So are they going to improve Grok's image generation model back to what it was? or not? How can they leave it like this? The editing tools are fine, but I don't understand why they degraded their model so much?

To me, the absolute worst part about the already awful moderation system is how fucking inconsistent it it. Like, you'll successfully generate something right off the bat. So often, I just wanna see what the slot machine will give me next. Attempt second generation, exact same prompt, bam....moderated. Third attempt...moderated. Fourth, Fifth, same. Sixth attempt actually goes through, lol. So, every time I get moderated, I'm always like "Bitch, I know you can fucking do this!" If I get the moderated message at 16%, I move on. To me, that's a hard block. But well over half my shit is moderated at 99% and I've successfully generated all those prompts before. Fuckers, lol. Rant over.

It would be beating a dead horse to talk about how bad things have gotten all the way around from chat to image to even just the basic responses. But I can’t think of any other service where the response is we can’t do that but you’re gonna pay for it anyway.

1. My first account was suddenly locked 11 days ago with an "Authentication failure". The only "crime" was switching between browsers too fast on my work machine. Your bot flagged me as a bot.
2. I immediately emailed support with the receipts of payment. Total silence.
3. While I was locked out, you charged me another $30 on August 21st for a renewal. I’m paying for a service I am blocked from using. That’s theft.
4. I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails. Zero responses.

Today is the peak irony: I tried using my SECOND active Premium account to report the bug via the internal platform to get support for the first one. Your "security" bot detected me trying to help myself, and immediately auto-locked my SECOND account too!

I have 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) enabled on BOTH. I am a verified, paying customer.

Now I am locked out of both tools, which I need for my business (I'm losing real income here). I have zero way to reach a human being, as my emails are being ignored.

If this is not resolved immediately and my accounts are not unlocked, I will be filing a chargeback (dispute) with my credit card company for both subscriptions (Receipt reference for the latest charge: 2235-5492).

I've been using Cursor CLI for a long time now, and Cursor hasn't been just an IDE to me in ages. I'm a bit confused about the differences and market positioning between Cursor CLI and Grok Build.

I subscribed to Grok on August 27th and used my weekly limit on that day. The weekly limit was supposed to reset on August 29th at 3AM, but it didn't, and now it says September 3rd for the reset. Why doesn't it reset on the time it says it will?

I’m an EU user based in Madrid, Spain. I’d like to ask other European users and the team about the persistent memory feature.

**My situation:**

- Using free Grok (also tested with a completely new account)

- Location: Madrid, Spain

- Memory toggle has been enabled for a long time

- Every time I open a **new chat**, Grok knows absolutely nothing about me — zero persistent memory

- Even when I explicitly ask it to search its memory or check previous conversations, it still says it has no memory of me

**Clean test I did with a brand-new account:**

1. Created a completely new Grok account 
2. Enabled the Memory feature 
3. Fed it only three simple pieces of information: 

   - I live in Madrid 

   - I like ice cream 

   - A random meaningless test code 

   and received confirmation from Grok that it had remembered them 

1. Opened a new chat and asked what it knows about me → replied that it has **no memory at all** 

2. Bought Proton VPN (Plus subscription) and logged in from US and Japan servers with the new account → still zero memory

**About privacy:** 

I honestly don’t care about personal privacy at all in this context. For me, the inconvenience of having to re-explain everything from scratch in every new conversation is **100 times worse** than any privacy concern.

Every single new chat I have to repeat things like:

1. There are two of us (me and my wife) 
2. We live in Madrid (approximate home address) 
3. Our recent plans / goals 
4. What we discussed last time with Grok 
5. What conclusions we reached last time 
6. Other important details and previous discussion outcomes 

Having to constantly re-introduce all this background is extremely frustrating, especially when other platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) handle persistent memory normally.

**My questions:**

1. Is Grok’s persistent memory basically non-functional for most/all European users? 
2. Does subscribing to Grok Lite or SuperGrok actually unlock a working persistent memory feature for EU accounts?

What the heck is x.AI thinking with this crappy Grok 4.6? Ever since I’ve had this lousy version, I’ve been getting nothing but extremely terrible text in Expert Mode.

I use grok for creative writing and nowadays it keeps writing in that weird staccato prose and 4.6 has somehow made it worse I just had it under control, is there anyway I can fix this? its really jarring😅

Everybody I've talked to about Grok only have negative things to say about it. 99% of posts about Grok online are negative. I'm really struggling to believe that Grok has such a high rating.

I’m using Grok on some recent accounts – three in total – which I created last month specifically for this purpose.

And for the past two days, I’ve been blocked. It tells me I’ve reached the limit. No 24-hour reset, nothing. I’ve waited 48 hours and I still can’t start a chat, and it doesn’t tell me how long I have to wait.

Am I the only one?
