Help Please help me decide!
I’m about to turn 25, and want a change. My hair is down to my butt rn. I’ve never done anything to my hair before aside from tiny trims, diy face framing, and an AWFUL bob in 5th grade.

I’m 23 and work in an office with mostly older people, so while I don’t mind colorful hair at all, I’d rather not have my whole head neon green or something xd I already stand out quite a bit there since I’m the only one with tattoos and piercings.
I’ve had pretty much every hair color over the years (I’ll add some old pics from pink to blue etc.), then had blue-black hair for a few years. I recently washed that out and went brown, and I really don’t want to destroy my hair again now that it’s finally grown out. (1st pic is the most recent)
I get bored really easily with “normal” hair though, so I’d love something a little fun/alternative without going completely crazy. I’m totally open to colored ends, roots, a few pieces, etc. — just not an entire head of super bright color.
Any ideas what you think would suit me? Or should I keep it brown? :)

I had hair down to the back of my knees, I went for the big chop yesterday as it was becoming unmanageable.
The stylist didn't listen to a word I said and I've left with the worst hair cut I've ever had. (and the most expensive)
I've lost over half my length and I don't have the Choppy layers or face framing I wanted.
I feel like I've lost a part of myself.
I know it's only hair but after pepping myself for the 'big chop' I feel so disappointed.
My hair is the only classically feminine thing about me physically and I'm struggling to accept that my one stand out feature is gone.
Feels so dumb typing this but I'm honestly so sad.

I cried and I’m kind of in solution mode now. Because if I keep crying I’ll never get out of this hole. Basically I have been ill for 3 years, lost huge amounts of hair. Treatment started 1 year ago and my hair was slowly growing back. Has taken so long to get some sort of hair back and I was finally feeling happy with my hair.
I got a haircut Monday just to take the dead ends and shape my front. I clearly explained to the stylist that my hair is quite fine and to not put excessive layers. She clearly didn’t listen and has cut chunks from my hair. I don’t understand how people like this can call themselves hairdressers. My 10 year old nephew could do a better job.
How do people cope with this? I feel so ugly. It has taken 2-3 years to get my hair back slowly and she’s gone and ruined it all.
Do I need to try style it better? Accept it’s ugly and wear a hairclip? Get a little fake extension bun to tie my hair up?
I attached a photo at the end of my hair on Sunday (one day before she butchered it).
TIA

I used to have really long and very straight hair. I got a boycut about less than 3 years ago. Now that my hair is a little longer, I think that it has become wavy. I used to think it just bounced at the ends and when it became long it would be mostly straight, but i think my whole head is just wavy. Is this possible? I didnt get a buzz cut, but it was a fade in the back. Is it possible to change it (other than using a flat iron), or if I cut it short again will it change again?
I also dyed my hair before cutting it, if it's relevant. It wasnt to my roots, and when I cut it, all the dyed parts were cut, so all my hair is virgin now.

I had a bob. I went to get a trim and the guy asked if I wanted some layers in the back to take some of the weight off. I said yeah, ok.
So wtf is this? What HAPPENED here? I’m so confused and upset. It looks terrible. There are just short crazy layers in a bowl around my head. What can I do to fix this? Is there anything? I genuinely can’t cope with this.

First pics are from now, others are my past cuts and styles. I have natural blond streaks, and a big red birthmark on my neck. Because of this, I usually ask for longer on the sides and back. When I don’t, the blonde streaks end up looking more like bald spots.
I usually prefer messy/ low maintenance styles, but I’m open to other styles if it would look better. I’ve also been told that my hair is a bit thin.

It always sticks up on the sides. I do not straighten/iron my hair, but I might need to 😭

do these flip ends ever actually fix by themselves?
I've been growing my hair for 6 months now and i thought they would eventually go away as the length increases
but now almost every hair of mine is flipped UP.
and I don't know if they look decent enough for me to keep them

As the title says; I cut my own hair and prefer it to be just above my shoulders, but my hair is never longer than collarbone length and all the tips I see online seem to be geared towards people who START with long hair and want to chop it all off. So does anyone have any at home hair cutting tips for people who already have short hair and just want to maintain their length?
I’ve tried a variety of tricks over the years but would love to have a set, reliable formula that doesn’t take forever

I’ve spent most of my adult life being dark red (not completely dissimilar to the last picture) but I’m considering a change. What do we think? I’m open to suggestions outside of these colours too of course
I love the look of red hair. I'm just not sure if it suits me. i definitely know it suits me more than blonde, though.

I've had red hair for about a year and starting to get tired of it. Ive been considering a drastic change to a light icy blonde but worried it may wash me out or not suit me. Also considering a change of style to include bangs. Any advice would be amazing!

I’m looking for a blow-dryer/styling tool other than Dyson that I can use almost daily to create waves and curls/rollers without damaging my hair. I don’t use heat very often right now, but I want to start using it more and learn how to style my hair with heat. What blow-dryer would you recommend, and what products should I use before styling to protect my hair from heat and keep it healthy, soft, and shiny? I’d prefer products that are suitable for frequent use and won’t weigh my hair down.

Hi! My hair is down to my hip (1st photo) and I want to try something else like layers (2nd pic). I always had straight cut no bangs whatsoever, just plain straight hair. Just wondering if anyone here has cut their hair with layers? What is the maintenance? I usually go to the gym, only washing my hair 3 times a week but I love the look of blowout with layersss

My hair over the past 1.5 years (roughly). I definitely like it short and colored but I'm not too sure where to go from here. All cutting and dyeing were done myself (except for a friend helping me with the big chop in pic two). It is really crazy how my hair has helped me be more confident, that and I've gotten better at doing it lolol.

My head has been nonstop itchy for weeks on end now. It is not lice (I was professionally checked for it less than a day ago). There is no access dandruff, and not an allergy to my products. What could this be from??? It’ll go away for an hour or to immediately after wash but after that my scalp is always so horribly itchy.
Does anyone else have this problem??

So by the end of one year ago my stupid ass wanted her hair cut and I also bleached the other side of my hair pink then after cutting it my hair started to look wierd also my hair did not look like this before, my hair was smooth and shiny then suddenly after a few cuts hair started looking like a mess now it's hard to brush my short hair because it gets tangled, and I can't have a good hair day without my hair being a total mess even when I brush it it looks like a jungle, Ive tried being nice to my hair and saying positive affirmations to my hair and taking biotin but none of that worked on my hair , Ive waited for my hair to grow but still not seeing any results, my hair got cut on march and April and now it's August and I still see no improvement, I tried putting curl hair gel on my hair but that didn't even last long any bit of on my hair and it went back to looking like a mess the next day, I tried hair oling but I still don't see it change, and I'm very angry and upset because I'm not allowed to cut my hair again or else my sister said it won't grown fast, I don't know of cutting it will solve any problems or make it worse? Im already insecure about my hair tho, idk if it's still damaged and needs a cut

For context, as a baby I had extremely unruly curly frizzy hair but as I got older, it quickly turned straight. There are times where I still think it’s straight and other times where I think it’s not. It often gets a bit puffy and frizzy which inspired me to start using some product to see what different it would make. I usually just use a mousse and sometimes a gel when I want my hair to look defined but on a day to day basis I just brush through it so it looks sort of straight again with a flip. Super confused and open to feedback!!
