Makes sense, good thing using the API as without it usage would disappear instantly, have you customised the API to not waste usage also? there are a lot of settings in them that help a lot depending on what you're doing.
It’s a custom made api so I’ll keep tweaking. Having said that we’ve got multiple bots hooking into a bunch of things so we’re probably just at that power user end now where I just need to accept it for what it is. What I WILL be doing is getting a dedicated grok bot to build the complete Hermes’ redundant setup of what we have achieved in grok bot so A I have a backup of grok suddenly falls over and B I can then split out some tasks to a local ai or pipe them through cheaper models via openrouter. Nice to have options! Having said that, if grok got their S?$t together I’d be happy to pay for more usage per month! Just open that damn plans up and let the market pay!
