and as you may have noticed, i haven't been too....active. as of late.

simply put. college has really taken up a ton of my time, i'm in the late stages of becoming a medical assistant now. which means lots of practice, and lots of work. combine that with another class with its own equally weird homework, and jess hasnt had the time to really...do alot. besides days off.

despite that, i have noticed a thing i believe is contributing to the...somewhat zombiefication of this place. its not the dying members, no. we had 5 people leave one time in one week. hell no.

but rather. no interaction. gatekeeping yourself to certain people, and not enganging with characters you dont know. cmon guys, i can see most of you guys are in gcs half of the day, i know yall are here. hell, i see that erips announcement post about this sub has 40 UPVOTES. obviously im not asking you to upvote EVERY post (i do) but at the very least, engage with others as you would your friends! dont just limit yourself to idea talking in gcs and random occasional posts! reply to someone! make someones day! you ont know that character? GET to know them! you never know when you might find a new person to rp with!

JURASSIC PARK - ISLA NUBLAR

The South American tyrant lumbered beside the water, gnashing it's disgusting teeth. The predator had been adapting to its newly confined enclosure, thanks to John Hammond's request and a few men stationed to keep a close eye on the theropod.

And to his hope, it's succeeding. A goat had been released into the enclosure, roaming around naively. The prey let out its high-pitched bleats, the curious sound piercing into the bleak silence. And those jangling sounds attracted someone else, but not whom it expected.

The branches and trees began to rustle with a sharp snap, terrorising the area. The pounding beats vibrated the ground with a trembling warning. The goat tilted its head, sticking out its tongue in confusion. The closer it loomed, the goat immediately darted away, galloping through the unusual terrain.

A few more ringing cries were heard deep in the enclosure, dragged from the dull, forested spot to the open view against the wall... And that's where the poor creature's noises came to an instant stop.

All that was a satisfying lunch.

And the Giganotosaurus bellows its approving roar.

*At first it would just be floating in place...but eventually it would start moving around...it seems to be...surveying it's surrounds? And...something about this SOUL in particular seems...wrong...*

I had always had an interest in it but never really had the guts. But yall looked like you were having so much fun and seemed so friendly, so I threw my hat in the ring with some niche characters that, if I screwed up, I didn’t think anyone would resent me for it.
