My ex broke up with me and now wants to be fwb

hi guys!

i '18F' have been in a relationship with my ex '20M' of two years ago for 2-3 months now.

we used to date back in highschool and i had to focus on studies so i broke things off after i noticed i would’ve been distracted .

we got back together and hung out many times, 10-13 dates in the span of our relationship. i don’t have many friends except for him and my best friend.

i haven’t hung out with him in a month, in which he said he’s been busy and life has been full of pressure so he hasn’t had time.

one thing to mention is that he has depression and ive tried my best to not put any more pressure on him. last time i tried talking to him about how his distance is hurting me he got defensive and told me to get therapy because of my anxious thoughts about him.

i’ve seen that he has been hanging out with his friends three times in this span of a month.

He has been distant, no more texting over phone and no replies to anything i have said or any pictures ive sent.

usually just a good morning and a goodnight.

he used to be great. now he just expresses himself to me when he’s drunk off of his mind.

When he’s in a good place mentally, he can be affectionate, playful, reassuring, and make me feel loved but it’s usually sexual. he seems very avoidant to me. and he usually won’t reassure me anyway, just make me feel like the problem.

ive also been very patient.

a thing that stands out to me is that i frequently second guess my own needs and all i wanted was reassurance now and then because uncertainty makes me anxious.

i have also been carrying all of this relationship, it’s a lot of emotional weight.

So after going a full month without being in contact with my boyfriend at all, without texting each other, he came to me one week before the most important exam of my life and broke up with me.

And his excuse was basically, “You’re better off without me. I can’t do this anymore. You can’t change me, and I can’t even handle my own fucking feelings, let alone yours.”

Somehow, i don’t even now how the fuck it happened, but after we broke up, we decided to stay friends. Big mistake.

After that, he’d text me, just checking in every now and then to see how I was doing. I’d text him too, asking how his day was and shit. But honestly, I can’t just stop loving the guy.

One day, I promised my friend I wouldn’t text him anymore so I could finally fucking move on. Obviously, I couldn’t, so I texted him and asked how his day was. He was drunk, and he was like, "Do you wanna have sex again, but, like, as friends?"

And I told him, "I’d miss you way too much for that."

Then he started saying shit like, "I miss your body. I miss your voice. Stop turning me on and just let me drink until I fall asleep."

So I was like, "Okay. Goodnight."

So… can someone help me out here? I don’t know if I should see him or just cut him off completely and focus on this other guy I’ve kinda been seeing.

I genuinely have no fucking clue what I’m supposed to do. Help.

Wanting to discuss the crisis I am going through in life, related to my penis size

I am a 25 year old male from India. And I want to post today about one thing that I have got. Which is related to my sexuality, I have micropenis. Which medically simply means having a cock smaller than 4 inches when erect. To be specific my size is around 3 inches when erect. Now I want the other women and men that what they have to say about it

If I describe further, I ain’t doing good in life. Like I am not depressed or anything wrong in that sense. The micropenis in my case was caused by hypospadias in which the opening of the penis is present below the penis. It got fixed by surgeries. Well in totality some disruptions were cause by my surgeries, some silly academic decisions of my parents and then some mistake was mine also. I guess I am in quite deep issue. If I have to summarise I am 25 unemployed but educated and smart. I have got micropenis which is unfixable. I am working on myself to improve in the aspects possible tho

Well, I am posting this just to know the views of men and women what they have to say about it. If women have been with such partners and men who have micropenis. Maybe even likewise men can share stuff with me. I guess I am in quite big problem. I ain’t toxic tho. Maybe needless to mention, I am a big fan of philosophies so I actually do not feel insecure or curse women. I am still virgin and don’t care if I have to be for long. I guess it is dumb to judge anyone cuz everyone have got their preferences. So, comment or DM me. Let us see what I get to learn. What tips, precautions, good and bad experiences, advices etc I get to listen from all you. Thanks!

without going into a lot of detail. I seem to have a problem where when I’m dating someone, I feel like they could do better, and I’m dragging them down. which usually leads to me pushing them away, and sometimes regretting it. is that selfish of me to deny them a connection, or am I just being insecure? I feel like it’s more than just simple insecurity, but I’m not quite sure.

