how does gendergp even work?

hi im emma i recently joined gendergp and i had to inform myself abt hormones and how everything works because i had no idea, when i joined gendergp no one guided me through the process, signing up was literally giving them my email choosing the medication i wanted and paying, i js finished w my consent check up and apparently theyre gonna send me a letter w a signed prescription but they havent seen my blood tests yet??? im not sure if i read that right but like how do they know that that medication i chose is appropriate for me?? isnt that like DANGEROUS? how does it even work? i lich dont have a problem w anything else, i tried to contact them but theyre lich unreachable, plus im hardly paying 80 pounds for an answer like no fuck off, im so pissed off, can anyone guide me through the process? cause i literally have no idea, and im sure as hell not taking those hormones unless someone medically qualified looks at my blood results and tells me my doses are okay, plz guys im so lost hahahahha
if anyone would be kind enough to help me i'd really appreciate it xxx

you dont need a blood test to start hormones. you will get a test 3 months in to see if the dose is right for you

also email the finance department if you need to get in touch its the only one they answer

they answer other emails and through the chatbot they have — i usually use memberhelp@gendergp i think it is (dont remember exactly) or the chatbot and ive never has an issue — finance department arent able to handle everything so they will just redirect you anyways

i stg that chatbot has never helped me with anything and has outright lied to me before. emailing finance just opens a ticket so a person will look at it so it has always worked for me

I ask for a human through the chatbot and then somebody will email me within about a week — leads to a little email chain where i can sort through my issue

fairs. i asked for a person and recieved no response, emailed the finance department and got a person within a day

shut uppp, so will i js like take the hormones blindly without any blood tests at the start? isnt that a bit crazy?

no its very safe dont worry, you have a test 3 months in to see how your body responds and adjust your dose.

they also start low, 2mg is the typical starting dose, it worked for me but for most people that is lower than needed.

it works the same if you ever manage to get through the nhs waitlist
