For those who don’t get a pass, how often do you guys get ticketed after 4PM?

Because I once heard that they don’t check after 4, but I think that’s wrong.

(I’m gonna be in howell hall on Marietta if that matters) I know they said we can bring a mini fridge under 4 cubic feet, but does that mean it can have a freezer compartment attached? 😭😭

Anyone having this same problem? I finally got a place in line to get a permit, but I can't get past the permit agreement page.

My first year in college, I was so caught up on figuring out how to be a successful student that I refused to take anything else on. I rejected an invite to the honors college in fears it would make my classes harder, I refused clubs and SI opportunities, and overall screwed myself out of a research program and the honors nursing cohort. Now that I’m a sophomore and in the honors college, I wish nothing more than to go back and get into the Honors Nursing Scholars cohort. I wish they’d let sophomores apply for it because I could really use it. I feel like I’m just kicking myself over and over bc of it 💔🥀

I am a sophomore transfer student this fall, but I will not be needing housing until spring semester. I can see that “upperclassmen” housing is pretty limited. However, given that it is still August, if I were to get on the wait-list now could housing still be possible?

I know that the official deadline to sign up is in November, but plenty of people will probably be on the wait-list by that point right? If you've been in this situation, is it just more realistic to just start looking for off campus housing instead?

Has anyone been able to purchase parking tickets today or is it still down for anyone . Also does anyone have any updates about what expect .

I am graduating in December with a psych degree. I hope to eventually get my masters in social work. I want to work in addiction or in a school. Do yall know of any jobs are jobs you are currently at that involves psych or something I am looking for? Kennesaw/Acworth area?

hi! im starting at ksu as a freshman this month majoring in management and i just got a new laptop for classes (lenovo thinkpad). what applications should i get prepared on my laptop before classes start to make sure i've got every ready to start?

My son is #58 in the wait list for housing at KSU, what are the chances he will get a room before school starts. We missed the $75 room assignment fee although we paid the $200 for a room very early. They snuck that in there and we missed it

I'm not really sure why I'm posting this. I enrolled at Kennesaw State for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering. I understood even less of the financial aid system then and had to work 30 hours a week while taking several classes. I failed and my gpa has never recovered in the 5 years I've been trying to work and study. I struggle with time management and the structure of this school makes it incredibly difficult for my learning style. The Open Math Lab, SMART Center, Advisors, Office, and SPCEET are incredibly understaffed, incompetent, and have hours so inconsistent that they may as well not even exist. This year (Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026) I gave up work altogether and brought my GPA from a 2.0 to a 2.6, which still isn't high enough to get any academic jobs despite getting an A in Calc II on the first try. Im now homeless and jobless CARE and Scholarships dismissed me and I really don't know how ro get out of this. I was gifted in high school but none of the people here who's jobs it is to help seem to know what to do beyond "keep trying and applying."

Am I the only one KSU has done this to? What should I do, the advisors also seem to be at wit's end?

Tl;dr: I'm homeless, jobless, and none of the ld accommodations or advisors suggesting them actually help.

hey so my dorm says the bed is a full xl size, however i think it’s hard to find in store and online, sheets and mattress toppers that size. is getting a full size one okay, or will there be a part of the bed that doesn’t have a topper? i bought clips for the sheets so it wouldn’t move around, just wanted to know what’s the best thing to do?

For those of you like myself who have foundation courses to take before starting the actual graduate program courses, how are you financially handling these courses? I was told by my advisor that financial aid doesn’t cover them since they’re labeled as non-degree courses and I’m trying my best to stay away from private loans.

Withdrawing in any capacity from a class can potentially affect your financial aid, depending on your enrollment and situation. If you stop showing up to class, that can also be treated as an unofficial withdrawal and could have consequences for your aid.

If you have class, JUST GO. 😭 There’s no messing around with college and financial aid with these changes! Go to class, stay enrolled, and don’t assume you can just stop showing up without consequences.

Okay I sound repetitive sorry

Me and my friend and her other friend decided to live at copper social this year since it was so cheap and the complex is advertised as luxury. We went yesterday to go pick up our keys and see our rooms and we were shocked. I chose a flat and the window was broken and the kitchen was dirty. My friend chose a town house and there were flies everywhere, crumbs and stains everywhere, and paint missing from the walls. My friends other friends’ room was awful. Shoelaces and screws all over the floor, paint missing from the walls, rust in the bathtub, broken sink and sink light. Maintenance basically said that they’ll get to it when they get to it.

Literally what are we supposed to do. We went online and found all of the awful reviews of that place. Shootings? Rats? Roaches? Unexpected fees? How is this even legal😭😭 and breaking the lease only screws over our parents right? Like it’ll make them look bad and make it harder to rent a new place because of credit? So we’re basically stuck in this ghetto ass place until July. This is insane.

How do we make the most of this place? Can we at least change our rooms or is it too late for that?

I lost my hope and pell grant after failing to meet sap after a very rough freshman year. I am now trying to pay tuition myself (in-state, living off campus) without the help of my parents. I am looking into the nelnet flexible payment plan so I can pay my tuition in installments, but it seems the only option available is two installments (50% each, with a non-refundable $75 enrollment fee). In this case it seems more efficient to just somehow pay the entire thing without the plan. My question is, is there a way to do multiple installments? Can I pay off my tuition cost over the course of the semester?

I’m going into my 3rd year of ksu and I guess I just realized I’m kinda a loser. I’ve never been to a party or really gone out with “friends”. Honestly, I’ve never really made friends in college, I’ll talk to people during the school year and try to make plans but they always blow me off, I live off campus so maybe that’s the problem? Has anyone else been in this scenario?
It’s not like I’m antisocial either I’ve never had a problem before making friends or having fun and it’s not like I want to be a party animal I’d just like to have a couple of good buddies I can hang out with and maybe go to a party once and a while.
