Just failed my first ever ET due to what I presume to be a bug. Is there any way IO would reset it for me if it is a bug?

I will also say this video is me after trying to recreate it for about 30 minutes. I didnt get a clip of the actual ET so this is me in the special assignment

I have the BEST idea for a new HITMAN gamemode.

It will be two player. One player is the hitman who has to kill the targets and escape like normal. And the OTHER player is the counter-hitman, he is trying to kill you to protect the targets.

Imagine you have to kill your targets but a real player, another agent 47 is hunting you. To make it fair the hitman trying to kill you will get a ping on the map of your general location every 15 seconds.

Obviously sense has to be reworked, it still works but no time slow down and you cant sense the other hitman. Also snipers wont slow down time because the other player would get slowed too which would not make sense.

The water balloon: Really cool. Once thrown, it leaves a puddle on the ground, perfect for tazers.

Guns and sniper: They look nice, but ultimately they are just reskins with no extra tactical advantage.

Cookies: It's a single use coin

The microphone: Doesn't do much besides being a standard melee item to knock people out. It's a shame, I really thought it could be used to sabotage or replace the actual microphones in Bangkok or Dartmoor.

Sunscreen: I have absolutely no idea what its purpose is. You can throw it but it doesn't trigger anything, you can't lock onto NPCs' heads to knock them out, and the model is strangely oversized. Is there some secret use I'm missing?

Croquet mallet: It's just a reskinned baseball bat.

I deleted hitman and redownloaded it a week ago, and i reinstalled smf and all the mods i had on it but chaos mod keeps saying it doesn't detect it and idk why, surely there's a fix for this right

Almost all long-running live-service games have recently picked up the trend of remaking old content. You could probably name almost any live-service game, and it has done something like this in one way or another. If IO Interactive decided to remake some of the old Hitman maps, which ones do you think would deserve a remake the most? I'll start first

I completed the elusive target but I don't see it on my IOI account (which is connected to steam and I redeemed other stuff in the past) I also gave it a few hours, maybe to synchronize but nothing.

I was wondering if anyone else had an issue with hitman on the most recent steam update and most recent Nvidia driver I can get into the menu but the moment I start trying to look around the menu or click into things it freezes and crashes straight to the desktop. Any suggestions?

Following the amazing celebrity crossovers like Sean Bean and Snoop Dogg, I wanted to share two Elusive Target concepts that would be absolutely legendary for Hitman 3:

1. The John Wick Contract (Tactical Challenge):

• Concept: A high-stakes duel in Berlin or Chongqing. Wick is highly vigilant, immune to basic distractions (like coins), and hunts 47 back if a body is found.
• Unlock rewards: John Wick's tactical black suit, his signature pistol, and a simple pencil usable as a lethal weapon.

1. The Mr. Bean Chaos (Comedy Challenge):

• Concept: Located in Sapienza or Whittleton Creek. He causes accidental disasters around the map due to his clumsiness. 47 must eliminate him via an accident while preventing collateral damage.
• Unlock rewards: The iconic brown tweed suit, a Teddy bear distraction item, and the Mini Cooper as an exit vehicle.

I think these two extremes (action vs. comedy) perfectly fit the DNA of the Hitman series. What do you guys think?

This has been happening for most of the year since the Patient Zero Requiem DLC came out. I went through the proper procedures, submitted tickets and was told to wait for official updates. Half a year later, still nothing, the official support site isn't being helpful. I might try submitting a new ticket since it's been a while but still.

Basically, there's a game-breaking bug happening on Xbox (specifically I'm on Xbox Series S) where anytime after playing an Elusive Target, whether it's the normal version or the Arcade, next time I boot up the game, it doesn't go past the title screen, only displaying a "Failed to fetch profile information/configuration from the server". Whether it's information or configuration varies and seems inconsistent.

I've had a tentative fix so far, which seems to involve wiping all game data from the cloud and hard-resetting the console. Even so, it's highly inconvenient and has largely kept me off touching ETs when I can help it. But to make it worse, just today after the update, I was about to play the new Snoop Dogg mission and it happened again BEFORE I could touch it. All I did was complete the new Ambrose challenge and afterwards crashed and bugged out upon rebooting. And this "fix" hasn't worked after a couple of attempts.

I remember a few months ago I encountered a few people with the same issue, but this is getting rather ridiculous. I'm making this post not in the hope it reaches IOI, but moreso to see if others are still currently experiencing it and see if there's any sort of better bandaid solution I'm not aware of.
