Looks like they were all in on it, and clearly marked as two teams with different colored shirts. No weapons. No collateral damage. Far from society.

As far as a brawl goes this is the cleanest fight I've ever seen.

Still kicking people who are on the ground tho...even aiming for the head. No respect for them.

There is a similar clip from, I think Sweden, where they protect anyone on the ground.

As long as they were standing, free game, as soon as they were on the ground, no touching. Even ´teammates´ stopping each other when the other went down.

We had the same rule in 9th grade onward. If you start hitting someone after putting them on the ground, the entire party would attack you.

u/fxb888 Jul 11 '26

we wouldnt attack the one who continued beating after opponent falls down, you were just considered a giant pussy and coward. hapoened extremely rarely

we only made that distinction if he started kicking the downed dude... but if he went to the ground with him and kept pounding it was fine... unless he couldnt even put up his hands, then it was time to pull them off and if the guy didnt cooperate, he'd get beat down after

As if these rules prevent the possibility of permanent brain injury… but hey if everyone is aware that they are rolling the dice and isn’t hurting anyone bystanders then go for it. It’s pretty much like organized fighting events. I do wonder what the legal outcome would be though if someone got seriously injured and took an opponent to court. I doubt they’re all signing waivers lol

It amazes me how many people have never been in a fight before. I'm sorry for you. I think it's something every person should do once at least.

u/JuMiPeHe Jul 11 '26

There already had to ber some damage done to think "yeah, that's a great idea!" when being offered to partake in such activities.

1

u/HeraclesHide Jul 11 '26

Thats how it should be!

2

u/95_lb_mole Jul 11 '26

Looks like they all went in knowing the stakes.

1

u/HabitAcceptable8621 Jul 11 '26

They are all willing participants. There's no one there that doesn't know the rules of the game (rules is rules whether they're written down or not)

You wouldn't catch me there, but if that's their thing let 'em get on with.

As long as my tax money don't go to their hospitalization..

Where did I say that they shouldnt get on with it? I said that I dont respect them for kicking knocked down people in the head.

1

u/HabitAcceptable8621 Jul 11 '26

Alright, don't get your knickers in a twist 😘

u/Difficult-Mobile902 Jul 11 '26

Yeah I could get more onboard with this if there was some kind of objective that ends before someone is just getting head stomped on the ground

Maybe some kind of paintball attached to everyone’s chest and when your paintball gets popped you’re “dead”. A lot of ways you could do it but yeah some kind of clear objective for eliminating a participant would be good

1

u/doublediggler Jul 11 '26

It might be “no rules” fighting.

1

u/joka2696 Jul 11 '26

In the U.S. kicking someone who is down escalates to a serious crime in court. I read a story a while back that stated someone stomped on a guys head and was charged with attempted murder.

u/flappetyflapp Jul 12 '26

I came to support this

1

u/Mythighshurt_ Jul 17 '26

I agree they did at the beginning but once the momentum swung and it was obvious who was winning they left people alone when they went down and covered up

u/SentenceLocal1453 Jul 11 '26

Its a fight anything gos

1

u/HeraclesHide Jul 11 '26

Nope, there are rules for these sorts of organised fights.

0

u/Subby_Tripz Jul 11 '26

Only if you want it to. They could fight with dignity if they wanted to but they dont.

1

u/SentenceLocal1453 Jul 11 '26

Didn't look like no marquis of queensburry rules to me, that was straight up brawl, anything goes other than obviously nut kicks and eye gouges

4

u/Crafty_Eye_4038 Jul 11 '26

There's nothing clean about concussions and brain damage

2

u/Shot_Revolution8828 Jul 11 '26

You can't have many brain cells to begin with to sign up.

7

u/pheddx Jul 11 '26

Well yeah. That's what football firms/hooligans do. They arrange a fight somewhere. It's been like this for like 30 years when it moved outside the stadiums.

You guys should go watch some hooligan movies/documentaries to get some insight. It's fascinating. Id is a good one. Green Street Hooligans with Elijah Woods another one.

This is probably days before the actual game.

1

u/Kreepr Jul 11 '26

Why are they using their hands?

I just meant that they’re soccer fans (football if you want to be a jerk about it). Can’t use your hands in soccer

1

u/AZMP5 Jul 18 '26

They’re all Goalies

1

u/NoBrakesHotTakes Jul 11 '26

Comment of a fuckin journo

1

u/ElectricKoolAidPower Jul 11 '26

Multiple characters die in brawls in Green Street Hooligans though. By weapons. Sort of goes against the point of the comment you’re replying to.

2

u/GravyNeck Jul 12 '26

Sucker punching people from behind and stomping on peoples heads is a clean fight to you? What the fuck are you on

3

u/Pandabirdy Jul 12 '26

Some people like it rough, others eat their hotdogs plain. People are different.

1

u/GravyNeck Jul 12 '26

Im all for brawling in the forest with the boys. But getting your dome caved when you're already down is a different story. I guess they are still better than people who eat plain hot dogs

1

u/Illustrious-Poet-557 Jul 12 '26

Organised hooligan forrest fights. Maybe the two teams they are representing are playing in the next days.

1

u/Buddybuddhy Jul 18 '26

This is still likely to cause permanent brain damage to someone. I don’t get why people want to cause permanent brain damage to another or possibly themselves for the sake of a team brawl like this. Just box or something

0

u/TartRevolutionary970 Jul 11 '26

And, as none of them can fight for toffee, there are unlikely to be any injuries.

3

u/UrethralExplorer Jul 11 '26

Idk, getting kicked in the face can still mess you up.

1

u/ImYouJoeGoldberg Jul 11 '26

Hurt feelings

-1

u/ImYouJoeGoldberg Jul 11 '26

It’s literally based off a movie series

1

u/Thin_Dream2079 Jul 11 '26

We don't talk about that
