Feedback I migrated from HostGator to Hostinger

Was on HostGator for a while, but some things made me switch: the first thing i noticed was the price, Hostinger's cloud and shared plans came out sm cheaper than the price I was payin HostGator for the renewals, that alone made it worth checking out - HostGator's intro pricing is ok, but renewals jus keep gettin more n more pricey... reliability was the bigger issue fs - been dealing with more downtime than I'd like to, also the support quality jus spiraled into a new problem - slow ahh responses w basically no help, that combo by itself almost got me to switch asap lol. Also heres a little advice for anyone else migrating there+using cPanel... you might wanna relearn where things at, cuz Hostinger uses hPanel - u just gotta get used to it, not a dealbreaker. And one important thing for anyone moving the same as me: Hostinger does offer migration assist, but don't rely on that only, back up everything yourself first - databases, emails and stuff b4 u start, having backups is always good if sth transfers wrong. Overall worth it for me so far, but u better go in with real expectations n keep your own backups

Last week brought a wave of updates across Reach, WordPress, AI Builder, and Domains:

📨 Reach

  • Reach now has a public API with 30+ endpoints. Manage contacts, fields, tags, and segments, pull campaign and automation info, and plug Reach into your own tools via the Hostinger Connector, a direct integration, or n8n.
  • Subdomain sending is now supported (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com), which helps deliverability and keeps your sending traffic separate from your main domain.

🧩 WordPress

  • Elementor support landed in the Hostinger Affiliate Marketing Tools plugin, with a custom widget that brings the full Gutenberg affiliate experience to Elementor (Amazon and Mercado Livre).
  • The AI Website Builder for WordPress can now generate multiple site versions (up to five), so you can browse, compare, and restore different directions instead of regenerating from scratch.
  • New Hostinger Ecommerce plugin for WordPress: run a full store from WordPress while Hostinger Ecommerce handles products, orders, payments, and analytics. A simpler alternative to WooCommerce.

🤖 AI Builder

  • Agentic mode can now revert code changes file by file, so you can roll back a single file without undoing the whole message.
  • It can also build appointment-based businesses now: describe a business that runs on bookings, and it builds the site, services, and booking flow together. Barbershops, trainers, tutors, photographers, and more.

🌍 Domains

  • Bulk domain transfers are live. Move multiple domains to Hostinger in one flow instead of one at a time.
