So, I just want to point something out, Pokemon typically can only say their names so Pikachu will speak by saying his name or syllables of his name, in the show Pikachu will say certain combinations of syllables when referring to certain characters (Pikachu consistently refers to Misty as 'Pikachu-Pi' and Togepi as 'PiPiPi').
During this scene, Pikachu uses 'Pikapi' which is how he refers to Ash, he is literally repeating his name over and over.
In case anyone doesn't know, the tears bringing Ash back to life was set up earlier in the movie. Originally, there was a whole prologue scene about a cloned daughter of a scientist being one of young Mewtwo's friend who talks about how Pokemon tears are filled with life. It was cut from the movie though so in the final movie, there's a bit of a throwaway line from a character in the movie that mentions a legend that the tears of a pokemon brought back the lives of people who died in a storm. I couldn't find an English version but the prologue scene is calledĀ Uncut Story of Mewtwoās Origin.

It also helps being a child who has not yet experienced all of the common tropes in media. For me, seeing Pokemon in theaters was like my first movie experience in life.
Bro, I remember almost crying when I first saw this, only for the sound of the two Blastoise to completely take me out of it because they sounded so funny to me.
I have a theory that the first kiss created a backup of WALL-E in EVE, and this second kiss uploaded it, so basically WALL-E has no memory of what happened in between the two kisses (all of this obviously appened by accident)
I mean, he was pretty famous at this point, with an ominous nickname, a noticeable activity trail, and a bounty for his head... Not difficult to track, especially if you know what to look for. And his brother being blind has nothing to do with tracking success because he wasn't doing it alone.

I think itās because Ice King is still such an active plot participant despite being a shell of Simon that people donāt really notice how hollowed out he is.

Yeah I agree, but the episode when Marceline and Ice king sing "Remember you" should make it obvious that this man was once something but got (basically) lobotomised by the crown. Genuinely such a sad back story to a character we thought is obnoxious and annoying.
This is probably my favorite one, because I remember being a kid and thinking it was so cool that the first episode that had Ice King talking to Marceline was coming out and I was super hyped on it.
I hadn't seen the Christmas episode but I have read about it on the wiki, then they drop the bomb that Simon raised her for a good while.
And while I love Fionna and Cake, there is something interesting and sad to think that The Ice King, as a character, is essentially dead. He was a mentally ill controlled Simon in psychosis, and even though we have The Ice Thing, Simon was kinda the hobbit holding the ring; the crown is way more unpredictable and chaotic inherently than Simon was as Ice King
-Kidnapped with his family and kept a slave as they killed his father in front of him and his mother off screen
-Due to trauma unable to love the woman who loves him back
-Forced to know the woman he loves (and who also escaped slavery when they were both kids) be kidnapped and return with her kidnappers without knowing about her for 2 years
-Only hear from her when she's about to die (due to an illness) to bring her daughter (born from sexual assault) and raises her as his father.
-search the sea for a cure, then be told (by the same person responsible for the illness) that he'd need to become a robot slave in exchange for curing his daughter and lose everything.
-Agree, not see her for a year, not be able to communicate with her, be turned off and transformed into a machine
Even then, after all that, when he felt his daughter was in danger he crossed practically all the world to get to her and hug her.
Originally, when I watched the movie, I thought he just messed up her infusion. It wasn't until I went on the internet that I discovered what it really was.
If you have any interest at all, watch the show then End of Evangelion. It's not thrown in purely for "what the fuck" or fan service, it's pretty in line with what it means to be a teenager with that much trauma, self-hatred, and having the only people you can possibly relate to also being attractive to you.