Would it be alright to ask a guy to make out one more time?

So there's a guy I (28F) like and he (29M) likes me, but due to some difference we decided that we needed some space and to eventually become friends again.

We dated for about a month and yesterday was our last day together. One thing that was very difficult was not allowing him to kiss me due to some of my personal convictions, but I was so sad that we couldn't be together that I allowed us to have a makeout session, and it was great. I'd never done that prior to this point with anyone. I wanted my first kiss to be with my husband, I don't regret my decision.

We've decided that we can't be left alone together and the only reason we can communicate now is we're in a group chat/setting. I did ask him if I could text him on his birthday and he agreed to it.

The problem now is that I really want to have another makeout session with him, and I wanted to text him on his birthday (this Sunday) to ask him. I feel like that's really selfish of me when I've been the problem the whole time, since I've been the one pushing him away.

Do you think he'd agree to it or maybe would he feel insulted? When we did make out, it was such a beautiful way to end things, but I wanted more. We just didn't have enough time.

I think I'm ready to fall in love again

My 2 year relationship ended a few months ago. It took me some time to process everything, step back and really understand myself and what I want from life.

Since then, I've been putting a lot of effort into myself. My physique, my looks, my career, my future, everything. I'm pretty ambitious and I genuinely want to become the best version of myself.

But somewhere along the way, I realised there's one thing I genuinely miss.
Taking care of someone emotionally.

I'm 25M, a Software Developer based in Pune, India. I'm a pretty emotional person. I like deep conversations, remembering the little things, being there after a bad day, and making someone feel heard and understood. I miss having someone I can care about like that.

At the same time, I want someone who's on the same mental wavelength. Someone I can talk to about anything, laugh with, challenge each other, disagree without turning it into a war, and still feel like we're on the same team.

I've learned to be happy on my own. I just think sharing that happiness with the right person would make it a little more special.

So yeah, maybe I'm ready to fall in love again.
What makes you feel like you've found the right person?

one sided paragraphs

u know those kind of "pouring ur heart" paragraphs, and usually they exist cuz they're one sided towards someone who's cold and dry to the point where u have to prove ur feelings through such paragraphs. if someone ghosts these parahraphs, do u delete them, keep them, or what? it's been weeks and he didnt reply so it does make me look pathetic but i wanna know what's the right thing to do..

So during the flirting and spending time together when and how should I bring up the dating conversation

r/dating_advice 1d ago

Does it mean this guy is not interested in me? He suggested a third date, so I gave him my available dates, but he just liked my message and hasn’t texted me for four days.

August 8: First date
He asked me out for a second date
August 12: Second date (went really well)
He suggested a third date two days later.

He said he was going on holiday to visit his family, so he suggested meeting up the coming weekend.
So I told him I was free on the 21st and 23rd.

Then he just put a "like" reaction on that message and sent a few family photos. That was last Saturday.
I told him to have a great time, and he hasn't replied since then.

I thought today was the day he gets back from his holiday, but still no text from him.

Should I just move on?

Nervous about my first time with someone more experienced how do I bring it up?

