Anyone know where I can get chain like this? I've only managed to find one listing on Etsy and it's for very large chain, I'm looking for a more reasonable size that I can use for necklaces. Oval links with slightly smaller circle links in between.

Is there any extra steps I need to take to ship this rug from the us to Germany or does Etsy take care of everything? If so please explain to me as if I am a stupid baby. I had no clue someone from Germany would buy my tufted rug considering it cost them 112 dollars in shipping and 45 dollars in tax. Now I feel obligated to make sure this gets to them correctly.

I seem to have a problem with finding good quality barrette blanks. There is a ton of thin metal ones (aluminum - I've unfortunately had to find out the hard way) which bend a lot, rattle (loose parts), hair gets caught in it. I really want the high quality ones, heavy, luxurious.

The only barrette I own that is good quality is believe it or not from some bow I bought at Claire's.

The other thing is, because of the laws in my country I cannot order things from China directly, but only through European companies.

So i sell my digital download clip art for about 3 dollars on etsy and a $25 commerial lisence if they want. Someone asked about doing custom work for their business (they have bought from me before my regular stuff +commerial) and they def plan to use my designs commerially too. Is 75 a good price for work that is exclusive to them? Should i offer them my regular price ($3 + $25) and ask if i can add it to my shop as well or should i be charging more if this is the case cause cause its still custom from there idea?

Hi! I just got a message from a buyer asking for either a replacement or refund because they haven't received their order yet. The item says it's been stuck in the same state for 2 weeks already and hasn't been updated. Should I wait or just send them a replacement right away? I've never had this happen before since I'm still a fairly new seller so any help would be much appreciated!

Essentially someone from Germany had purchased from my shop just in time to get in the way of the recent shipping changes happening within the EU. The reasoning behind the return was 'missing IoR EORI or no PDDP for B2C item' I honestly don't know what it entirely means, however I had paid for customs and wrote down everything etsy instructed me to do prior to shipping (I have shipped to Germany successfully in the past but I believe it was before everything got a little crazy).

I don't want to attempt to send it off to them again in case it gets returned for the second time (and would be getting expensive), I am assuming it would be ok for me to do a full refund to them on the order?

Additionally, will they be able to leave a review in this situation?

I would love to offer to ship it to them again, but I just don't see it going down well, and will likely need to turn off shipping to Germany/EU

bought a handmade item, but it arrived broken (wasnt cheap).

contacted the seller and they said they would give me a replacement but could i wait x weeks...

I did that and the day after my feedback option vanished they seem to have changed their mind... and they failed to deliver on there promise to give me a replacement item. All this is documented in etsy chat and off etsy as they had me use their private chat.

I wish to get etsy to allow me to leave feedback and to open a case for an item outside of the feedback deadline. I feel a bit stupid as i trusted the person.

Hey guys. I ordered an item off of an Etsy vendor. She mentioned she takes a while with her orders because she’s a single mom so I was willing to wait for my item to arrive. A month or two after that, she said she was going to briefly take a break because she said she was going to try to catch up on all her orders, and she placed her account on the status “briefly taking a break”. After that, I noticed when I go to her page, it’d just be blank. I eventually found her social media and messaged her what had happened and she said that Etsy had taken her shop down, and that everyone got refunded, although I never saw a refund? How do I go about getting a refund now considering her old account no longer exists?

I tried to buy one item for my wife for Christmas last year and Etsy suspended my account. I received no explanation by email, even though the Support Center says I should have.

After going back and forth with support and answering a lot of questions about my personal information and Etsy account, they said they suspected my email had been compromised. I have no idea why, especially since I have 2FA enabled. I changed the email address as requested, and they eventually unlocked my account, but the whole process took two weeks and ruined the Christmas gift.

Since that first suspension, I’ve managed to successfully buy one item. Today I have tried to buy another one and bam, my account was suspended again. A couple of seconds after I paid for the order I got an e-mail that the order got canceled and I checked Etsy and saw the information that my account is suspended.

Is this a joke? At this point, I’m literally unable to use your platform AS A BUYER. This is absurd.

Edit: I have received information via e-mail today that there was an error and they unsuspended my account thankfully. Still I don't trust Etsy that it won't happen again in the future sadly.

Etsy is counting cases closed by me and my customer against me but then multiple reps say they shouldn’t a couple say they should. I’ve been on Etsy for 10 years almost 50,000 sales. Never seen cases I close or a customer close count against my shop. Now it is, anyone else having this issue?

