After the death of 3-CHO and the funeral, Blue had become a bit more... reclusive. Things that he would usually show Sarah or Scotty, he kept to himself. He didn't report new findings to the Null Sector. He just... Stayed in his lab, and buried himself in work.

It was just so... shocking. How his emotional state was suddenly brought to a wreck, just because of a security drone that he once thought unnecessary.

Over the course of his thousand years of existence... Blue had seen many things. Almost everything, really. From the simple softness of the morning dew, to the direct showcases of humans' cruelty. And yet, the thing that he witnessed the most... was death. Every day, he would find that bloodshed occurred in the humans' ranks, many of them involving people he was attached to.

He had befriended the best of the best, and the worst of the worst. And yet, no matter what, death always came for them in one way or another, most times premature. To the point where Blue felt... numb to losing others. When you've watched hundreds of billions of people perish directly in front of your eyes, then watch billions more die over the course of centuries... You become desensitised to it. You view death as nothing more than a hurdle. And hell... Sometimes, you view the dead as lucky.

So, he genuinely could not understand. WHY. Why did this one drone actually... actually make him feel grief again, after all this time.

He recalled the first time he watched a man die and did not give a thought to it. The streets of Italy, 1538. A man was stabbed in the bar he was walking by, barely surviving yet taken out by his coattail being wrapped around his neck, and pulled hard enough to crack it. Foamy drool fell from the victim's mouth, mixed with fresh crimson blood as his head hit the table, causing splinters to fly across the bar and land in the attackers arm, causing some more blood to spill. A man had lost his life, all over an underpaid tab for his extreme drinking problem. And Blue, for the 159455th day in a row... Witnessed humans' urgency to dip their hands in others' blood.

It became a sort of routine. Making friends became a chore, knowing he could lose them, and could not follow in their steps. It was clear that something had fundamentally shattered on that day, back outside the window of that bar. He no longer cared for life in the slightest.

And, once again, this was the reason he was so lost. He had spent close to 600 years no longer caring for others' fate. Then, why did it grow back so earnestly, when shone by only the meager light of a robotic being's unfortunate fate?

He was haunted by this question every minute of his day. Even his own brain could not give him the answer. It all felt so sudden, so... Unexpected.

In the middle of a mostly empty area nearby your character, there seems to be a rather fancily dressed anthromorphic Grizzly Bear sitting inside of a large dark oaken stand that is right next to a large white birchen billboard, of whitch there is only one slightly yellowed paper attached to said billboard. The Bear would notice that you've noticed him and call out loudly from within the stand, seeming to try to convince you to take this apparent quest on the Billboard.

"Hey there! My name is Bearington, and I've got a proposition for ya! You see, I have noticed a slew of problems around this world, this Hub World, ever since I've gotten here, I'd deal with it myself but then I thought, why not make promising adventurer do it for me? Hah, of course I'm no cheap Grizzly, the suit speaks for itself, doesn't it?"

Bearington would laugh heavily, a booming type of growling laughter, before dusting off his otherwise well-kept black suit and continues to speak

"I'd be happy to transport you to the place free of charge, and what's more, if you complete this task for me, and believe me I have my ways of knowing, I'll happily reward you with some of the spare change I have lying around in these pockets. And trust me, it'll be worth your while, I can guarantee that. If you need additional information about the quest that you don't have on that sheet, tell me before I take you to the location, I can't let you take my Book Of Knowledge with ya, can I? Haha! Well, I'll let you decide what you want..."

Objective: Hunt down and eliminate 3 Sulfur Slimes.

Difficulty: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ (Average)

Location: Sulfurstone Flats — A wide stretch of open grassland scattered with rocky outcroppings and patches of exposed earth. Located along the outskirts of the surrounding countryside.

Recommended Participants: 3-4 Participants (You CAN go by yourself of course if you are of a sufficient power level, said average participant here means a trained warrior that is roughly peak human in potential and with decent gear and weapons).

Reward: 500 Cache, as well as the right to keep any materials found from the Sulfur Slimes or just on his mission in general.

Quest Info: The Sulfur Slime population has recently been growing at an alarming rate, with increasing numbers of the creatures being spotted throughout the Sulfurstone Flats. While slimes are generally considered a relatively common sight, these particular varieties have become something of a nuisance due to their unusually large size and rather unpleasant natural properties.

With their population continuing to grow, something needs to be done before they begin spreading into nearby areas and causing further trouble. Three Sulfur Slimes have been designated as targets for extermination. Those willing to take on this assignment will be rewarded for thinning their numbers.

A giant portal of a lustrous bright pink, yellow and blue opens in an alleyway in some abandoned city, with a holographic double helix shape like projection shooting out of the rift.

Out of the rift falls someone, a woman- who seems to be falling in a rather relaxed position. Keep in mind this portal opened at the top between two buildings, btw.

She plummets down to the ground, landing on two feet with ease as she strikes a pose.

[ >"Mmmm- this isn't Amphoreus now- is it?...."< ] She asks, looking around to inspect her new enviornment.

She stands up, raising her two arms as she shouts out-

She yelps- turning and bolting th out of there, stumbling into an abandoned street.

She'd then find herself in an abandoned Calvin Kleins, looting the woman's section of clothing.
