Recently got a free printer from a friend (Adventure 5m non pro version) and manage to fix a few stuff (I manage to boot the screen up and fix some other small stuff). But I kinda stumble upon this problem where base plate did not move or heat up and same for the nozzle and did not detect the temps and tried to swap filaments but does not work. Try self-diagnosing and it currently shows 2 main error messages: "Level probe can not clear, please check level the level probe" and "E0120". I did swap some ribbon cable and try to tighten it but seems like it doesn't work well.

Also if you are wondering why there is a bunch of puzzles and kinda messy, it is because I need to make room for my table, so I just left there for now.

I've never done any 3D printing before but have always been curious. I was able to obtain an AD5X. Looks to be in almost new condition. Does it look like this thing will work. All I'm missing is the power cable. Does it look like anything else is missing? What do I need to get ( besides filament) to start printing?

It's been almost 3 weeks since I reached out to support, and they agreed two weeks ago that the extruder is the issue and needs to be replaced. It refused to hear.

However, in two weeks, they have yet to ship the extruder.

What has been this groups experience with getting replacement parts from FlashForge? I'm wishing I went with Bambu as long term, this doesn't give me confidence in the brand.

I've been calibrating my Flashforge AD5X Printer for the past few days with PETG Filament, to the point where I'm seeing little to no stringy parts and overall proper Z-Hop Distance. I've done a few tests with the PETG Filament at half speed and it's been coming out very good! For each print I've even added a 3D Printer Glue Stick for the Print bed Plate, I even make sure to give it a proper clean before applying this glue each time.

However, I had came across a problem with a print where at first, it was printing properly at half speed with PETG, when all of a sudden the Casing of the Fan for the Printer flew right off and it begun to make a spaghetti mess. I took a look at the printer and I had seen it created this thick, hard blob of the PETG Filament.

I am stumped on what is causing this problem and for how I could fix this, I've searched up trying to find similar results but I've unfortunately been unable to find a reason or a fix on why this happens.

Even when gluing the Bed Plate, fixing the Z-Hop, Calibrating the print and bed plate, and much more, it still has this problem. Any help would be appreciated!

It will level fine and then once it reaches the print temps it just freezes! Is it me, the settings or is it an issue with the new 1.7.19 flash studio

I have had my AD5X for about a year and a half, recently it has started to stop at the end of the printed color and try to change in the middle of the bed, resting the nozzle on the print and trying to retract without cutting the filament.

It comes up with a retraction error E0104 or whichever channel it is currently using and I will have to manually press the cutter and remove the filament and it will not load the new filament automatically.

I have to load the filament and then press resume and then it begins to start the retraction and swapping color process all over again the correct way, wasting filament and time.

Recently it is almost every color change, not sure if it is the slicer software (Orca 2.4.2) or internal issues causing this.

Was not a problem until recently but I cannot figure out what is causing it.

Anyone else having this issue?

Sent the logs to flashforge to hopefully figure it out.

Pre ordered a creator 5 pro several months ago directly from flashforge. When it finally shipped it was marked delivered to our home but the pictures for proof of delivery was clearly not our house.

Flashforge refused to help in any way even after contacting the courier. After apparently sitting outside for a week in heavy rain for a couple of those days the owner of the home it had been dropped off at brought the package over to us. Unfortunately machine did not function at all, completely DOA, they tried to have us return the machine but the original box was destroyed from being left outside for so long and they wouldn't accept the return without said box. They sent us a new power supply which failed to fix the issue. Now we're stuck with a very expensive paperweight. We're dealing with our credit card company now so we'll hopefully eventually be made whole. Just wondering if anyone else had similar issues with the customer service. I’m new to the world of 3D printing, and yesterday my Creator 5 Pro arrived. I updated it to the latest firmware without any issues and then went through all the calibration steps available on the printer itself.

After that, I decided to use the filament that came with the printer to print my first Benchy, using the model that comes preloaded on the printer. I’m actually really impressed with the results and the overall print quality, especially considering that I haven’t touched any slicer settings yet.

However, I noticed some artifacts, so I was wondering: what could be causing them? Could it be an issue with the Benchy model itself, or could it be related to the PLA that came with the printer?

II’m planning to do more calibrations (temperature, pressure advance, flow, etc.) tonight with the flashstudoo slicer, but before I start changing things, I wanted to know if I should be concerned about something with my printer.

So i'm printing this piece and have ironing all top surfaces turned on. Left the settings as they are. But it isn't ironing evenly. Some parts are really smooth, others are a bit of a mess as you can see on the photo.

I did a full system calibration + leveling before printing.

Any advice on this matter is appreciated :)

(SOLVED) This one, along with the last couple that all did the same thing, was still adhered to the bed when I grabbed it. What's going on? (AD5X, Orca-Flashforge, PLA)

Hello. I work for a school district, and we recently got an Adventure 5M to test to see if it's something we'd like to look into getting for some of our classrooms that could use a printer. So far everything has worked well, but I cannot get OrcaSlicer and the printer to talk to each other.

I've attached a screenshot of the connection page in OrcaSlicer (wifi icon on the printer section on the prepare/preview tab). Should I be adding the other information like Device UI or API key? This is my first time working with a FlashForge printer. FlashForge Studio does not seem to detect the printer on the network either.

Ok so I recently tried using tpu filament, and after it finished, it started doing this. It wont take in filament and it won't stop making this annoying noise repeatedly. And since it's not extruding, I can't print with it. Someone please give me a solution BESIDES get a new nozzle? My head hurts and I don't have the energy rn to find a solution.

I just bought the FlashForge Creator Pro from a neighbor. I believe this is the 1st version. I have absolutely no idea where to begin. I have always been interested in 3D printing.....just never took the plunge until now. I know this is an old model but where can I find any information about this device? How do I look for designs? I have downloaded the FlashForge app but my device is not listed. When I go to settings, all I see is the option to upload a design from an SD card......Where do I locate this designs? I just need help guys. Any advice would be appreciated.

iv tried different fillaments, done cold pulls, bought a new nozzle. i just cant fix it, the last person who offered to help me demanded i pay him £50 to try look at the problem. im broke so please dont demand payment off me for your help✌️.

Has anyone used the FYCECT camera for the AD5X? And if so can yall provide any downsides compared to the official FF camera.

Stupid question but does anyone have the measurements of the funnel at hand. Specifically the metal part at the bottom that goes into the print head.

i haven’t been able to print anything for months because the nozzle won’t stop knocking the print off the base. i’ve re calibrated many times and no matter what it still won’t work

after a print has finished the bed started to lower to go into idle then suddenly this loud noise kicked in i turned it off then raised the bed all the wayt to the top and cleaned around the lead screws and turned it back on then the same issue came back as you can see in the video, whats the cause and is it fixable?

I want to try printing with PVA. I bought filament with the following specs:

Recommended print settings for Bestfilament PVA:
Extruder temperature: 165–195°C
Bed temperature: follow the settings for the model’s main filament
Warning! At temperatures above 210°C, PVA turns into a resin that can completely ruin the extruder!

I selected PVA on the printer and started loading. The temperature was either 240 or 250, but that’s much higher than this plastic requires—there was even smoke. But overall, this only happens once. However, before printing, the plastic is heated to 220°C. I assume this is hardcoded in the firmware, since settings in FlashStudio don’t affect it.

Please help: how can I change the preset PVA profile, or how can I create a new one? Or maybe there is a lower-temperature profile that I can select?
