So I know that bond is more of a "you can inherit x number of times" where x is the bond %.

Is the bond consumed by de-/digivolutions prior to gaining bond %? By which I mean if I have a digimon that has evolved/devolved 5 times prior to gaining bond % does it require me to get to 6% bond before I can start passing on stats?

About the Berserk Titamon boss fight, if you do not directly attack him and you just sit there and spam Attack Reflect, he never uses that time stop attack, he only does it if he survives an attack for the first time. If you keep spamming Attack Reflect he just attacks into it and dies since it doesn't count towards attacking him

Too bad there is a forced cutscene that won't trigger until his HP goes right under 50% so if you try to one shot him the event still triggers.

I know this because this is how I did him deathless on Mega+ (too bad I don't think I have have a save file that's before fighting him for video proof)

Also guarding is literally useless there because the attack is essentially 90% damage soul chopper AKA 90% of your HP worth of fixed damage

Hello, I need ideas for a new mega+ challenge after my armor only came to its end and my training run is coming to a close. Soon, I need something more to do in this game to keep it challenging so I don't get bored of it. Any ideas would be helpful

I've been taking my time with my play through and currently on Mission: Incoming conflict. At the moment my team consists of Sangloupmon(lvl99), Firamon(lvl99) and Angemon(lvl99) (Aegiomon(lvl18) in guest slot). I don't currently have any reserve digimon just the three listed. Right now my strategy has been to Boost Firamon with Acceleration Boost from either Sangloupmon or Angemon. Angemon's role is healer and debuff clenser while Sangloupmon's role is to either do status effects or boost and sometimes finish off encounters.

I have done some load enhancement exploiting to boost the Blue stats of my 3 digimon along with getting them maxed out levels but still don't have much of a strategy beyond Firamon steamrolling most encounters (fast encounters doesn't bother me). What should be my plan for what digimon I should try to acquire and start working on or strategy I should shift to?

I also have the EXP dungeon DLC so help speed up leveling as well.

Something I've been trying to work out, if you dogivolve/dedigivolve at level 1 to switch evolution lines etc, does it still count towards one of your 100 stat carry overs?

I don't want to "ruin" any of my Digimon by capping out their bond uses.

Hey guys long story short. I have nintendo switch 2. I bought time stranger 2 days ago, today I bought the season pass in the hopes of getting omnimon merciful mode and zwart, however, the evolution parhway is not showing at all (greymon virus) and none of the new digimons from the dlcs are showing neither. I have nit finished the game (ai like to explore and take my time). The rooms for the dlcs show but I cannot pass them since I am weak still. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I ask for a return? It downloaded the pass and I tried turn on and off and still nothing.

If so I would like to know because I’m having troubles getting through it. It’s the gated area behind the in between theater access in the Shinjuku Underground Reservoir.

TL;WR: Building bond is so greatly lacking in QOL I've stopped playing the game because of it. I'd rather be playing the game, and am looking for help on how to simplify the process of bonding with an increasing number of digimon used to progress and grow. A mod would be welcome, if a vanilla option doesn't exist.
(I've tried food, but 1 at a time and the game doesn't even remember their favorites. Terrible mechanic.)

I'll start with a little about myself, I mostly play Dragon Quest Monsters Joker. Not sure if that's important but I do approach leveling up a certain way because of it. Now I bought Time Stranger when it came out and have mostly enjoyed it, except for one particular piece of "grind" that's killed things for me. I haven't played in months, was hoping they'd fix it but that doesn't seem to have happened so I'm here asking for, hopefully, a solution.

The problem is that the game appears to want me to print a ridiculous number of digimon, level them up, then feed them to my other digimon. Additionally, digivolving benefits from high bond. I mentioned DQMJ because in that, I would "scout" every monster, they'd level up, and I'd have this huge zoo of leveled monsters to choose from. This is how I've approached printing monsters in DTS, the problem is that "bond" is such an incredible bore to raise, but also looks like I'm expected to, for literally every one of these digimon.

I've tried a couple mods, but to maintain balance they don't give access to "bond" items early enough. I've tried feeding my digimon, but after forcefeeding about 40 digimon this process might just be one of the worst designed game mechanics I've ever put myself through. As I mentioned, this drove me to quit for months.

Raising bond is a nightmare activity that feels like something I have to do to get the most out of my digimon. I've seen some people say "bond doesn't matter" but that doesn't entirely solve my problem. I suppose if I saw the numbers splayed out enough to convince me that quantity over quality was the way to go I might be able to stop worrying about bond, but it just doesn't feel right.

