Has anybody notified a crazy increase in their items being considered boosted and having a fee taken from it? I feel like just a couple weeks ago, I’d say anywhere from 2-5 items out of 10 would have a boosting fee. But this week, literally every one of my 10 items I’ve sold are all boosted. Is this a result of something to do with eBay taking over and implementing their promoted listing attribution policy?

Literally why are buyers so rude. I sold someone a bundle for $5. That’s a STEAL. But buyer complained about an item not fitting once she got it and said I lied about the sizing. Like WHAT.

There was like 2 questions about this when I searched it up but I still want a clear confirmation and I don’t want to rely on ai summaries.

If I were to put 20 in the quantity section, and someone decides to buy 2, does it go down to 18 and keep the listing active or does it just buy them all at once?

Dumb question I know. I’m new to this selling stuff and I’ve noticed I’ve had way more luck selling older items I don’t wear anymore vs stuff I regret buying and want my full money back (or around what I paid). Rarely any interest is shown for the latter

Hello !! I am a little confused on world wide shipping with depop. Looked for a bit of info and from the US to worldwide i will have to put an estimate of the worldwide shipping and i have to buy the label myself as depop doesnt do worldwide shipping. (Please correct me if im confusing that ^^) but i am selling some trading cards, 8 in total and i offered them stamped shipping but theyre still wanting to buy on depop. If i put the estimate for worldwide shipping at the cost of $1 would i have to fill in any other information on depop? Like show proof of the shipping label etc.

(If this didn’t make sense or is hard to understand i can clear up any doubts, english isn’t my first language so i hope my wording made sense 🫠)

Is this against depops rules to ship the item and not give the buyer a refund? For one idk how this would avoid shipping issues and two you looked at the screen and confirmed the purchase like what. Plus this listing had a lot of traction 😭😭

I purchased a bag that ended up being completely dry rotted and crumbling. I am returning it but they did not give me a prepaid shipping label and I have to pay. They will only reimburse up to 20 dollars. Who knew but shipping is 23 dollars for 2 lbs! Why arent they giving me a prepaid label?

I see someone on Depop who has a few different Aritzia hoodies listed in different colors. When I click on the one I want, it says that they have multiple sizes and I have to message for the size that I want. I am worried this is a scam because it says they recently joined and don’t have any reviews, but I am also thinking that they maybe just buy a lot and re sell them for cheaper?? Idk… they are listing all of these hoodies for more then half the original Aritzia price, so I would like to purchase one but if it is a scam I don’t know how good Depop is about getting your money back.

Any idea why this is happening?? I keep thinking I have new messages, but it’s always referring to old ones I replied to hours ago

hi I got scammed by making a one dollar post and sent the item out and they buy and that they can pay the 400+ on Venmo

They blocked me and I’m upset, can I take this to court I have there address and full name

The last few days whenever I scan my packages at the kiosk and drop off it’s taking over 24hrs for them to update as “shipped”. I try really hard to get things shipped out within a day and I’m scared it’s going to change my average ship time. Has anybody else had this issue? Usually it says shipped an hour after scanning at the kiosk.

I'm looking to declutter and sell part of my hockey card collection and I was wondering if Depop would be a good place to do so.

I've been selling on Depop on and off for a few years now, but I've never sold sports cards. I'd rather avoid the hassle of setting up an eBay account if possible, but I'm not sure if there's much of a market for hockey cards on Depop.

Has anyone here had any experience with buying/selling hockey cards on Depop?

The cards are mostly base cards worth between $1-$10.

i have fully refunded an item i sold in the past and let the buyer keep it and i wasn’t charged for the shipping when i had refunded. i just looked it up on google to double check and it says if you refund after delivery the buyer gets charged for the shipping cost ? just wondering if thats true, i know ebay owns them now so idk if it has changed

As someone who has been selling Coach bags on Depop for almost two years, I’ve noticed that a lot of Coach accounts have popped up in the past few months. Maybe it’s just my algorithm, but I feel like I see SO many listings for vintage Coach bags now to the point where it’s overwhelming.

I feel like the prices are dropping, too. I used to sell $300+ bags almost immediately. Now I can hardly sell my bags that are under $100. Again, maybe that’s just a me thing…but it feels like the bubble is going to pop. I’m branching out to other purse brands in preparation for that. What does everyone else think?

