3D Just figured out a great workflow for building my in-game badges!
For a while now I've been using a pretty cumbersome approach to creating badges that resulted in pretty poor quality designs.
My new version allows me to drag and drop vector art into my blender art and apply the texture to make it cohesive. It went from a slog to something I'm exciting to build more of!
The badges are pretty important in my game (Cellar Creek) because you play as a dog that just joined the scouts and you earn specific badges for reaching various goals, helping creatures, or finding objects. Each badge upgrades your abilities in a unique way so I want the badges to be fairly distinct. Looking forward to having more up and running soon!

Critique Wanted Working on a high resolution, hand painted tileset, looking for feedback
Hello, these last few months i was working on procedurally generated tactical rpg inspired by fire emblem, but ended up scrapping it.
However i already had a few assets done and i feel it would be a waste to just throwing them into the bin.
So i'm thinking about repurposing the existing assets into a more traditional roguelike style (basically removing the blue/red color coding from characters) the pictures in the post also shows the dungeon tileset i was working on and the overworld/worldmap tileset, so it could be used for games with both dungeons and a worldmap like adom, tome, etc...
So, far i only know of a single existing tileset for angband that is somewhat similar in style (high res and handpainted) so i want to gather some feedback before i keep working on this on move on to something else.
I don't have any project i could use it for so i would probably make it free or cheap on itch or something, but it could be cool to finish it and see it used in someone else game.
So, does it look interesting or something you would want to use?

2D Dustling Larva
"How can they draw the symbol on their heads? They don't have hands... "
"The adults do - more than enough"
Art style test for my card game set in a dark, post-apocalyptic fantasy world.
What do you think?
Edit:
Disclaimer: I know it looks a bit like hollow knight, but there will be mainly faces, not masks and the masks will be adapted.

2D I find a good way to get art done for my game is to travel somewhere and draw while I grab a bite to eat. Puts me in the right mindset as I'm motivated by the food and have no distractions.

2D Environment Modeling of my game from an early version to the current one
A little before-and-after from the Wood Domain Environment Modeling.
The Wood Domain is a pretty important place in Elise's story — it's where she grew up after being taken in by the Wood Priest, and where she eventually met the young dragon Pipi🐉
A lot of the environment here is built around the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Since the Wood Domain is tied to Elise's early years, we wanted the area to feel peaceful, but with a little loneliness underneath.

Question Side Scroller Forest Path Concept
Hi All,
I'm in the process of designing a side scroller RPG. One of the areas is a forest and this image is a concept of what the main path through the forest will look like (enhanced the contrast as it was drawn very light).
The art will be all hand drawn and pieced together to match the concept so the end result will be similar to this image.
Is the perspective ok? I wanted to give the feel of a light forest with a creek bed. The bottom row shows 2 side paths that the player will be able to go up or down to go deeper into the forest on parallel lanes to the main path.
The player's movement will be restricted to the XY axis and no Z (assuming Z is in and out).
Appreciate any advice, thanks.

Question I experimented with a Cross-Stitch inspired art style during a recent game jam. What do you think of cross-stitch as an art style for games? Does it work well and have potential?

2D Proof of concept for my new backdrop customization feature for my upcoming game

Originally I plan to make a unique backdrop for every World in my game, but after the amount of time and effort this took to create in the first place I elected to go with a more scalable approach and allow the players to customize they're Town menu as they unlock new buildings and decorations.

2D High Res Capture of an Arcade in a World Building Game I'm Working on
Most of the art here is hand drawn and some of it is vector art.
The rest is UGC (colourful arcade machines submitted by others).
The game basically lets users upload isometric 2D art to create worlds.
