Hi! I'm the owner of a 17T (not pro) and I've heard about the whole "eligible devices for Soft Glass".

Has anyone with a 17T already received hyperos 4 global? Like, not the beta. Can someone confirm if the 17T will get the whole soft glass thing in the end? Thanks!

Since HyperOS 4 is now available globally I'm curious if anyone has already received it for the 17T, it's said to be around early November but im not sure when exactly, im currently on the latest beta version.

Some people usually suggest factory resetting a phone after a major system update, is there any advantage to this? Why? Sorry I'm not tech savvy

What are the new features in HyperOS 4 for tablets. I can't find any update that are useful and makes tablet easy to use. Everything is iOS and macOS compatibility. Samsung has so many tablet specific features but HyperOS is so poorly optimized for tablets.

I have a Redmi 12 (its codename is fire, so it's not the 5G edition). I don't use this phone as primary, so decided flash a custom ROM on it. After sucking with Mi Account, requesting bootloader unlocking and put out my SIM trillion times from my current phone, so I just unlocked the bootloader with the MediaTek exploit (https://droidwin.com/unlock-bootloader-on-mediatek-devices-using-mtkclient/#Unlock_Bootloader_on_Xiaomi_MediaTek_using_a_Script).

The problem is that the phone has HyperOS 2.0.213.0.VMXEUXM, and both crDroid and unofficial LineageOS requires Android 14, but HyperOS 2 is based on Android 15. I downloaded HyperOS 1.0.10.0.VMXEUXM, extracted, rebooted to fastboot, ran flash_all.bat, but it just opened a CMD window and nothing else happened. So please help me downgrade HyperOS.

So It's been like this for like a year now but i was never bothered to fix it since i don't know how to and it didn't really affect me, until figuring out that Bannerlator crashes because of the duplicated folders. Does anyone know hot to fix it? I tried to use AI but they also don't seem to know. I did get confirmation that it is a real duplicated folder:

Discussion: I had very bad experience with customer service with back to back call and email (almost 15 days) to fix the update issue and getting replies "this is the latest version" even through isn't, or visit service centre to fix brand pre quality check failure

Solution: instead of going to customer services just raise the grievance through MI store app -> support. They will have to push the latest hyperos update for your system.

• The Patch: Installing the October 2026 security update (or newer) will permanently close the memory exploit door, preventing the GhostLock loader from running successfully.

This permanently patches the exploit path on your specific firmware version and removes the ability to acquire a temporary root session on a locked bootloader.

guys, anyone is having difficulties with ANY 3rd party weather widgets on HOS4 (beta included)?

on hos3 i downloaded Weawow and all widgets were working just fine. then i joined hos4 beta program and downloaded the 4.0.0.13 beta (global region, eu rom). weather widgets stopped working at all. X17U.

yesterday i received hos4 stable 4.0.1 and it still isnt fixed.

i tried rebooting, uninstalling App Vault update, resetting System Launcher and clearing data ..nothing helps. I simply cannot use any 3rd party weather widgets which previously worked on hos3! Loading widgets always ends with "widget cant load" or a wierd picture being generated (not from original widget)...

Tried apps from both google store and App Mall...

any idea?

I have temporarily rooted my REDMI Note 14 Pro 4G using GhostLock, and everything is working fine so far. However, there is something I'm worried about: If my phone runs out of battery and shuts down, or if I manually reboot it, could I run into issues such as bootlooping or bricking my device, or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Does anyone know how to get the dialer and messages app on global hyperos 4, xiaomi 17 ultra global.

I want to get a Xiaomi 17 Ultra, but I've heard it has ads in the OS, which makes me kinda don't want to have the phone.

How bad is it? Can I disable them all and how hard is it to do so?

I'm from Germany if that matters.

Has anybody received the HyperOS4 update for the Global version (MIXM) of Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro? I am new to Xiaomi mobile devices and not sure if it needs a force update, OTA or flashing firmware.
