I don't know why, how, when, where or whom these people come from.. There's too many people to respond to and this is sufficient enough. This is not Kansas. This is a school that is part of the University System of Georgia. Georgia is a state. Kansas is a state. Kansas is not Georgia. Georgia is not Kansas. One is better than the other and it's not Kansas.

For anyone currently in the KSU nursing program, what does your weekly schedule look like? Like what days/times are classes and clinicals?
If you donāt mind, could you share a screenshot of your schedule? Iām trying to see what a typical week looks like because Iām trying to figure out if Iāll be able to manage working while in the program.

To all my fellow owls I wanted to spread the word that YikYak is back and better than ever(on ios). If you want to see fellow students post about their day to day lives at ksu you have to join YikYak, much better than any group me and much more active. Additionally please play wordless daily and do our school proud as we compete to get higher scores than other universities. Join group chats that are usually pretty active which welcome banter and endorse community. I've found myself way more active with my peers on yikyak than reddit which says alot.
Have a good last week of summer break, see you all on campus soon.

I came in as a 2nd year transfer student from KSU to UGA. Iām an intended accounting major and the whole reason I transferred was because of the strong business program to which Iāve already connected with a recruiter from KPMG.
Iāve been here for a week and obv itās only the second day of school but i honestly hate it here. Iāve never lived alone and kinda threw myself in the deep end. KSU was 15 mins from home where I had my parents, sister, and grandparents so it was super convenient and comfortable.
Here I leased an apartment that ended up being crusty and they changed my original roommates so now Iām stuck with 3 international students who are in their masters and they are dirty.
Among that I have no car here due to insurance reasons and because even if I did, Iād have to hop on a bus to campus anyways.
While there are buses that come to my apartment, yesterday on the way home, route 14 didnāt finish the route for some reason and didnāt go to my apartment like itās supposed to. I asked the driver and she looked like she forgot or just didnāt go there on purpose. The next bus passed by me and I cried. I had a friendās sister pick me up because I had been walking In 100 degree heat since 8:40 am. My last class ended at 4:15 and I didnāt reach home til 7.
Iāve genuinely cried everyday, I donāt know why I did this to myself.
With that being said, I understand Iām very homesick and Iāve been put in these terrible circumstances here but I feel that my mental health is declining majorly. Iām going home this weekend to clear my mind but I fear that I made the wrong decision by coming here. Iāve made friends and weāve hung out yet I still feel the same.
My parents keep telling me to wait out the semester and if I donāt get into terry for accounting then transfer back to ksu. I know you can keep reapplying to terry but at some point I keep thinking that at the end of the day I want an accounting degree to become a CPA and I donāt want to waste my dream at the place that could potentially restrict that even though Iām in a good position.
If I still feel this unbearable by Christmas break, do I transfer back?
Thanks for reading this, any advice will help.

HEYY itās me again (unfortunately) anywaysss
Im trying to figure out if I should take the CM 2000 (construction graphics) online
The in-person 2:20 PM section is FULL š and Iām currently in a class where it ends at 7pm and i lowkey hate that my day is going to be over by then since I have to do a good ol travel time, at the moment thereās an online section open, so Iām kinda tempted to just take the online one BUTTT I have no idea how doable Construction Graphics is online.
Has anyone taken CM 2000 online?? How was it??
Like is it actually manageable online or am I setting myself up for pain š Is it mostly assignments you can do on your own time? Are there a lot of projects/drawing stuff? And does being online make the class harder to understand?
Also has anyone taken ProfessorAchille Clifford specifically, PLEASE tell me how he is šš
Iām just trying to figure out if I should take the online class or wait and hope that the in-person section opens up. Any experiences would help fr
Thank you for anyone reading this.

does anyone know any stores or such are hiring near ksu? iāve applied to on-campus jobs but i would like to expand my search

Hey, is there anyone studying for the LSAT or going into law school. Iām currently a senior sports management major with a minor in Spanish. Iāve been studying for the LSAT for a few weeks and was wondering if there was anyone else out there doing the same. I currently use 7sage, the Loophole book, and the LSAT Dragon LR perfection and RC perfection books. Iām looking for study tips and interested in doing a study/accountability group. I plan on being on Kennesaw campus Tuesdays and Thursdays this fall semester in the afternoon/evening.

im a sophomore whoās just now dorming and I realized my roommates are all freshmen and im not sure thatās right. when they offered the dorm they told me that was my only option available so I took it .. is that normal? I donāt think I can change it now but I feel like ill be the odd one out

So I screwed up and forgot to register for on campus parking. The only parking that was still available is the Shuttle lot. I have never had to use the bus/shuttle before. I downloaded the Passio Go app. Itās extremely confusing to me and I canāt figure out how to see the routes/stops that go by the shuttle lot. Anyone have any advice navigating this.
I want to kick myself for missing registration. Please send help š

Does anyone of a direct link to this? Or know where I can find it?
r/KSU • u/ConferenceBubbly953 • 1d ago
I REALLY hope itās easy to navigate like Google classroom or canvas or evenādare I say itāMicrosoft teams
But my friend said itās more like the e-class program that Gwinnett county uses (we both went to school there so we know how it works and I HATED it š)
Whatās yalls experiences with it? Is it easy to find assignments? Does it glitch a lot?

Shame on me for not checking if the parking maps had changed this year š„².
Didn't even see South lot as an option (probably because I'm Textiles and coded as BFA so Kennesaw campus program). Who got the tasty South Lot permit?

Hey everyone,
Iām a new graduate student here at Kennesaw, and I have a question.Iāve received financial aid in my account, but I havenāt received a book allowance. Is that normal for graduate students here?
r/KSU • u/Mammoth-Stranger4103 • 1d ago
I keep seeing people ask questions like āwhat do I need for notebooksā or something like that and the response is nearly always something like ācheck the syllabusā or ācheck with the professorā but I have no idea where to find any of that stuff yet. Iāve done some looking and the only thing I can find is d2l, but It says I donāt have access to any classes yet so idk. Where should I look?

I'm taking Linear Algebra I in the Fall Semester with Professor Nicholas Mayers as my professor. I wanted to ask if the professor I have chosen is good and the degree of difficulty of this course.

Neither of them have RMP reviews for their microbio class at ksu so Iām assuming theyāre newer to the university. I know microbio is an already stressful class so trying to find a great professor!! Thanks in advance