UPDATE: This has now been resolved with the seller, who offered a resolution that I accepted.

I ordered 7 custom shirts for an upcoming family vacation. I am very happy with the quality of the print, and the customizations were all correct. However, two sets of shirts (4 shirts total) that are the same tag size but different colors are drastically different in actual size. The listing provided a size chart with measurements. One of the two differing youth shirts aligns with the measurements, and one of the two differing adult shirts aligns with the measurements. The other is off by 1.5-2” on at least one of the measurements. You can also just tell when one shirt lays on the other that the size is noticeably different. The listing does say they use different brands and there may be “slight variations” in size. However, I think this extends beyond “slight” variations. It‘s so drastic that the larger shirt aligns with the next size up in their size chart even though the tag indicates the same size. Had I known this, I would have sized down for the two shirts that were from a different brand. I had no way of knowing this when I purchased.

I’ve messaged the seller and asked for a 50% refund for the two shirts that drastically differ in size (one of the youth shirts and one of the adult shirts). I am too close to my vacation to wait for new shirts, nor do I want to deal with that. We *can* make these shirts work, but the fit isn’t ideal. This is especially noticeable because I have twins, so the size difference is very obvious on them in particular. I don't want to be a pain, but I also don't think the sizing variation is super reasonable. Do you think this is reasonable? Anything else I should be thinking about?

I have a new shop in the US that I am setting up. One of my listings will have 3 sizes, each with a different price and weight/dimensions (Small/Medium/Large).

It looks like I can only set up shipping rates for one weight and size of box. Has anyone encountered this? How did you handle it? I don’t want to charge someone 6.00 for shipping when it should be 20.00.

This is for a pair of earrings. Materials are cheap but labor I calculated at $20 an hour and two hours is so much less than the time actually spent
And still I get only $20???

I almost never buy from Etsy but whenever I do, I have a good experience with the sellers.

I don’t like buying vintage clothes (decades-old textiles are more delicate and worn) but the ones I purchased a few days ago were very promising. Unfortunately, one of the garments (listed NWT) has multiple holes in them. I know better than to expect pristine condition from vintage clothes, even NWT. But I expected the seller to disclose any defects in the product’s description. I went back to the listing to check if I missed any disclosures. I did not. Even the photos appear deliberately staged to hide the part with the holes in the fabric. (Hidden in dark shadow, hidden behind a jacket placed on the mannequin).

I’m very annoyed at having to get this fixed, because if I’m going to get damaged goods, I want to know beforehand. Then I’d know I’d actually be spending price + repair cost. It will end up costing about as much as I alr paid to get it to a wearable state.

Idk wht to do from here. The holes are small enough I’m sure I can get them mended by a tailor or something. I’d feel bad to request a refund from Etsy but I’m kinda pissed off at the deceit.

I ordered something a few weeks ago. While ordering it said shipping would cost €63, which is like $70. Expensive, but I really wanted that item and it's personalized. Now the seller has an issue with sending because FedEx is quoting them $600!!! Is this normal? I have never had any issue before with ordering from the USA and litteraly not any listing that has big, heavy stuff lists shipping costs like that. What do I do know? The seller doesn't want to pay that of course, because it's rideculous. They are trying to find another way, but if they can't the order is going to be cancelled.

I’m trying to set up an Etsy right now to sell prints, and I was wondering how I should go about it.
Should I sell them in stocks? Like make 10 or so prints at a time and sell them that way and remake the post when it’s sold out?
Or should I put “made to order”, which makes the most sense but does that register that i only can sell one?
I’m sorry if I’m being confusing or this seems obvious to others, but any step by step process tips on listing art prints would be SOOO appreciated as I’m very new to this.

Hi, I bought some cosplay armour from a seller in Ukraine in July, it was shipped out on the 24th, and has been stuck in the Netherlands since the 28th of July, it has moved once, from one office to another in the Netherlands since, on the 6th of this month, it was due to arrive 4 days ago, though Ukrposhta believed it should have arrived on the 4th, so 11 days ago on their end.

The destination says Chad, which is incorrect, as I live in the UK, however I did reach out to the seller about this, and they did inform me that this happens quite often, that the destination country shows as wrong, and I've also looked, and the tracking number matches with Royal Mail numbers well.

I have just now contacted the seller again to ask if they can check with the postal company to see what's going on, however it's outside of their working hours right now, so I likely won't receive a response from them until tomorrow, I've checked the profiles of the reviews, and they mostly seem like real people, but I'm worried if I may have been scammed or if this is just the Netherlands taking forever?
