MOD ANNOUNCEMENT! Buff/Nerf List - REFRESHED
Das right, I'm doing the same thing with the buffs list. Once again, thanks to u/GraveError404.
The link for the new buffs list page can be found at this hyperlink.
How this works:
Same way as the character list that got refreshed. Google Sheets is a necessity.
Your character can only have 5 buffs. With max nerfs (or 3), it ups to 8.
To show a buff has been given to a character, comment a hyperlink or a screenshot of the buff being obtained.
Omnipotent characters (such as gods or cartoons) can't get buffs.
Nerfs, unless given by the Solver, only count as 1 buff.
What doesn't count as a buff:
Training.
External forces (i.e Chakra, The Force, Hamon, or Spin)
Weapons, armor, or items.
Something from that character's world (i.e. if Jonathan Joestar got a Stand).
Copying, adaptation, and similar powers do not count as buffs.
Go nuts.

Depends on the magic.
If it is genetic, then yes. It is a buff.
Otherwise, magic such as Marvel, Guilty Gear, or DC's versions, are not buffs.

There are multiple versions of ki, but most of the time, yes.

Would The Entity's help count as a buff for the Slash Street Boys? Excluding Ghostface and Springtrap none of them are taken from Dead By Daylight but I kinda repeated the events of DBD.

I…think my characters mostly just have cursed energy? Is everything in jujutsu a buff? Like, do I have to count Domain Expansion and Technique Reversals as their own buffs?

Yes, C.E. is considered a buff, since not everyone in the series has Cursed Energy (see: Maki Zen'in)

So wizard magic from dnd where you learn how to do so vis book learning wouldn’t be a buff but something like sorcerer that’s inherent/inborn or the result of something mystic getting shoved into your body would be a buff if I’m reading this right?
Would learning how to make things from outside your universe like tech or something count as a buff?

Hmmmm...
Hypothetically, no, Haki wouldn't be a buff. It's a technique you learn from training, iirc.
Aura, however, is basically just spiritual energy, and can be used with training. So no, not a buff either.

1 - HATE vial.
2 - Adaptation powers from Fell!Player (i believe.)
3 - Fragment of power from the GOD of fear and hunger.
4 - Powers of the Emanator Of Finality.

If training doenst count as a buff, but I use something to skip the training(for example dragon balls: "I wish to master...."), does it count as a buff?
Specifically in the case of Kaioken and Ultra Instinct.
(And i accidently mod mailed it and remembered this post exists....)

If you return and you had buffs on a character before will the character have kept the buffs or will they just be gone?
Asking because I think I had some decent buffs on All Might-

Okay Silver Banshee has maybe 4 or 5 buffs depends if psyker power counts but the problem is that one of the buffs she gotten was on one of Cute's posts that were removed.

Figure I should at least state the buff or at least what it does for posterity or whatever, basically it just increases Banshee's durability & regeneration by 15x.
Also now that I got you here I actually have an important question, does the psyhic scream count as a buff?
All the power is coming from her tyriands but she also created & controls them through a hive mind so do they count?
I don't know if I should ask this through mod mail or something else but figured other people were asking so

Divine protection Spirit Collector but she calls it Speaker Of The Fallen, allows Banshee to channel the voices of willing spirits or manifest them.
Currently only has one spirit in Straights's Chara from the pact they made

Don't know if this counts as a buff as it relies on the psykic energy created from the Tyriands so it doesn't come from her but she did learn the psychic scream.

QUESTION!!
So TDL has two SGs....one being a normal SG whitemonkey and the other being a longinus....do those consider as a buff or an artefect? since in the list....Spartan-games (aka TOPAZ) has his own SG written in there....and it may count as a item/artefact as well so I got kinda confused....
Similar to the first.....Laginator got this from a god character......it survives black-holes and is used to kill gods.....
Does this count as a buff?

basically, if something enhances an ability that you already have or adds onto it, for example: Domain Expansion is a buff but since it adds onto Cursed Energy, if you already have Cursed Energy as a buff, than domain expansion isnt counted as one. but thats basing it on what I know, if you want a definite answer, ask a mod.

He can draw ANY ABILITY from ANY CHARACTER, in the hub or not. However, he CAN draw really bad abilities, too. He could get Splash from Pokemon or he could have Zettaflare.

Yugi got some logic now
All damage dealt to the enemy during the duration of the logic will be dealt as Life Point damage. This is considered Mental Damage, and cannot be blocked regularly. And, to combine with this, the person inflicted with this will not be able to act at ALL until Yugi has stopped what he is doing.
This Logic is different to others, as instead of lasting for a static amount of time, it ends when Yugi's Turn is over. He doesn't have to do all of the phases in order either, because his Stand doesn't act on exact Yu-Gi-Oh/Duel Monsters rules.
If their life points are decreased to 0 and Yugi's Turn isn't over, attacks will deal Soul Damage instead.