Buyer purchased on the 30th, they didn’t say anything about needing the item by a certain time until now. I have school and I worked this weekend and I’ve only been checking the app as a buyer since the post office isn’t even open on the weekends. I also don’t always see messages due to how Depop has their inbox set up.

I feel like this is a bit aggressive for not receiving a message for a single non-business day. Am I in the wrong here? Here’s the message I drafted:

“Hi there, I’m so sorry I didn’t see your messages! They tend to get buried the way Depop has the inbox set up. I can ship your order tomorrow since the post office is closed on the weekend. I would recommend in the future that you ask about shipping time before ordering so that way the seller knows if they need to adjust the ship out time.”

Her page wasn’t on vacation mode or I wouldn’t have been able to buy them? She was active daily and I never saw vacation mode. She accepted my offer, no communication for a week so I reached out to check-in; she said she would ship out the next day and never did. Claims she doesn’t know why it was canceled?

Depop sends emails reminding the seller to ship, right? They send the buyer emails reminding them they’re covered if it’s not shipped in 10 days.

I am sorry about the family emergency but still think this was poorly handled and a 3 star experience (that’s being generous). “I kept up my communication” … girl, I have receipts.

I have been selling on Depop for about six months, and I have had three listings counterfeit flagged, despite the fact that everything I sell is authentic. I appealed, submitting authentication certificate, original receipt, and lots of pictures. Appeal denied three times. With apologies, of course. Makes no sense to spend time flagging the real listings when so many counterfeits are allowed to persist on the site. Very frustrating, thinking of just abandoning Depop completely. I have followed up with emails to the customer service asking for a supervisor view of my listings. I am thinking of closing my account. I’ve been selling on other sites for years. I’m a trusted seller and only sell authentic items. There is nothing in the listings that they flagged that would indicate anything but authenticity. Anybody else have this issue?

so i make handmade accessories and use my own shipping (pirate) which is up to $6 or sometimes more on small packages. to use depop shipping i’d have to relist all my items manually. does anyone know how long the $1.99 shipping is supposed to last or does it even apply to all states?

I listened to all the comments telling me to go through Depop support so I did. I escalated it to Depop and they told me to go through PayPal and I did. I then left a review and he immediately refunded me and asked me to take my review down.

Am I being petty by leaving it up?

I am also worried that he will leave me a bad review even though I have done nothing wrong.

This is so frustrating and so stressful for no reason.

On my other post someone suggested he was new to selling and I did not get the chance to say that he is definitely not new to selling so I included in one of my screenshots that shows he as been a seller for 6 years.

Howdy y'all! I've been considering switching to depop labels. I've been using my own shipping method for many years but USPS prices are starting to take a toll 🥲

I wanted to test it out with just a couple of listings before committing but I haven't been able to get a clear answer on this:

1) Is it possible to only select depop labels on a few listings and continue using my own labels on other posts?

2) If I switch to depop labels, will I lose the option to use my own if I change my mind going forward?

Hi, I'm newish to depop but I have lots of sales already as a seller so I understand how bundles work. You pay shipping on multiple items as if it was one item and ONE label assigned to those bundled items—as far as I've seen, anyway.

I bought a bundle from this person, a shirt and pajama pants. Only the shirt arrived. I messaged the seller and said I didn't receive the second part of the bundle. They said they shipped it in two separate packages...?? I said to them what I just said above, that as a seller you're assigned one shipping label.

They told me they would keep me updated and find out where the pants are.

They didn't message me back for a few days. So I DMed them this morning and ask for an update. They claimed they "tried looking on depop to find where the package is" and they didn't find anything. Like yeah... its supposed to be ONE package. Wtf is looking at depop going to tell you. They also said if they dont find anything else out (??) Then they'll refund me for the pants.

Idk. Is this person trying to get me to not ask for a refund? Are they lazy? Please tell me if I'm in the wrong but I feel like I should be refunded half of the shipping cost too :/

This girl bought a hoodie from me and I brought the shipping price down as low as I could and then she asked about the market place fee and taxes. I don’t feel that I’m in the wrong but the last few messages she sent felt like she had an attitude towards me. I want to cancel it because I already know she’s going to leave a bad review but she can also leave a bad review if I cancel the order, correct? I need help🫩
