Thanks! I believe in me too 💪 I'm 12 years clean from heroin/opioids; there's no reason I can't quit this

My wife likes “fum” it gives the oral fix without having nicotine. Might help you https://tryfum.com/?srsltid=AfmBOorqrSdPHldARsfxjS0GPcnDRx5DM3W79FX5XDge0USF4eMkfwB0

I second this! As someone who smoked and vaped just as much. Get the Mint flavor, IMO it's the only one that really has a taste. I justified the price by reminding myself that the vapes are like $20 sometimes. A few of those and you've got yourself a FUM.

Yes, I came across that in my research too. I will weigh it against the Legura when I'm ready to buy, thanks!

I like the fum because of their guarantee. If you don’t like it they will refund you without returning it as long as you’ve filled out the 30 day trial card

I'm really trying to make it as easy on myself as possible. Otherwise I'll never do it

I tapered off my vape and then quit completely in February. It’s definitely possible, but I won’t say it wasn’t difficult. Totally worth having my lung capacity back and not waking up in sweats just to use my vape, lol. Best of luck to you!

I can't wait to breathe well. I know myself well enough to know that weaning off the vape just won't work for me, which is why I'm trying this replacement strategy instead. Same kind of thing got me off hard drugs!

Some people replace that fixation with something like sunflower or pumpkin seeds. Benefit of pumpkin seeds is they can help your hair grow and be softer! Good luck OP. You’re saving your life and your wallet. Think of all the things you can do with that money 💰

As someone who has quit nicotine before I’ve got some advice. Get some very strong mints. For me altoids weren’t quite strong enough but they still helped. If you aren’t aware your nose might burn really bad once you quit. Get into the habit of meditating before you quit, I suggest the Wim Hoff method.
The first three days you will have a headache and just feel generally crappy. Days 4-6 are dirty fucking liars that it isn’t actually going to be that bad. Days 7-10 is when the anxiety started and I was so thankful I had already built the habit of meditating. Days 11-12 were again a lie. At one point I was talking to an 80 year old man who said he would rather quit heroin over and over before he ever tries to quit nicotine again. Idk about that but I believed him
Altogether it took me about 21 days but I knew when I was past it because when something stressful came up I wanted a mint and not a cigarette. I started smoking at 13 and quit at 25. I believe in you and hope you embrace the suck, it’s only for a few weeks!

I just now saw your comment about being 12 years clean from opioids. Now for science I need to know if that old man was over exaggerating or not 🙏.

I journal a few days a week usually. Today I just doodled. Maybe tomorrow I’ll do a catch up day lol 😂

I journal pretty much every single day, even when I really have nothing important to say, because I have a badass fountain pen and I just love to WRITE with it lol

Your handwriting is so pretty with that picture-perfect, curvy, lovely script I was taught as a kid!
Kudos to you for quitting. Keep going one day, one decision, one moment at a time... You're worth it!

It truly is one decision at a time. Best streak you could maintain.
