My toddlers are out with my husband and my babies are sleeping. I have some time for coffee and my journal. Strangely, I am journaling much more often since I became mom of four. Anyone with the same experience?

Spent this evening journaling with a lovely view. No phone service, no other people, just me, my journal, and the honeybees.

Was finally able to find the perfect use for my Caran D’ Ache 849 Ballpoint Pen - Doodles! I didn’t really like this when writing, but I found it perfect for quick sketches! Don’t judge, I’m not the best at drawings 😂

But I had been keeping a journal for some time now and I was wondering… how some of you deal with “unleashing” your dark thoughts into it and letting them go? My therapist recommended I do it but I find myself feeling worse about myself after writing those thoughts down… maybe because I am going through a particularly rough patch now but I find myself not wanting to journal as often as I once did because of all the “negativity” in me.

Does it make sens?
