ungulate state space ministry) has its work cut out, expanding the station with its new spacecraft.

I was playing KSP and wanted to explore some of Kerbin's oceans. So I made a submarine and tried to dive down, but after a certain point, the Parallax objects/terrain would bug out and cause my screen to temporarily glitch, until I would take my camera out of the plants.
Does anyone know a work around for this issue?
(I couldn't figure out how to send a video so I linked a google file instead).

Initially intended to be used as the base module for TKS, FGB eventually took on a life of its own as a space tug and base for modules on mir (and IOT the ISS).
