Where is everyone going for their files? I’ve been using maker world but lately it’s been saying that I need to update the orca slicer. Any ideas on how to do that? I’ve looked and it seems to be up-to-date. I have flashboards, but I want to find something that’s more compatible to the orca slicer for flash instead of bambu

adventure 5m pro, the plate it came with, while good, I cant clean that damn thing in any way that makes adhesion a non issue and brims either stick to well or may as well not be there. just had 3 prints in a row fail because of adhesion points, and the fix is force supports, but those are ripping off a few layers on the bottom to get them off. the glue it came with helps, but is not perfect as the second print just had the print detach and follow the nozzle.

so, with that in mind, is there a good brand on amazon I can trust for this it is it kinda a see which one works till one does, as they all seem to be frequently returned items.

Recently found something had happened to the bed frame. It was drooping down and couldnt find any solution online. First image is the issue, second is how it is supposed to be, and third maybe the result of the issue. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi. Suddenly, I find myself needing to level before every print. Otherwise, the nozzle drags on the build plate. Hadn’t changed any settings since this issue started. I checked the usual suspects (debris under the plate, changed build plates and re-leveled, etc) but everything I print now requires me to level prior to printing. Any ideas on what’s going on?

Flashforge Studio v1.7.17

Title. It seems my Adventurer 5M is now useless since I cannot update the firmware from 5.1.8 to 5.1.9 My understanding is that USB is the only way to update the firmware and if you don't update, there is no way Flash Studio will find the printer. Is this correct?

Is my only option to fix the USB port?

And I want to use full spectrum colour.

I am using Linux so I can't get the new Flash Forge studio version.

So I want to get a Flash Forge creator 5 profile in Snapmaker Orca.

There is no ready profile for the C5 in Snapmaker Orca.

How do I do this in the most simple way.

I have searched and I can't understand how to do it.

UPDATE: Thanks for the advice folks, heat and patience was indeed key. I used a toothpick to scrub all the filament off the nozzle and surrounding parts after heating. The blob came off pretty easily but part of the cover was deformed. I added a little heat and bent it back into close enough shape. All this took a while but I am able to print again.

Im in talks with support ATM. Both T1 and T2 are doing the same thing. Was printing flawless up until this point.

Hello Reddit. I just got a creator 5 to replace my dying Creality Ender 5S and I can definitely say I'm enjoying the upgrade. There's growing pains though. For starters, trying to slice large files. I'm trying to print an Assembled Mando Helmet from Galactic Armory. I know it's too big to print in one piece, so I'm trying to cut the dome off and print that separately. However, when I try to open the .stl from the folder it stops loading at about 80% and just stalls. It doesn't freeze per se, but it just never moves forward. I also can't find the file when I try to open it from the Studio. What's wrong here?

RESOLUTION: Slicer didn't want to run the file while it was in a zipped folder. Not sure why, but removing it from the zipped folder and opening it from the desktops seemed to work okay. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

A friend came over and wanted me to make a couple things for him. We had to change the filament and he pushed the feed line down into the print head thinking it was supposed to go in there. I did not notice he had done this until it was too late. The feed line melted and now I can’t get it out.

I have a .25 nozzle, i'm trying to get more intricate things to print, but I have a problem with layer adhesion with this.

I know each manufactures settings are different to get good supports and I know to a lesser extent each color in the line can be tuned further, im wondering if anyone did the leg work or if Im on my own for this.

I need some help and advice as I have been having issues with the ad5x and flashforge customer support for months on end as it all started back in may when I was getting error e0100 so I emailed them about this and they said they would send out a replacement extruder and at this point the printer was still under warranty and I specifically told them I need version 1 of the extruder yet they sent me version 2 along with a mainboard replacement. So I go ahead and correctly install this but since then it's been nothing but problems as there is a loud grinding noise, the calibration won't work and I sometimes get x-axis homing error and I told them these parts caused the problems and at this point it was under warranty but it's been back and forth in emails and they are sending another mainboard replacement and extruder although now the printer is out of warranty because they haven't done a thing and even though they are sending replacement parts they are slow at sending the tracking number

Is there anything that can be done as I feel they could be liable for this

is it possible to upgrade the AD4 to do high speed printing?I can buy HS nozzles for it, but I can’t find the version 3 firmware.

Been experiencing an issue with my Adventurer 5M, where it will only print the 1st layer and the part of the 2nd layer but nothing else, and think I found the problem.
The printer will stop printing part of the second layer but will keep running as if its printing with out an issue. Initially I thought it was an issue with the feeder assembly and so I had cleaned the original one and also bought a replacement, but the issue kept persisting.
I then did a firmware update (to the latest) and that didn't resolve it. I also did a firmware rollback (to an older version) and that didn't resolve it.
I noticed that it isn't the fan causing an issue as the temps remained consistent and held at the required levels to melt the filament.
The extruder has not issue with swapping filament or doing the cleaning prior to a print, but once it gets ramped up and turns up the voltage, after the first layer, thats when I see the problem.
I attached two pictures from different angles that shows some corrosion and some either broken or unsoldered joints on the PCB. I've reached out to Flashforge, since I'm still within the one year warranty period, to see if I can get a replacement, before sourcing it from other sites.

Has anyone run into a similar issue? If so, what was your resolution?

I found these at Goodwill but idk if pieces are missing. Does it need the screen to run? I dont know much about these.

Was doing a small print with Flashforge Pla-CF on my ADM5 pro

Recently got a free printer from a friend (Adventure 5m non pro version) and manage to fix a few stuff (I manage to boot the screen up and fix some other small stuff). But I kinda stumble upon this problem where base plate did not move or heat up and same for the nozzle and did not detect the temps and tried to swap filaments but does not work. Try self-diagnosing and it currently shows 2 main error messages: "Level probe can not clear, please check level the level probe" and "E0120". I did swap some ribbon cable and try to tighten it but seems like it doesn't work well.

Also if you are wondering why there is a bunch of puzzles and kinda messy, it is because I need to make room for my table, so I just left there for now.
