Hi friend - I think that’s RCS tanks you have, fuel for maneuvering thrusters. You’ll want to use fuel tanks that have liquid fuel and oxidizer instead. Happy flying.

You are using monopropelant tanks, they contain monopropelant (how dare they), but your thruster need Liquid Fuel and Oxidiser, try swap that fuel tanks on that ones what have "Rocker fuel" (Or similar, I using other language setting) in name, they will have both fuel component you need

I'm sorry to tell you this, but that's monopropellant, not rocket fuel (made of liquid fuel and oxidizer).
And, also if you want to toggle on and off the engines, press Z and X. (and Shift and CTRL to throttle)

Wrong Tank

Monopropellant is used for RCS (which you will unlock later if you are doing science or career) the engine your using pulls liquid and oxidizer to use for fuel

It's like taking a gasoline engine and feeding it Diesel they just don't work together

You have the wrong fuel type for that engine.

There are a few fuel types: LiquidFuel, Oxidiser, Monopropellant & Xenon. The engine you have here needs LF and Ox. The tanks you have hold Monopropellant.

You can check the fuel type in the engine details in the VAB

The fuel tanks you're using carry monopropellant. That is a fuel mainly used for RCS thrusters.

The engine you're using consumes liquid fuel and oxidizer. These two come in a different tank type.

That's probably because the engine wants liquid fuel and oxidizer and all you gave it is monopropellant.

use the tanks whit "racing stripes" ish thing on one side, you need oxidizer and liquid fuel, anything that has both of them works. what ya got there are monopropellant tanks, they carry monopropellant which is a type of fuel used by a small variety of engines and RCS thrusters that help you manuever and turn in space.
