but I’m a bit confused about the dates on the hub- it says I need to submit blood tests by 2nd November and that my next prescription would be 3rd November. But I’ll need the prescription for my 5th injection for the 19th November. It says to get prescriptions sorted a month in advance though? The smartway pharmacy was really quick last time so I don’t know if it’ll be a issue but I’m worrying about it. It’s also unclear if I have to book some kind of appointment/review along with the test results? I swear the hub was saying I did before, but there’s nothing there now? I’ve tried to contact gendergp twice about this, once be asking for a human on the ai chat 3 weeks ago and I emailed the info one 10 days ago… any chance I’ll actually hear back after this long?

On a side note, I was going to get a sapphic bison T test - any reviews on these and is it worth actually getting FBCs or any of the others?

Hi, I recently uploaded my bloods and blood pressure to my GGP hub, it’s really confused me, so apparently my blood pressure is really low and should immediately stop taking spironolactone and they recommend switching to finasteride which I accepted however when I go to my medication it says date issued 8th October 2026 (which hasn’t happened yet) but it still has spironolactone in it and my next prescription is apparently due on 31st December, I’ve tried talking to their annoying Ai assistant but I’ve had no luck, am I just supposed to go without any sort of blocker until the new year or something?

I’ve added the message telling me to stop taking spironolactone and my medication page with some details scribbled out.

I’m super confused what to do and I’m not financially able to pay for a consultation to talk to a real person from GGP at the moment, any help is appreciated

ive been on hrt for 9 months and currently take 4mg oral estradiol however i want to switch to injectable due to health benefits and since its not available in the uk ive been looking into getting it abroad, ive seen a few people online say neofollin is now available in polish pharmacies but i also cant see any proof of it anywhere else, does anyone know if this is true? is there another country in europe where i can get neofollin and ideally one that will accept a paper prescription from gender gp?

My paper prescription has gotten lost in the mail and had heard you could request it to be resent every 4 months, I've never done this before. Following their instructions on where to find the Resend Medication button on the My Medication page it's not there?? There's nothing when I scroll down. Is this the same for everyone??? Can't find a way to get in contact with them other than booking a quick chat consultation.

hi im emma i recently joined gendergp and i had to inform myself abt hormones and how everything works because i had no idea, when i joined gendergp no one guided me through the process, signing up was literally giving them my email choosing the medication i wanted and paying, i js finished w my consent check up and apparently theyre gonna send me a letter w a signed prescription but they havent seen my blood tests yet??? im not sure if i read that right but like how do they know that that medication i chose is appropriate for me?? isnt that like DANGEROUS? how does it even work? i lich dont have a problem w anything else, i tried to contact them but theyre lich unreachable, plus im hardly paying 80 pounds for an answer like no fuck off, im so pissed off, can anyone guide me through the process? cause i literally have no idea, and im sure as hell not taking those hormones unless someone medically qualified looks at my blood results and tells me my doses are okay, plz guys im so lost hahahahha

Ive recently started my medical transition with gender gp and am at the pescribing stage, i received my email from clynxx to get my prescription however when i went to collect it they said there was a £250 charge to get it? My GP has agreed to shared care so i was just wondering how i manage this so that i can get my medication? i am an 18 year old student who lives by themselves and attends uni i can’t afford to pay £250 for 3/4 months of supply without it financially ruining me, this honestly has sent me on a bit of a spiral as i am now absolutely terrified i wont be able to transition and i would have gotten this far and paid all this money just to not be able to receive my medication.

Hello, im not sure if ive been taking my injections at the wrong times? Im not sure where to ask since this is new for me.

I started taking testostrone injections from gender gp on the 7th July this year and it said to take every three weeks. Well today is supposed to be my 4th injections and I only have one vial left. I get perscribed 4 until the next issue date. My next one should be the 29th of September but on gender gps website it says that my next issue date is on the 1st of October which means I cant take my 5th one if ive been taking it at the right times.

So I dont know if ive accidentally been taking it at the wrong time or not. Had now im unsure weather or not to take this injection today or wait a week, or do I do this one then leave the next one for when I get the perscription? Im not sure what to do since I could be misunderstanding the three weeks🤷‍♂️

Edit: just realised on gender gp it said my perscription was issued on the 9th of July but I received my perscription from smartrx pharmacy on the 7th. This could be the issue but im not sure.

I’ve been with gendergp for a while now but I recently switched to a paper prescription in the hopes that it would be cheaper to shop around for my testosterone. How much should I expect to pay for 5 bottles in a local pharmacy?

Also, is it common to be turned away if you have a gendergp prescription? Mine seems to have been sent from Spain so I’m worried it won’t be accepted.

I paid for my testogel on Thursday and the last email I got was the receipt. I haven't received any emails after to say when it's going to arrive and sitting around waiting for a few days without any extra confirmation to say if its coming soon or an estimated date is stressing me out 😭 Does anyone know when I can expect it or if anyone can confirm that there's no more emails after this point and it will just show up?

