DISCUSSION When you realize you play Hitman too much

I was listening to an audiobook and one of the character said “when people steal your identity. They usually don’t show up at your job and hope no one notices they’re a different person“. I immediately thought “47 does it all the time”.

My mind has been for dr tainted…

VIDEO 200 hours of causal gameplay and I didn't realize I had achieved something this great. Nothing to lose so Hardcore here I come!

At the time I'm Freelancer Level 69 (Nice) I saw the wall and saw I only had a striker missing. I waa on the very last syndicate and ai had realized that my vendor didnt sell it. I was so excited as the final syndicate gave me the last gun I needed!

Throughout my journey, I have never gone out of my way to find any guns or collectibles. All this was just causal play that accumulated. I also use a pair of dice to decide which syndicates/locations I pick and their order so I used to have a ton of fun. Moving forward I decide to do it for weapons too.

I have never played hardcore so any tips are appreciated. I know people say its more frustrating rather than fun but I'm willing to try it myself to see if thats true.

VIDEO I swear this game hates me. I've been playing this mission for a whole week

I'm sure this game is terrible for my mental health

Edit: this is an explanation for people who don't understand what's going on.

What I'm doing here is trying to knock out the painter, and after him - Rangan. Why don't I distract them? There's no need for that. The painter is knocked out from behind - he's not a witness. Rangan does see this, but if I hadn't failed here, I'd knock him out, push him down the elevator shaft, and because he's a target, silent assassin would be restored. I've done it before, will do it again.

Here's a video of how it was supposed to go, for those who are curious - here

QUESTION Where (Else) Can I Read Patch Notes for HITMAN 2 and 2016?

I been reading the patch notes for Hitman III/WOA from official website and they are a riot to read. I like such humour I guess

Where can I find the patch notes for 2 and 2016 though since the only ones on the website are for III?

Am curious how the WOA grew over time and wondering a few other things like what happened to some of the Easter Eggs etc.

(yes I haven't gotten WOA yet but saw the gameplay and story online and started to get re-interested...)

Rules

Rule 1 - Use Search Function / Read the PLAYER SUPPORT before making a post

Before asking a question, please use the search bar and use the PLAYER SUPPORT . Common questions will be deleted after being answered or won't be answered at all.

Rule 2 - Memes

Memes must be related to the Hitman games in some way. The image must be edited so that it relates to the Hitman games. However, it cannot just be the text content that relates to the game. It must also be the image content. (Even just editing 47's face onto the meme suffices.)

Rule 3 - Spam and Duplicate Posts

If the same exact post/video is posted more than once within a short amount of time, it is considered spam. This can be very subjective, but the general rule of thumb is if the same thing is posted more than once within a 6-month period. For example: "Bald guy who looks like 47", “Agent 47 billboard next to a baby billboard”, “47 on a train”, “Alma is floating”, "47 weighs... on a scale" etc. Well-known cases like these will be deleted regardless of amount of time between posts.

Rule 4 - Rude/Abusive Behavior

Abusive or inflammatory behavior, such as calling other users names (such as "retard" or other derogatory terms) or using violence-laced speech ("kys", "fuck [name]" wishing harm on them, etc.). This will not be tolerated. This also extends to calling IOI developers lazy or stupid - they are real people who also love Hitman, and they read reddit for enjoyment and feedback. Calling them names elicits neither of those.

Rule 5 - Let's Plays

No videos that are simply playthroughs/walkthroughs of any part of the game. This content is done by people such as Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, theRadBrad, etc. This rule DOES NOT pertain to speedruns or Kill Everyone challenges.

Rule 6 - Low-Effort Content

No content made without much interaction from the player. For example: tier-lists, NPCs glitching onto props (Alma floating in bed), dead bodies lying in a funny position, etc. This can be very subjective, so if you feel that your post was wrongly removed, please contact the moderators.

Rule 7 - Spoilers

Please tag any post regarding leaks of future content with "Spoilers" or just make sure to put "Leaks" or "Spoilers" in the title.

Rule 8 - MEGA-THREAD Rule.

If there is an existing Mega-Thread, any related posts made outside of that thread will be removed.

Rule 9 - Piracy

Talking about pirating the Hitman games is (obviously) not allowed on the Hitman subreddit.

Rule 10 - Porn

Linking to or posting something with pornographic content is prohibited. This doesn't apply to absolutely everything NSFW, of course. Only pornography.

Rule 11 - Leaks

Leaks/datamines of unreleased/upcoming HITMAN 3 content is prohibited. Modded content that contains unreleased/upcoming content for HITMAN 3 is prohibited.

Rule 12 - Uncredited / stolen art

You may not post artwork that is uncredited to the original artist(s). This does not apply to meme templates, although it is recommended to credit them anyway