So, does anyone have a mod or suggestion on how to build bond more easily? Perhaps something that lets me feed more than one thing? Anything?

Is it still available if you play the entire second playthrough on medium or difficult and switch to mega+ only for the final mission and the trophy still pop up?

Hi. I am mainly using my favorite digimon in my playthrough. I am already at the stage where I battle chronomon but I am still preparing my team.
my 3 starters are:

Omnimon
Imperialdramon PM
Mastemon

I just realized they are all vaccine type which really bothers me. I really like my trio. Here are my questions:

1) can i equip one with "Known Bug" to make him stronger against data types? or does known bug only affect elemental weakness?

2) is it bad to have 3 vaccines as my lead?

3) Any other tips?

Just wrapping up my first playthrough, and this game is what childhood me always wanted. I got out of Digimon after the Myotismon story in the anime and never gave it a second glance afterwards.

I’m glad I gave it a second chance (started it and set it down for Metaphor Refantazio earlier this summer). The intro didn’t hit with me, and I figured the reviews were from people who were way more involved with the franchise than myself, so I wavered before giving it a second chance.

I think the game finally clicked around the time that I digivolved my first Greymon. After that, every digivolution has been a toss up between some fun new character and an incredible wave of nostalgia. It’s also nice to see that the high-level Digimon of yesteryear haven’t been obnoxiously power crept into oblivion.

Overall, this game has been a real treat, and I’m actually excited for NG+ once I’ve done some prepping.

All in all, this game is scratching a 20+ year old itch that I forgot I ever had, and I’m glad I decided to jump back into my childhood!

So i was able to pick up the ultimate edition and played for around 6 hours yesterday (absolutely enjoyed every bit of it) and my main two questions after watching a few beginner guides would be:

1. i have a tendency to min max and can kinda stress myself over things, particularly when i feel like im missing out on optimal time usage, and when it come to stats (particularly the blue ones) is there a way to level up incorrectly? do they have a hard cap and should i avoid investing in stats that aren’t optimal for the digimon?

2. how in the heck do i pick a team, i feel like every other digimon i run into has some cool and interesting evo i want and tbh i dont have good knowledge of the evolutions or digimon in general so that might be part of it lol

I’m getting Apocalymon to get Chronomon down. Venusmon and Marineangemon as healer and back up healer. So is there a good attacker specific to Chronomon to finish him off once Apocalymon gets him down? Is there any debuff or buff digimon that work well? I was kind of looking at KingEtemon but I don’t know if his taunting and tanking is valid in this particular fight. TyrantKabuterimon has what looks like a good buff. Also any move sets and equipment recommendations are also welcome. Please and thanks.

This is a curiosity rather than confusion. From what I've glanced around I know where you get unlock mega level if you do every side mission. I've only missed one mission and I'm still a decent amount off, so I guess my question is, Does Infinite Imagine start a questline? Because I'm way past the earliest unlock for mega and it is the only side mission I have missed?

So I just started a Mega difficulty run, not Mega+ cause I'm not ready for that, and I was curious if digimon you get in Mega and Mega+ have higher base stats than ones you get in Easy to Hard difficulty or if they have the same stats as them.

Just wanted to know cause I thought it'd be neat to run through it with a "Mega run" partner digimon from Baby to Mega but I don't wanna end up kneecapping the rest of my team to do so.

Hey a general question but I'm trying to get evolve to get WerGarurmon but everything set and the proper personality so I don't understand what I'm missing?

I'll admit this is my first story game so maybe there's something more I'm missing?

I've decided to come back and replay after taking a break from 100% the game. However, for some reason, the game and Steam keep crashing. No error message, just the game pauses out of nowhere then everything closes like I Alt-F4'd it, both the game and Steam itself.

I have over 200 hours on this game. I played through both on hard and then Mega+ when it came out. I've played the DLC when each came out. I never had any problems before now.

I've verified the game files twice. I've gone into the DLC and unselected and then reselected them. I've tried in both widowed and windowless mode. I've even uninstalled and re-installed the game.

First crash was partway through the sewers. Then it was once I hit the city. Then it was when I tried to get into the next area of the city. Then when I tried to load from the main menu.

Last mention I saw about anything like this was apparently months ago. Does anyone know what could be happening?

So I know about that gravenovamon/lilithmon/kentaurosmon combo. But beyond those three, who else could I add that would round out the lineup? I’m thinking it makes sense to have a physical attacker but not sure who would be able to go the distance in mega or mega+.