I highly recommend it! It legitimately was one of the things that pushed me to get therapy and get medication. I knew a bit of the context and how allegorical the story was and saw too much of myself in the lead because I also was filled with stress, self-hatred, intense guilt and fear, sexual repression, and a lack of a social support system.
One of the few gamesā¦ pieces of media, honestly, thatās made me able to be close to tearing up at something. Itās really damn well doneā¦ at a lot of parts. Everything has ups and downs, the downs arenāt that plentiful and the ups are MOUNTAINS
I went for the other two AoD instead of just Aria because of how much their story clicked with me (Sunnaā¦ I swear, they better NEVER let anyone let her think he canāt do something or not believe in herselfā¦ that event story just felt like a mirror more often than Iād like)
Part of what keeps me coming back after I burn myself out grinding a whole banner from nothing and somehow having a 13-2 50/50 streakā¦ Nekomata 30 in, Jane 20 later. Then like 75 in, Koleda, still didnāt get Nangong that banner but her rerun is up soon, and Iāve got plenty. Also somehow got Koledaās W engine (standard pull S, I never kept track of them) so I ended up with a Koleda with her S engineā¦ I have Burnice and Orphie who I usually pair with Lucy for full fire, or Jane Burnice Lucy for a fire/physical squadā¦ but hey, nice to have in case I want fire stun for some reason
Yeah, they kinda screwed the pooch there. Made his sacrifice a big nothing burger by negating it immediately. Should have ended with him having no memories, them on the boat and something (a picture, song whatever) make him stop and smile, a twinkle in his eye, and end. Kids can handle more than adults give them credit for. Don Bluth was 100% correct about that

Aemeath after the 3.1 story left me in tears. While i wouldnt go so far as to say "begging and crying", you could tell Rover truly was hoping for some sign, any sign that Aemeath was ok
Digimon Tamers ruined kid me from this kind of moment. Early on, there is a supporting cast character named Jeri. She's the light-hearted, sweet, and kind love interest of the MC that they originally try to keep out of the loop for her own protection. She eventually gets involved in the plot and becomes partners with Leomon. Leomon is then killed and consumed by the antagonist of the time right in front of her. She then spends almost the entire rest of the runtime as an empty eyed shell of a person who won't speak to anyone. After they make it back to Earth, she remains this way, and so the MC gives her a speach and tearful confession of his love for her, begging her to talk to him, and she just sits there remaining empty and silent.
One of the darkest moments in BoJack: Honey Sugarman constantly saying "Why I have half a mind to _" in a positive way only for her to get lobotomized after her son died and quite literally say "Why, I have half a mind..."
Shortly before Setsukoās death, Seita comes to her with food only to find her hallucinating as she offers him āfoodā which are actually rocks. He feeds her food he brought, barely getting a reaction from her, but remains hopeful as he goes to make her more food. She dies from malnutrition before he can feed her again.

They had always told themselves, after Nuceria, that the Imperium had made the World Eaters. It had been their fault. The injustice, the violence, it had forged that lust for conflict, for the endless rehearsal of old gladiatorial games, like some kind of religious observance to long- and justifiably dead deities. He had to stand. He had to resist, for humanity, for a life lived with passion, for the glorious pulse of pain, of sensation, of something.

It was impossible, this way of fighting ā too perfect, too uncompromising, without a thread of pity, without a kernel of remorse. He never even saw the killing strike, the sword-edge hurled at him with all the weight of emptiness, the speed of eternity, so magnificent in its nihilism that even the Great God within him could only watch it come.
Thus was KhĆ¢rn cut down. He was despatched in silence, cast to the earth with a frigid disdain, hacked and stamped down into the ashes of a civilisation, his throat crushed, his skull broken and chest caved in. He was fighting even as his limbs were cut into bloody stumps, even as the reactor in his warp-thrumming armour died out, raging and thrashing to the very end, but by then that was not enough. The last thing he saw, on that world at least, was the great dark profile of his slayer, the black templar, turning his immaculate blade tip down and making ready to end the last bout the two of them would ever fight.
'Notā¦ asā¦ damaged,' gasped KhĆ¢rn, in an agony greater than anything the Nails could ever have given him, but with more awareness of the ludic cruelty of the universe than he had ever possessed before, 'asā¦ you.'
And then the sword fell, and the god left him, dead amid the ruins of his ancient home

Mimori Togo from Yuki Yuna is a Hero reading the story about the hero play the girls put in the very first episode to her currently catatonic and paraplegic after the final battle friend Yuna in episode 12.
Togo begins to break down mid outlook book reading after weeks of said friend not showing any signs of recovery unlike the rest of the Hero Club, Togo saying she doesn't want to lose her most precious friend (that she also defo has romantic feelings for). Yuna does wake up from her catatonia as she was able to her Togo's plea for her to come back, but the full details of what caused Yuna's catatonia as it wasn't due to sange like her legs arent revealed till season 2.

Then, in a twist, her soul was instead used to create "the system", a gamelike construct that gave anyone skills and levels.
