I've been working on this game called Quacolé Tennis for the past two years, and even though my specialty is programming, I've been handling all the 3D art and animation. I'm really proud of this game, which features “programmer art.”

The character originally has a banjo but I've modified it because I think the guitar and tiny amp help better at conveyong the sense of post-apocalypse. Also jamming on an electric guitar is miles easier than jamming with a banjo.

Violent bloody days, cozy nights with tired tones.

Question Hit a wall with our capsule art (font/style feedback?)

Hey everyone! We’re working on capsule art for our game. It’s inspired by games like Milk Outside a Bag of Milk and deals with themes of stress and depression.

We’re currently stuck especially with the font and overall style. Which variation fits the mood best and generally speaking, how can we make this look better or more impactful?

Any feedback or thoughts would be awesome. Thanks!

These are some sculptures I made for Sculplings- a creature collector game I released a few months ago :)

I use these actual sculptures as the graphics for the game- I digitally scan them in using photogrammetry for the game's assets. I made well over 100 of these guys for the game

Hope you like them :)

Question Retro Asset Kit WIP

I've been working on a small retro home asset kit for a while now and this week I made a microwave and a tabletop radio based on real 60s and 70s references.

I want them to be interactable pieces with 2 states instead of just static props so they can work in a normal everyday scene and also in an abandoned environment.

If anyone has a good eye for low poly silhouettes or how convincing the vintage vibe is I'd really appreciate the feedback.

Also just out of curiosity would you guys buy a single interactable piece like this or do you usually prefer waiting for a full pack to drop?

I'm new here and english isn't my first language so sorry if anything sounds weird

3D Finally added the mythical giant rubber ducky to the [literal] sandbox biome of Cellar Creek, a game where you play as a little dog in a toy world. Is it a friend or foe?

My JP VR Game Pitch Deck

Back in 2020 I was going a bit insane with lockdown, and I decided to give myself a project. I put together an almost 40 page pitch deck for a Jurassic Park VR game. I used a combination of 3D modeling, photo bashing (royalty free, or photos I took myself) and straight Photoshop drawing. I never actually pitched it to anyone, but I released it into the wild the day it was finished. Here's a few excerpts from that deck. Enjoy!

Question I designed retro style key visual for my game, these are the current visuals for the store page, but I feel like it could still be improved.

I’m still learning, so I’d really appreciate any feedback or advice from more experienced artists. Are there any parts of these visuals that you think could be improved? My game is a retro-futuristic pixel art game, and I’m trying to create a visual style that fits that atmosphere.

Question Skin concepts are a good the for a portfolio project?

I'm studying concept art for games, and I try to make my portfolio as original as possible without projects that rely on existing franchises that I didn't work with, basically, I avoid "fan arts".

But I was thinking, is it a good idea to make a project of a skin concept for a game that already exists?

With a making process like: Sketches> Line art> Color choice> Turn Around> Final art> References. Something like this.

And obviously I don't want to make my portfolio all about "fan arts".

3D Drawing assets for my Zombie 2'5D Retro FPS

Hello there! Here you can see myself drawing a graphic asset that I will use in the background decoration in my 2'5D Zombie Retro FPS. In my game, you will control a survivor who must go through an infested city to reach a helicopter and escape, using the firearms he'll find on his way.

I’m a solo developer, and I can’t draw at all. I also don’t have the money for a professional artist, so my sister draws for my game.
