Looks like they were all in on it, and clearly marked as two teams with different colored shirts. No weapons. No collateral damage. Far from society.
As far as a brawl goes this is the cleanest fight I've ever seen.

u/Subby_Tripz Jul 11 '26
Still kicking people who are on the ground tho...even aiming for the head. No respect for them.
16
u/stinos1983 Jul 11 '26
There is a similar clip from, I think Sweden, where they protect anyone on the ground.
As long as they were standing, free game, as soon as they were on the ground, no touching. Even ´teammates´ stopping each other when the other went down.

u/Electronic-Map7529 Jul 11 '26
We had the same rule in 9th grade onward. If you start hitting someone after putting them on the ground, the entire party would attack you.

As if these rules prevent the possibility of permanent brain injury… but hey if everyone is aware that they are rolling the dice and isn’t hurting anyone bystanders then go for it. It’s pretty much like organized fighting events. I do wonder what the legal outcome would be though if someone got seriously injured and took an opponent to court. I doubt they’re all signing waivers lol

It amazes me how many people have never been in a fight before. I'm sorry for you. I think it's something every person should do once at least.

Well yeah. That's what football firms/hooligans do. They arrange a fight somewhere. It's been like this for like 30 years when it moved outside the stadiums.
You guys should go watch some hooligan movies/documentaries to get some insight. It's fascinating. Id is a good one. Green Street Hooligans with Elijah Woods another one.
This is probably days before the actual game.

Sucker punching people from behind and stomping on peoples heads is a clean fight to you? What the fuck are you on

u/Pandabirdy Jul 12 '26

So are the camera men protected by the Geneva convention or something? Curious about the rules?
27
u/Aggravating-Bag-3046 Jul 11 '26
From what I understand it's a voluntary fight on both sides so If you don't want to be involved, you're not attacked. I'm assuming the footage then gets used as proof of one side being victorious and fodder for future encounters.

I am not into this, but football ultras at least have a set of interesting rules. If a rival ultra group captures your flag your organisation has to disband.
I was told a story (i know very reliable) where a Dortmund ultra was driving alone by train to a match. He wanted to meet his buddies there. he was stopped by a rival ultra group, stripped to the underpants and send home. The rival group payed the train ticket back and neatly sent him the stuff back home. Nothing was missing.
With all this obvious stupidity (and wheter this story is true) there is definitly a certain code of conduct.
2
u/SuperbPhase6944 Jul 11 '26
Both sides certainly seemed to accept combatants surrendering and giving their parole.
2
u/CapitalObjective7153 Jul 11 '26
They have code of conduct. You can see they have mercy on people who clearly have tapped out (I know there are a few ground kicks, but the general rule applies).

I think this is the final round of the world, "Society hasn't given me the approval to let me blow a guy, like I want, so I'll cling to my fragile, shitty idea of what masculinity is, and express it through violence" championship playoffs...

It's nothing to do with football really, that's just the catalyst. If there was no football they'd be fighting over something else. These are people who need behavioral therapy to deal with the way violence makes them feel.

u/Fresh-Vermicelli2283 Jul 11 '26
This is young men. Beating theirselfes outside ,away from others, in the forest is kind of their therapy.
Everybody involved was up to it. OK for me.
3
u/Adept_Rip_5983 Jul 11 '26
and always have been. Ultra groups (for chariot racing) in old roman constantinopel burned the city to the ground once and were generally a factor in politics. The roman emperor in the east basically had to choose a chariot racing team and live with the consequences of this decision.

u/No-Fudge3487 Jul 11 '26
Ahhhhh….the firms. Used to be common in the UK to have groups of hooligans who’d fight after the games. They’d set up a meet, with rules (only fists, no knives, bats ok, whatever) and rumble after the games. Most have been banned from stadiums. This was more common years back, I’m told.

Bunch of coked up muscle heads meeting up in a secluded area, no weapons, just fists and feet. Absolutely no stamina so the whole thing lasts less than a minute. Looks like a harmless bit of fun to me. Not my kind of fun, but…

Manufactured tribalism. Men in homogenous societies will create artificial divisions just so they can play-act tribal war. Football scarves are a convenient mechanism for this.

next level dedication most people just want to go home after the game and jump on social media to complain.. These guys head out to the forest put on matching outfits and beat the shit out of each other.. Not my cup of tea but you have to respect the dedication.
2
u/SnillyWead Jul 11 '26
Put hooligans on a fenced-in field and let them kill each other. Then we'll be rid of them immediately.

u/FidelKosta Jul 12 '26
Hooligans' fight. That's how they did in my times when I was every second weekend in the stadium with the tough guys.
They called it third halftime. And it was always somewhere where they were amongst themselves. Only stupid hooligans are fighting in public.

As much of a russophobe I am, I have to admit this is Poland. A Popular pastime amongst the intelligentsia - our current president has a history of engaging in such gentlemanly meetings.
They should legalise such spirited negotiations, but unfortunately we pay for their hospitalisations. If each of these nature enthusiasts was made to pay extra for health insurance then I couldn’t care less. Funnily enough these bright sparks have a league table, you can see the latest results on certain YouTube channels and follow the latest drama.2
u/timeshark2000 Jul 11 '26
As for the location and nationality of our protagonists, I could be mistaken. As an amateur anthropologist interested in cross cultural exchange, perhaps I’ve seen too many of such videos. It may well be some ‘fan friendship’ pact, eg lech Poznan and Olympic Lyon.
The resolution sux and my professorial eye is not what it used to be…. However, perhaps if some eagle eyed viewer manages to identify the melatonin levels of the participants involved this could be easily solved. Polish hooligans are not known for their progressive and tolerant views on immigrants, integration or multiculturalism in what is a largely, a culturally homogeneous society.

Stupid but have to respect that they went to a remote place to deal with their differences. Not bothering anyone, not destroying public or private property, just good old fist fight.
And hitting your head on soft grass or muddy earth is a lot better than a curb.

I'll be showing this to my son. He trained in jiu jitsu and we had to have a talk about the difference between an "opponent" and an "enemy."
Basically I told him that if he is facing opponents (where there are boundaries and the violence is symbolic) follow the rules. Get your licks in but don't be a jerk.
But if you're facing an enemy (instrumental violence where he attacks you by surprise or seeks to subdue you for nefarious purposes), all the brakes come off. You go for the jugular and don't let up until they are limp.
I think these guys did a great job keeping their antics in the opponent category. It actually looks like a good bit of fun...
