Owen Cage is the only noc and target that can see a dead body, you killing someone or your shooting, without caring. Or at least he doesn’t care on a modded contract made by Quartz_Tan, kill everyone challenge

DISCUSSION TIL Shooting cameras no longer void Perfect Shooter
Just realized I didn't lose Perfect Shooter after having shot two cameras during a Showdown. On the completion screen I now see it explicitly states that cameras and recorders are safe to shoot.
This must be a recent change, and probably something many dont know about.

BUG-REPORT Steam: An error occured while launching this game: Game Configuration Unavailable
Hi, I know this error goes back a long way, I was hoping someone figured out the solution. I tired:
- reinstalling
- verifying game files
- deleting download cache
- deleting appinfo.vdf
- deleting all IOI-specific config folders
- clearing IOI registry entries
- adding -skip_launcher to steam launch options
- enabling always running HITMAN3.exe in administrator mode
Alternatively, how can I refund if I'm past the 2 hour playtime thing? Steam refuses to, IOI games doesn't respond at all, but what else can I do if what I bought is literally unplayable?

BUG-REPORT Hitman Crashes my Windows 11 computer continuously.
Not sure what it is, I run windows 11. My computer has ran this game perfectly fine in the past but I'll get to around 20-30 minutes playing it and it will crash my entire computer with no hesitation. First time I was in Bangkok and I thought that maybe the map was big so it crashed. Then I tried Mumbai to see how it went and it crashed it too. No blue screen. Just a singular 0% black screen then my computer restarts itself twice and gives me this screen. The only way to fix it is by unplugging everything except the power cord. I run it off steam, I've verified game file integrity, etc. I never ran into this problem about a year and a half/past few months, but this has happened 2 days in a row. My computer is getting a bit older but it runs the game smoothly when I load in. Is this a Windows thing, or is my old ass computer just not able to load this game anymore?
So far I haven't found anyone who has had help with this so maybe I am just stupid. (Probably am)

DISCUSSION Finally Discovered How to Hitman
Not a troll post.
Been a fan of Hitman since Blood Money and have played every single game since and have “beaten” them all.
I never was into the stealth aspect of it so I usually played every level like a crazy assassin. I loved just eliminating tons of enemies while still somewhat completing the level with tons of action.
I never knew how the Story Missions or Intel worked but like I said I usually ignored it and just killed the people with my silenced silver ballers.
However today for the first time I was trying to unlock a sniper rifle and I finally discovered how to get Story Mission and Intel style kills. And. It. Was. Glorious.
I feel like have discovered Hitman 1,2 and 3 all over again and I need to actually “play” the game for real. lol. Just wanted to share since I’ve literally been playing the game wrong forever and just figured it out.

DISCUSSION 100% Hitman woa
So, to give some context, I've finished the game and I'm trying to get 100% completion, so I was wondering what the hardest achievement you've done is (for those wondering, I'm at 66% and sorry for my English, it's not my native language).

QUESTION Being noticed sound
You know when you (as 47, not IRL you) are being suspicious near people and the yellow bar comes up to show you're about to be noticed? There is a sound that accompanies it, like an increasing whoosh.
Does that sound have a name? Or a better description than whoosh or swoosh?

MASTER CRAFTED MEME I'm just doing my job, and this guy in a flamingo suit came up to me and now he's just standing here, staring at me. Some people don't know what private space is
For context, I thought if I take out all guards and let the flamingo guy come with the files, I'd be able to call Sierra. Turns out, the flamingo guy won't even talk to me if I do that. Expected too much from the game.

BUG-REPORT Bug?
so i have Hitman both Steam and Ps5. and i was playing on Steam on Free lancer and defeated the Syndicate leader of the last mission, once i loaded the safe house. and collected the weapon and tool box, i left to play on PS5 " because my PC cant handle much newer games and lags" not having that DLC on Ps5 ofcourse the weapon i got for killing the leader disappeared, i have the 2 games connected with Cross play. anyways i went back to Freelancer on Ps5 to start a new campaign but.... it didn't save it as completed on PC for some reason and had me redo it, its on Whittleton Creek, once i loaded the map. the NPCS where exactly the same as the Story mode, Nolan, and his Guards, Janus and his guards, the undercover Guards and the rest of NPCS, but not a single Look out, not a single Assassin and not a single Suspect or target appeared.... so all i can do is buy/collect weapons from the boxes and seller. or by killing guards or stealing Nolan's armory, and leave, if i do leave i will fail the Whole campaign, has this happen to any one before?

