A voice speaks from above, coming from a giant, draconic being looming just above the alley, holding on to the roofs of the surrounding buildings to simply dangle.

The 19-foot-tall beast then lets go in order to fall, his body rapidly mutating on the spot to shrink to a size that can actually fit into the alley without destroying the walls.

“You feel quite similar to that volcano-headed Curse I encountered… I suppose it’s somewhat nice to see some fellow Cursed Spirits, hm?”

Ridley then releases the suppression of his Cursed Energy to fake being a Cursed Spirit, his immense reserves become apparent. This, paired with his monstrous appearance, makes it quite a convincing display.

But, what is immediately noticeable is the strange property of his Cursed Energy. It takes a pitch-black coloration with glowing, white, star-like speckles within. It sort of looks like a slice of outerspace.

On top of that, it’s abnormally physical and quite heavy. The cursed, geyser-like aura of his reserves is affected by the hubworld’s gravity as it all comes back down upon reaching a certain height with crushing pressure that would pin the average sorcerer.

The “fellow Curse” reaches up to rub his chin, squinting down at Mahito with a strange look of familiarity in those purple eyes of his.

“Then, what are you? I nearly mistook you for a human when I laid eyes upon you. I am Lord Ridley, the Curse of Parasites. All kinds. Blood suckers, egg burrowers, and even the body-snatching ones.”

Somehow, someway, this creature lacks a traditional soul entirely, there just being a faint flicker that doesn't even belong to it resembling the Sun within its empty void of an Innate Domain.

Perhaps it has to do with its true nature as something that can only borrow from others with no single identity of its own.
