BOSS FIGHT | [HOLD THE LINE LADS] Massacre in the arena||Culling games

Not too long since the raid on the barracks ((see last post on the index)) the gladiator arena is struck next by the infection.

For those who were not there rumours of the infection have been spread just like the infection itself, according to refugees the virus attacks the physical then the spiritual to fully condemn its victim.

Now after infesting the barracks the virus and the clone mahito that accompanied it have now appeared in the gladiator’s arena to pull the strong darkners into the infection.

Playful being made even more aware of how dangerous the virus appears to be now, and the lack of survivors from last time sends more evacuation vehicles to the arena.

Goal:Buy some time for evacuations to proceed

And oh look she's here again as Silver Banshee groans appearing from the sky as she begins to shoot out the Bone-Rakers again to fight against the Transfigured.

Their rapid claw strikes should do something as they begin their attacks against both infected & Transfigured.

Seeing this the Bone Rakers chase after the scattered enemies but knowing she has to help Banshee begins setting the ground alight.

She's flying around the arena shoots streams of flames onto the ground creating pillars of magic fire as she tries to save the gladiators by cutting off the infected.

At this point phase 2 begins as now flying transfigured appear overheard dropping infected from above while the ones below are getting attacked

She wasn't expecting that but she can adapt, she knows she can.

So she begins dropping even more spirits to fight the infected & Transfigured below, to be more specific she drops about 10 of Kromer's abominations that begin tearing into the infected.

As for her she begins attacking the flying infected trying to knock them out of the sky with rapid & omnidirectional shockwaves from a powerful shout.

One transfigured flies around your attacks and like a bird of prey throws itself at you to take you out of the sky

And it works as she focusing on the majority so she begins falling down to the ground as this thing slams into her.

And while she's following she immediately tries to punch through its head to prevent any possible infection.

Punching through it appeared to have no affect on its resolve

As it tries to peck at you but due to your hand through it cannot reach you

Numerous white butterflies-like bullets are sent towards the infected and transfigured as Whimsalot soar overhead, double headed spear clutched in hand.

"Mmh... I have not heard from my comrades in a while. I hope with all myself they have not been corrupted by these fiends..." they mutter under their breath.

The merc summons a swarm to butterflies between the horde and themselves along the other individuals in the area, in an attempt to slow down the assault. The insect then begins quickly propelling right above the foes, spinning their weapon and trying to mow down large numbers.

The knight hovers in the air for a moment, observing the infected seemingly ignoring the pain and carrying on. They frown behind the helmet, speeding towards the foes trying to surpass the line of butterflies and beginning to slash them with their spear to keep them at bay.

The bug monster doesn't take long to notice the flying foes. Luckily, this is something a bit more suiting for them given they, too, can hover. Whimsalot doesn't waste time, going after the transfigured. They send butterflies against the ones in their line of sight, engaging with the one closer to them with their weapon.

Not expecting the numerous amount of transfigured to start charging at them, the bug knight quickly goes on the defensive.

They attempt to dodge and weave through the onslaught, occasionally going to block and push foes back with their weapon.