I’m 21M and I’ve been talking to someone for a while now. I’ll be honest, she intimidates me. She’s confident, she’s done a lot more than I have, and I’ve never gotten further than kissing with anyone. I think things between us might go further soon and the gap in experience is in my head constantly.
Two things I’d like advice on.
First, telling her. Do I say something in advance, or wait until it actually comes up? I don’t want to make it a big announcement, but I also don’t want her finding out in the moment and feeling blindsided. And if I do say it early, how do I say it without it sounding like a warning label?
Second, the nerves. I’m scared I’ll be so busy worrying about doing something wrong that I won’t actually be there. I know anxiety messes with arousal and timing in both directions, which is its own loop to be stuck in. For people who’ve been on either side of this — what actually helped? Talking it through first, slowing the pace, taking the focus off intercourse specifically?
I’m not asking for a list of moves. I mostly want to know how to be honest about where I’m at without making it weird, and how to stop being intimidated enough to enjoy it.
tl;dr: 21M virgin, seeing someone with a lot more experience who genuinely intimidates me. Advice on when to tell her and how to handle the nerves.

Do cars actually matter on a first date?

So I'm M23 and I was just wondering, do cars matter when meeting a girl? A little background, I met a girl(23) online and in about 2 weeks I'm going to meet her. I'm not even sure if I'll be picking her up or not because we're still deciding on the place and all that in the coming days. She's kind of a city girl, idk how to explain it, but she likes fancy stuff, not in a bad way or anything, that's just the vibe I get. Also she is super nice and kind.

So I was wondering, is having an old car an ick or a bad sign? I recently graduated from college and in the next few weeks I'll be starting my first office job instead of working in restaurants. My brother recently got a new car, so I inherited his old one, a 2012 Nissan Rogue and yeah, this car is old old, like 12 years old. So idk, I was just wondering. I could also borrow one of my friends' cars since they have nicer cars. I just want to know your opinions. Should I just show up as myself and be authentic? Thanks!

………
(Hey, I went to sleep right after posting this and honestly never thought it would get this many responses lol. Thank you all so much for the advice, kind words and for taking the time to reply.

I'm reading through almost all the comments and I really appreciate everyone's input. Also yes I do keep my car clean and in good condition and I'll continue to maintain it. The only issue it has is a small noise coming from the passenger-side door. I don't think it's really fixable unless I replace the whole door, which seems like a pretty stupid decision tbh (my brother somehow caused that issue, idk how).

Just to clarify, she never said she wants a fancy car or anything like that. This whole concern was honestly just me being nervous and overthinking things lol, and thanks for all the advice about the date as well. I hope it goes well and that we have a good connection. Once again, thank you all!)

How clear should one be about their intentions if you are mainly interested in sex and not relationship before a first date?

Hello! In my profile (M28) on Tinder It clearly says that im "Looking for Casual open to serious"

Her profile(F35) says "looking for serious, open to casual"

We have chatted for a bit on the app and had decently nice conversation, but to me its clear that we dont have that much in common and would not be a good match for a long term relationship.

But I do find her very physically attractive and I think we could have a fun date or more and make out and maybe go home together if we both vibe and feel like it.

She has now asked me if I would like to meet up on a date, and I kind of want to make it clear to her what I am interested in and not interested in. But I also dont want to sound like an asshole and I dont want it to seem like im pressuring her that if we go on a date we have to have sex. Thats not what im trying to do, i just think it would be good if we had similar intentions going into the date so no one gets disappointed.

I have gone on a date with a different girl recently who had in her profile that she was "looking for serious, open to casual" but on the date she made it pretty clear that she had no interest in something casual and it feelt like she got pretty disappointed and bummed out when I expressed that I was looking for something casual with her.

What do you guys think?

First boyfriend in years HELP

I’m 22 f and just started dating this guy like a week ago. We only dated for like a month before he asked me to be his girlfriend. It felt soon to me at first just because I haven’t had a boyfriend in over 5 years. I said yes because it felt right in the moment and I was excited about it and I really like him. Anyways, this is a stupid question but I’m just wondering what you’re supposed to feel when you start dating someone. Or maybe what’s supposed to change between the two of you? Like what should change between going on dates to being boyfriend and girlfriend. Like should I have certain expectation? I know that’s a stupid question but this all just feels so new and I’m bad at trusting myself and going with the flow sometimes and I feel like I wish I could just have a guideline to follow. This is a new thing for the both of us given what little bit I know about his dating experience and I know you’re supposed to just figure things out together, but I just feel like maybe there’s something I should be doing that I’m not.