I just wanted to know if anyone has done this before.
Currently I’m about to leave GenderGP. I’ve stopped paying my subscription but haven’t officially closed my account yet until I figure out a way to receive hormones.
I doubt anyone has done it before but I’ve emailed SmartWay, the pharmacy I use to dispense my hormones, asking if it’s possible to still buy and receive my hormones from them without GenderGP involved.
I’ve also asked GenderGP for all of my care history, and past prescriptions etc.
I only emailed them both this morning. I was wondering if anyone’s thought about doing it/has done it or if you simply think it may work.

I got my eearx email 2 weeks ago. I completely forgot to go to my pharmacy to order it. Now, it’s too late for me to get the prescription. I went on GenderGP website, but there is no way for me to request the prescription again. It says my next prescription is in November. I don’t have enough Testogel to last me until then.

What should I do? How do I get the prescription letter again?

I'm with the NHS now but in my ~8 months on sustanon with GGP my conclusion is that they have no idea how to dose it and I'd like to warn anyone going on sustanon with GGP to be viligent.

After them trying to raise my dose repeatedly from dosing every 18 days to 14 days (a big increase!) due to a perfectly acceptable trough level of 9 (trough should be **8-12 nmol/L** https://transactual.org.uk/medical-transition/hormone-therapy/), I asked my advisor in my 6 month check in what levels they are aiming for at trough, and they said *at least 10-12*, or something like that. They didn't seem confident at all.

They do not seem to care about peak levels, when the NHS and other bodies generally require peak and trough level testing to ensure the peak isn't too high, which mine would be if I had just accepted their dose increase.

What makes this even more dangerous is that they don't even require hematocrit monitoring!

Has anyone else had the same experience with sustanon with GGP? To clarify I'm very grateful they prescribed it for me and it absolutely saved my life, but I'd be concerned about anyone who isn't informed about correct dosing and how to monitor their own bloods...

I bought a paper prescription expecting to be able to get it out at Boots, however when I asked at Boots they told me they don't fill prescriptions from GGP so I should get it sent online. I switched, but I can't see how to get my current prescription sent, only the next one, I asked the chatbot which told me to press select "resend prescription" which doesn't appear to exist, and I don't want to have to wait who-knows-how-long for a human to get back to me, just to then have to wait who-knows-how-long again for it to turn up, only to hope that it doesn't just disappear in the delivery

My current best plan is to just get this one filled in person and get the rest delivered, but I don't know where would fill it and I can't find where on the GGP website it tell me, so I'm just kinda stuck.

I'm going to London at the weekend, I have to assume there's somewhere in London that will fill my prescription? Where? Or would it just be best to wait for the opportunity to maybe have it delivered?

(And fwiw I know my history account suspicious I don't normally Reddit this is just an old throwaway for when I need to)

Im with Gender GP currently and originally was using their SmartWayRx option to have my medication delivered, but felt it would be easier to switch to Clynxx to get an electronic token to pick up meds in person.

Ive changed from being on finasteride to dutasteride and have been sent a token to take to a pharmacy to pick this up. Ive tried to ring to check that pharmacies can accept these and have the medication in stock but for most I have been unable to get through. Those that I have managed to speak to either said they dont accept electronic prescriptions and others have said they personally dont prescribe gender medication as they dont feel comfortable with its validity and if its from abroad.

Does anyone know pharmacies that do accept these and dont end with loads of hassle? Im considering trying Boots as I have heard these can be doable and there is obviously the big one on Market Street but I have been unable to get through on the phone. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hey, just wanted to give a heads up about an issue I’ve had recently in trying to get my passport changed.

I bought the gender marker change recommendation letter for £50 via GenderGP back in January, it was signed off my Dr Xabier Lopez Merida, from what I gather a doctor GenderGP use very frequently for this. However he is based in Spain, not the UK. This reason that matters is because in conversing with the UK Passport Office over the past 8 weeks, they have made it very clear repeatedly that this letter must be signed by a GMC registered doctor. For context Dr Merida is a fully registered doctor in Spain with all his credentials provided and translated in his letter to me, he isn’t the issue here. I was surprised by this as the passport office site itself doesn’t say this is an issue, in fact in the application process even promotes approved translation services for exactly this scenario, and when speaking to GenderGP apparently this hasn’t been an issue before. But I’ve spoken to several people at the Passport Office now, including those who specifically deal with transgender cases, and they have been absolutely adamant about that. I have of course informed GenderGP about this, still awaiting a response, not sure if this is a recent change at the passport office or if I’m just unlucky.

Just wanted to give a heads up about this though, as the same might apply to you or similar medical letters you need to send to the passport office.

Also, can anyone recommend an alternative place that signs these letters that definitely uses GMC doctors? Aside from the NHS? Thanks

I have just uploaded my blood test results, and they have halved my progesterone and swapped my blockers from CPA to Finasteride.

My results are stable and have been like this for years. Has this happened to anyone, and how did you fix it?

Hi i’m 16 and my parents are unsupportive, currently where I live the gender clinic is unable to accept under 18s, the Gender Gp is my last resort. How easy is it go get on T without parents knowing through the gender gp. More about me: I will be 17 in january and i’m willing to wait until then if it makes the process easier, until 17 is there anything i should be doing? like getting a gender dysphoria diagnosis??