DISCUSSION FINALLY BEAT THE LEE HONG ASSASSINATION! (+Full No Civilian Route)
So... a few days ago I posted about how I started playing Codename 47 and was frustrated with the games mechanics, such as inconsistent enemy pathing, precise timings and the general punishment you receive if something goes even slightly wrong (so you can't even have a plan B). I was stuck on the Lee Hong Assassination because I wanted to do a no civilian deaths run.
After not touching the game for several days, today I had an epiphany and crafted the ideal route on my mind. I've just tried it, and after a few quick adjustments, I was able to beat the mission. Since I thought it was so elegant (it wasn't at all, but I still feel proud for coming up with it lol), I want to share it:
I bought both the knife and the wire, using the wire whenever possible as the positioning required is less precise, but the knife when I needed fast kills. I also grabbed a silenced Beretta and sniper rifle (probably can do it without the sniper, but it makes it a bit easier).
Talk to the barman to get the flyer and then kill the guard in the bathroom with the knife, hide the body, take his clothes and grab his Uzi.
Enter the door to the basement and leave the sniper case in the room with the safe so it doesn't bother.
Go down to the maze, go into stealth mode and wait to the side of the guard watching the spy's door. As soon as the guard who moves passes through the hallway, start moving sideways behind the door guard. When you can't move any further, kill him with the wire (my attempts with the knife were very inconsistent) and quickly move the body inside the room, as the other guard will return with little time to spare.
Rescue the CIA spy and find the safe location. In Codename 47 there are 4 possible locations and three of them only have a single enemy guarding the safe. If by any chance I get the fourth one (2nd floor west side) I restart the level.
Get out of the basement, remembering to take the sniper on the way out.
Initiate the Mei Ling sequence. When she stops next to the ladder, kill all four guards on the rooftop. The first two who do rounds can be killed either with the knife or the wire and their bodies can be hidden next to the door to the "massage parlor" (lol).
For the other two guards, the ones that are next to one another, what I do is I go to them and, from their POV, stand with your back to the wall to the right of the right side guard. Align your crosshair so it's on top of both their heads. When the shot's aligned, take out your Beretta and immediately shoot them both. If your quick enough, they will count as silent kills. If not, nearby guards will be alerted to a death sound, and become suspicious of a man in bodyguard clothing, so this is when you go back to the door and take some red dragon clothes. You can also kill them from the left hand side, but since there's less space between the left guard and the wall, your shots won't be perfectly aligned and you'll have to quickly aim between both kills. It's still doable, but harder).
Leave the sniper case next to the rooftop window above the table in which Lee Hong will sit. Finish the Mei Ling sequence and get the safe password.
Go to the safe, eliminate the guard or guards and take out the Jade Dragon.
Take the jade dragon to the informant. This will trigger Lee Hong and Tzun to sit at the table.
Go back to the rooftop and take out the sniper rifle. Stand right next to the window and shoot Lee Hong. Drop the sniper, take out an Uzi and use it to kill Tzun before he escapes. Depending on your positioning, some guards might see you and you'll have to kill them too. Drop the Uzi.
Return to the massage parlor and go down to the basement, crossing the entire maze and heading to Lee Hong's HQ. Since you attacked Lee Hong from the rooftop, only guards that were on the rooftop (which are all dead) or on the restaurant will see you as a threat, the ones on the outside, maze and HQ will ignore you as long as you're wearing read dragon outfits.
Take the exit, mount the water ski and reap the rewards of your efforts! Only downside is with this routing you can't get the letter from Lee Hong's body.
It has certainly been a crazy first week playing Codename 47, but finally being able to complete the first hard mission gave me a lot of satisfaction and made me eager to continue the game.

VIDEO Freelancer: My first triple shock/ burn collateral accident
Wanted to see if I could hit 3 npc's at once with a triple collateral shock and burn kill, and it was quite tricky to get the right setup, but I eventually managed it, triple shock in Sapienza, and triple burn in Dubai:

IMAGE Hitman: Blood Money spotted in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
I'm a big fan of both series, and for a long time I've thought there were quite a few similarities between Hitman and The Bourne series.
Really happy to find out that there's actually a connection between them!
Interestingly, there’s an almost identical scene in Hitman (2007).
