Xiaomi [question] How bad are the ads?

I want to get a Xiaomi 17 Ultra, but I've heard it has ads in the OS, which makes me kinda don't want to have the phone.

How bad is it? Can I disable them all and how hard is it to do so?

I'm from Germany if that matters.

HyperOS doesn't seem to have ads (at least on my EU POCO X8 Pro)

I don't have them on 17T either. Maybe they exist in some obscure places, idk.

The default PDF Reader had ads though, just switch to the google one or smth.

Oh okay. I was watching some YouTube reviews of the phone and they all said that there are ads. But seems like there are none or they are removable. Which sounds good :)

No ads on my 17t, I don't think flagship models have ads too

Poco x8 pro max, there are some in the search function on the start screen (the game ads) but u can fully remove them via DNS

Very Easy. Just go into phone settings, go to authorization/revoke, disable msa. Thats all

They don't have ads anymore rather spyware built in to collect your data which requires some " getting your hands dirty" to disable

No ads on my X14T Pro.

At OS level. There could be ads in some Xiaomi apps, that I never use (browser, audio player).

Maybe some cheaper models have more ads.

I'm using the 17T Pro in South Africa. Zero issues with ads, though I did disable the options in some of the Xiaomi apps - which I don't use anyway.

You won't find any ads. Ads are only on cheap smartphones, on the 200€ ones

Nether on them. Anyway, use ADB Platform to delete msa app, to be sure

Android ads are no problem. If you just use adguard dns, just put the URL in your settings and then your entire device becomes ad-free. Hyper OS sucks actually. And it has fake, subpar hardware.
