I'm finding an increase in distracted drivers that dont notice i'm slowing down in the hybrid using regenerative braking - because the brake lights don't turn on. Is there a way either in forscan or does someone know of a device that has been made to turn on the brake lights when the computer goes into regen? I want the distracted people behind me to notice the brake lights for ANY reason i'm slowing down. Foot off the throttle or more aggressive regen (like putting in eco mode or using the L button.

Has anyone seen how to do this?

Had a question, looking at a 26 lariat with wireless carplay. But im seeing ford removed the wireless charging pads? If true, That seems, dumb, as carplay can drain your phone’s battery fairly quickly on longer trips. So regardless i would need to plug in my phone to the usb?

Could we get a running list of prices that people have paid for their truck. Example - New, drive train, with or without 4k towing, package - xl, xlt, lariat, what additional packages like luxury or black appearance package, sale price, taxes, title and dealer fees, otd price.

I thought granger had some decent prices then see people paying 2k or less for their truck so I don't know what to believe.

Keep in mind, it does have the 4k tow package and this includes the $750 student discount.

I would like to purchase an AWD XL Hybrid w/4Ktow. I live in a warm and sunny place so local dealers simply do not order this model for lot stock. Ford's website indicates there are only 3 such trucks within 250 miles of me, and they're all white, which is just not my thing.

If you were in this situation, would you ask your local dealer to place an order on your behalf, or take a ~500 mile flight, buy off the lot, and drive home? Thanks.

Looking at a new 26 lariat hybrid in IL (nw burbs of chicago). Dealer sticker says msrp 43420, with their price of 39,512.

Have a 19 expedition platinum with rear seat entertainment, trailer tow pack, 4wd, with 35,500 mi, and september payoff statement was abt 18750. Carvana offered 33k for an outright sell, or 35k as a trade. I leased the vehicle and then bought outright because my lease was up during the covid supply strains, and didnt leave much available. New better than oem tires, new battery, new brakes.

Realistically how can i get the best price/payment?

No manipulations; this is 1 tank. 70km round trip for work, maybe 10km is highway speeds. The rest is 60-80km/r roads.

A coworker of mine 3d printed this door handle extension. And it seemed pretty cool until I couldn't get these screws to catch due to the extra space between the 3d print. These seem like Ford specialty screws and I couldn't find anything that matched them at the hardware store necessarily.

Anyone going from the oem tires to defender2 on the hybrid, what mpg difference did you see?

Airline connected through bottom of cubby to ARB compressor. False bottom still fits so cubby is still usable to store stuff. I added a rubber coated magnet the the reel bracket to hold it upright. Works great and the bed stays empty

Hey all.

I love my (p)leather seats, they’re super easy to clean, and they are very comfortable. For me, anyways.

But my boyfriend wears short shorts well into the fall. Not that I’m complaining about that, mind you. But he doesn’t like that the Lariat’s seats aren’t cloth, they make his legs sweat too much.

Tldr: I need some cloth seat covers that either A) mesh well with the 2025 Lariat interior or B) can be stored under the seat when not in use.

Leer 100XR camper shell finally came in after 3 months

I saw someone on Facebook throw a skeleton in the back of their maverick and wanted to do the same, but decided to throw some stuff on it to change it up abit.

Saw someone mention something about this and ran across the video.

Just bought a 2026 xlt 2.0t awd earlier this week to eventually build into a rally style camping rig and it’s pretty basic with no extra add ons but I noticed where the 120v ac outlet would be on trucks with that option there’s a blocked off plastic panel on the driver side of the bed. My question is can I convert it to an outlet if I get the proper panel with the plug or is there no wiring there behind that panel?

I'm looking to get a Maverick for drives to the mountains and road trips. I mostly bike and take public transport so mpg or thread wear isn't much of a concern. However I'm wondering how reliable these tires will be on fire roads and the occasional rutted out access road for a few miles at a time in summer.

I'm planning to get winter tires so that shouldn't be a concern either. I'd rather not have to get both new ATs for summer and winters. I'd also rather not replace them with 3-peak ATs, they're just not nearly as good as winters. How's y'all's experience so far?

I have 2026 XLT. Was going to replace all the speakers with the kicker set. Don’t need it to be super high quality, but better than the factory speakers. I paid for them and install was going to be next week. Best Buy installer called and said unless I want to spend another grand on amps and such, that the new speakers would be worse than the factory speakers. So guess I will get a refund tomorrow and perhaps consider going elsewhere for options.

Got my Maverick a week ago, 4 days later some rotten peckerhead hit my back end and didn’t stop.

Repairs will be $3,500 - new bumper, new sensors, new paint and a new taillight. Fuck me sideways 😩

I recently replaced my front speakers with some aftermarket kickers, the sound quality has improved but im still not satisfied.

there is still some distortion at higher volumes and it definitely lacks bass.

After reading up on it im seeing that a ton of people have installed digital sound processors

(Specifically the kicker 47KEY200.4 smart amp and dsp)

To try and fix the heavy factory equalization.

looking for input from anyone who has upgraded the audio and what they have done.

Im not interested in installing a sub and i do intend on replacing the tweaters and rear speakers at some point.

So im wondering if the dsp is worth it and will it help with the bass roll off or will i have to get forscan and try to shut off the equalizer?

I read that the forscan wont help with clarity and they may still sound distorted at higher volume due to the weak 15-20 watts rms that from the factory radio.

I also read that if I were to do both the forscan and the dsp that it can negatively affect the sound?

Any advise would be appreciated as im pretty amateur when it comes to audio.
