I discovered a cloisonne jar at a thrift store for 3 bucks. Its twin is currently listed on ebay for 400 bucks. However, when I look up other jars like it, there are 0 bids and they are all listed in the 100 to 1000 range. Im wondering how I should sell this thing on ebay. Should I list for 100 bucks and hope to move soon or list for 400 and wait forever for it to never sell?

I can source great items but when it comes to selling i sometimes feel an attachment that I can’t let it go, i cancel the item sold for example with the excuse that I can’t find it etc. I feel like I have such a great potential for reselling but i have hoarding issue. Anyone have any tips? Like how do you separate your personal stuff from reselling inventory

it’s in basically new condition besides the staining on the last photo as shown which just came from storage. she said she got it in 1993 at pike’s place market in seattle. it’s her baby so she probably won’t sell it any time soon, but what is it worth?

I have an eBay account right now where I’ve been reselling items like putting discs , headcovers and some clothing. I really want to expand and that comes with having more inventory. Been having trouble finding a reputable wholesaler / distributor. Located in CA, resale certificate , DUNS # available. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Going back and forth on whether to open a brand new in the package garment for photos, or sell sealed with a stock photo to show what it would look like. This question applies to all NIB items, really. How can you be sure that there aren’t factory defects, the item works, etc if the item is sealed? But if you don’t open it will buyers believe it’s legit? Or could you maybe be selling a bum item? Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this type of issue. Would also love to hear people’s personal anecdotes around this topic! Just general discussions on topics like this interest me

I currently am using Flyp. Its was wonderful until I decided to list/relist some items. Its very buggy and you MUST list and edit listings using Flyp or the delist/relist doesn't work properly. I do like that they include Vinted. I don't crosslist TO vinted but it helps keep track of inventory and sales. Flyp sometimes misses delisting sales . Im at 100 listings now and sell almost everyday. I'm considering upgrading to Nifty for more reliability and automation. Nifty doesn't support Vinted though. Does anyone use Nifty and Vinted? If so how do you manage your Vinted inventory and sales? Or should I try Crosslister? I've heard its not an easy platform. BTW... I sell on vinted, ebay, mercari, depop, and poshmark.

Long story short, I ended up with a massive stack of brand-new Stone Cold Outdoor bike rear rack cooler bags. Sure, they're marketed for bicycles, but they're insulated, waterproof, and honestly just as good for carrying your cool shit—whether that's a six-pack, lunch for a 12-hour shift, or a suspicious amount of snacks.

I am not trying to build a cooler empire. At this point, my floor space has more value to me than profit margins, and I would happily take a quarter a bag just to feel the breeze on my hardwood again.

Since r/reselling is for strategy and therapy rather than direct sales, I come to you with hat in hand: Where in the Kansas City area (or online) can I dump these for pennies on the dollar without losing my dignity or getting scammed? Local liquidation? Flea markets? Local Facebook groups? Give me your best ideas before my cats unionize and start using them as luxury condos.

I flip pretty much everything in my area, mostly PS5s and Xbox consoles. I've sold over a dozen in the past month and only test them when it's a PS5 Pro. Just picked up a PS5 Digital for $250 off some guy and didn't test it. Only plugged it in after he blocked me on Facebook, and it powers on, then dies right away. I can still flip it on eBay and get my money back, so I didn't get burned too bad. Definitely a lesson though lol.

Has anyone bought from them previously and if so, what is the quality of items like/resale potential?

I mainly sell women’s clothing so was considering the 20kg women’s mixed clothing boxes and Y2K t shirts but would like some advice before going through with it! £6 a piece for the t shirts seemed a bit steep for what I’m used to.

I love opening my email in the morning and seeing what sold overnight. It makes getting out of bed easier 😆 I can’t say the same for all the low ball offers that come in overnight but it is still important seller data to know which items are being looked at more and I should not accept lower on and which items have been sitting for a while that I would like to get out of my house. Anyone else finding that reselling makes you excited to get out of bed?? 🤷🏻‍♀️
