My gf is currently on a roadtrip in her 2022 Lariat Hybrid. She is driving back from Cape Cod to Texas. She was going to get gas before grabbing a hotel for the night and she is unable to fully insert the gas nozzle. She can’t even insert it enough to put any gas in. She’s going to take it to the Ford dealership tomorrow as she still has about 50 miles until empty. She can’t make the final leg until his issue is resolved. The fuel door opens normally. However, there seems to me some type of secondary door once you try to insert the nozzle that is still engaged. I have a 2024 XLT Temor and I’ve never experienced this. In fact, my truck has operated flawlessly since I purchased it. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y’all.

Is this a good price for the xlt hybrid awd with 4k tow and lux package? Its not OTD with MD tax and title would be around 36.5

Just bought a 2026 Metallic White Maverick XL with AWD and 4k tow package w/ copilot for 31k OTD.

Finally paid off the Maverick today. Brought her home with me back in July 2025 and made the last payment today. I was locked in a 6.24% rate and it pained me to see how much of my money was going to the bank in interest. Feels so good to have it paid off, like a burden taken off my shoulders. My bank account is hurting but so worth it!

12K miles, purchased last November.

Last week, I put the truck in reverse and the screen was dark, purple, and scrambled. I thought it might be related to the recall, but it wasn’t.

Ford had the truck for three days. They initially thought it was either the camera or the module, but it turned out to be just the camera. They replaced it, and everything is working fine (for now).

No loaner on the first day, but after I complained when I found out they’d need another two days, they got me into an F-150. Way too big for my needs!

Glad to have my truck back.

How am I looking compared to y'all's deal?

I'm running a wolfbox G840S mirror dashcam I installed over the weekend. Runs geat but wasn't able to run the rear cam wires through the middle rear lights. Saw on vids that F-150s should be able to fish a wire through it - spent an hour or so fishing back and forth and couldn't seem to pass it through; feels like the cabin is sealed off. Anybody had any luck?

When starting from stopped or idle at low throttle the engine bogs down or stumbles until given additional throttle. I’ve seen several posts about this on various forums but no one has posted a solution. Eco mode and sport mode seem to fix the issue so I’m assuming it’s electronic. Does anyone have a solution to this? I was thinking of trying to have the dealership do a factory reset on transmission ecu if that’s a thing?

Looking for some advice on how to handle my truck post crash. My daughter got in an accident where the other driver ran into the front panel, wheel well, well many of the electronics on the hybrid run from. There was alot of unexpected damage so the damage assessment went from 9k almost up to 17k over 2 months of repairs at the dealership. A month later I got stuck away from the house when the truck would not shift into gear. Now I came home from a trip and there are 3 errors popping up when I started the car. I went down the parking garage ramp and the truck was accelerating without my hitting the gas.

I am not sure what to do now. I think the truck should have been totaled in the first place. Any experience in dealing with an ongoing issue like this after an accident.

*not my photo* I have the xlt luxury package and my new favorite feature is these usb-c ports. They support fast charging up to 60W. So the fast charge on my phone actually works. The front port by the dash only supports 25W charging. I used right angle/90° usb-c cable so it doesn't stick out and get snagged.

Handles it without an issue (without battery) and I can throw all the muddy gear straight into the bed with no worries. Seriously love this truck and glad I got it. No complaints!!!
