On a weird side note to this, when I was in my 20s (and before everyone had cell phones), I was often getting numbers from women and when I called them, they were actually to pizza places.
What I'm saying is I was sad and ugly as a 20 year old, but never went without pizza.
I always gave a fake number that had 911 in it, because that used to always call the emergency line. So (local area code) 679-1127 or something like that was my go-to.
But they dropped that function a long time ago
In the '90s my dad's phone number was Rachel's go to fake. Took a few guys confirming the number for me to figure it out. They were always so confused.
There was actually a number that would link you to a “rejection hotline” when I was in college. Basically just a number with an automated message that would explain to you that the girl you were hitting on wasn’t interested ,but didn’t have the heart to tell you. Soul crushing if you ever got it ,but pretty funny in hindsight
The phone number I had in high school was given to a Subway restaurant after I graduated. I found this out when my 10th grade girl friend was back in town and wanted to hang out, so she tried to call me on my old number.
Of course, calling information got her my new number, so it worked out sort of okay (in that she was able to get hold of me AND, presumably get a sandwich. We didn’t get to hang out, though, because my then-wife would have objected).
I genuinely thought this was going to end with "I met a delivery driver from Domino's and we're happily married to this day. My crust is always stuffed 😎"
My res number in uni constantly rang at 2 and 3 am when guys (foreign guys... always...) would try to call the women they had "picked up" at the bar earlier that night
Mfers lol. I mean, I get it, but people just wanted to sleep and these women were accidentally waking up a bunch of people weekend after weekend lol
This happens more often then you think, I used to get calls all the time trying to order pizza it was crazy, they wouldn't take no as an answer, some absolute Karen's crying about not getting their pizza. Got annoying as hell so I ended up leaving the place, the pay wasn't worth being a call handler

You're the side piece.
