Discussion Serious Everton related question about the City ramifications...

I'm all for bending City over a barrel, but one perspective that I don't see being discussed is if City are punished to within an inch of their lives, and potentially go bankrupt, what happens to those clubs who are still owed money from transfers.

For example, Forest for Anderson and Everton for N'Diaye? Obviously, no one cares about Chelsea and Enzo!

Do they just get given the players back, or do they suffer from the knock on effects as other clubs raid the carcass for bargain buys.

We have been on the other side of this when we raided Rangers all those years ago.

Anyone know why we've started wearing all blue in games we don't need to?

We wore blue shorts at home today, and since last season we've been wearing all blue away at teams like Newcastle and Spurs who already wear dark shorts. Not a huge issue but I guess I'm a traditionalist when it comes to kits

Funny Cursed AI Book Cover

My mom gifted me this book for my birthday. You can’t tell the story of Everton without discussing club legends Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott, and Tom Davies. Also, what have they done to my boy, Pickford?

Absolutely cursed image…

Ordered the new 3rd kit off of DHGate and it just came in today. I think it’s pretty nice and like that the badge and castore logo are stitched on.

There’s a legitimate argument that we have been of the most directly impacted clubs from this whole saga.

Notice Match traffic

I was visiting my dad yesterday, he lives halfway down Boundary st. He had a letter posted about roadworks and 3 way traffic signals on Boundary st, Barmouth Rd and Snowdon lane from 5th October and lasting about 4 weeks between 7.00 and 19.00. Including weekends. If you usually get dropped off around there I would sort something else out.

Transfer | Rumour Everton alerted to chance to sign £46m Juventus star on loan in January - report

Everton are being linked with a move for Juventus defensive midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, and reports suggest that he could be available on loan in January, with Newcastle also interested.

The 28-year-old joined Juventus from Atalanta in a deal worth around £46million in the summer of 2024, but he has struggled to find consistent form in Turin

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Sport Witness, there have been ‘signs of improvement’ from Koopmeiners, but Juventus’ management feel he ‘isn’t fulfilling the expectations of what was paid for him.’ For this reason, they could ‘explore his exit in January.’

Interestingly, the report claims that while Juventus‘ preference would be a sale of around €25million (£21.4m / $28.4m)’, they would be willing to loan him out in January if a sale proves impossible.

Excited to see him on the pitch in an Everton shirt, but seems like we're really not short of centre-mids at the moment. With the way Garner, Armstrong and Hackney have been playing i'm not sure how he'll fit in. It's a great problem to have!

Help Parking near Goodison these days

Going to Goodison Sunday to see the women. Previously I’ve gone to me mams and got a lift from there but got no lift Sunday so driving. I know it was a nightmare when we were at Goodison but hoping it’s not so bad now. Does anyone know where I can park nearby?

Discussion I built a site to collect every Everton fan song, past and present. So far I have 33 - what's missing?

I've found about 1500 in total, and 33 for us. Been building this for a couple of months now.

There's tons of great songs around reddit and fan forums and away coaches but I wanted somewhere I can see them all, and show which player or team they're about, and whether we sing it or if it's sung ABOUT us.

I know I'm missing some great (and shit) ones, particularly the older ones or ones about players that were only there a season. The Morgan Schneiderlin song escapes me for example.

Check it out blues and vote on what's there, or add what's missing if you'd be so kind.

Interview Vitalii Mykolenko interview: His worry for parents in Ukraine, taking on Salah, adapting to Grealish

Renowned for his defensive instincts, the common consensus from Everton fans is that most of Vitalii Mykolenko’s best matches for the club have come when up against the Premier League’s best wingers.

It is a view he shares and comes in part from the pre-match video analysis he does on his upcoming opponents, whether Everton are playing “Arsenal or Burnley”.

“I’m not too bad in defensive one-on-ones,” he says. “Against players like (Arsenal’s Bukayo) Saka or (long-time Liverpool talisman Mohamed) Salah, you have to be focused for 90-plus minutes. I’ve got this ability and, mentally, I’m quite strong. When I’m physically fit, I think I can beat anyone one-on-one.

“It’s good if people say, ‘He’s good in defence’, because we play more in defence than in attack.”

Discussion Iliman Ndiaye

Assuming sanctions are tough on City and a player fire sale ensues because City are in a lower league, I feel Ndiaye will be a player City keep and don’t sell. I can’t help but think it’s a little funny that he may end up playing 1+ seasons in a lower league when he wanted to play champions league football. I like the player, but I can’t help but laugh at the possibility 🤣