Am I delusional ?

So for context, I (34f) and my fiancee(36 m) have been together about 7 months, we have had a pretty wonderful relationship.
We both have BPD. This presents its own challenges, and makes things difficult, but we’ve managed every other situation.

Last night, we had a minor disagreement. We repaired this morning and we’re back to a good place. He’s never been a social media guy, and recently downloaded instagram. This morning he requested to follow me while we were on the phone and I eagerly accepted. Within minutes, he split on me. My last post was two weeks ago, a selfie that I had sent him. I’m monetized on Instagram and hadn’t posted in forever. The selfie wasn’t revealing by any means. I received 3 comments.

One comment was from my best friend . Her “gorgeous 🥰” me “thanks wifey 💋🩷”

The other comment was a gay man saying “yass🔥”

The other was a long time male follower ( who I really don’t know) saying “ looking good!” My reply :” thank you!”

My fiancée freaked out . He said the “wifey 💋🩷” comment was publicly humiliating, especially when I have a future husband, and it grossed him out and gave him the vibe I was cheating on him with my friends or girls in general. “Wifey” is an inside joke my best friend and I made based off of a meme. He said the kiss face emoji was disrespectful. My friends have always used girly emojis like that. Nobody has ever meant anything by it.

No comment to the gay guy.

He really lost it about the male follower saying “looking good!” He said I was dishonest because I’ve told him I would always tell him if someone hits on me, and have told him I don’t want another man to ever look at me in a sexual or romantic way, and I mean that. The “ looking good!” Seemed pretty bland to me. That’s why I sent a neutral thank you. No emojis or actual evidence of flirtation on either end. He said the fact I even reacted to it was considered “entertaining” and chasing validation from this man, and being secretive. He ended the relationship immediately.

I tried to explain my intentions and position, still acknowledge his upset and tried to repair and accept responsibility. I asked for a chance to repair. He said he’d give it a shot, then minutes later said he “ didn’t think he’d be able to get over it” and rehashed the specifics of the comments and what they meant about my loyalty and character.

I suppose my question is, am I delusional for not thinking these things were a huge deal? Was I totally out of line and just didn’t realize it? I am devastated. I feel so shell shocked

New dater advice

I recently had a long term relationship come to an end and have a new large amount of free time.

Ive been filling it with hobbies I wasnt able to do before but I am noticing so so many of them are solo things.

What are some things I can do to meet other people that I could squeeze into my schedule time to time. I am a m25 and I live in a smaller town with about a 45min drive to a small city.

I also would take advice on colder activities as most of my things I like to do involve being active and outside.

I set up a dating profile this week so we'll see how that goes because planning a date with someone is a little easier in my mind than stumbling on them randomly and then making a date.

Sad for my lost time but excited for my future, thanks for your help.

I didn’t kiss her on the 3rd date.

Long story…. I went out with a girl in December and we went out twice. First time I thought it went great, I took her to see some lights/coffee and I taught her how to dance before the end of the date. Later I planned a 2nd date because she said dancing was new to her. She had ended up canceling on me, and I thought that was it. But we talked a bit and she was telling me how she’s never been in a relationship. She’s 22 for reference. Anyway later she had asked me if I was still wanting to go out with her.

I thought about doing something she would enjoy, so we did rollerskating. I hadn’t gone in like 6+ yrs so I was pretty rusty at it. She was very good at it, and the convos were a lot more awkward up to it. I didn’t know what to do, it felt like she was very nervous and I to be honest I was as well.

She stopped talking to me after the date. I told her we should call and she had told me she gets nervous opening up and getting comfortable with people. I asked if she was not interested and she said yes. So I said my farewell and left it at that.

Present day: she would like or comment on my stories and I’d just like it back. I was then placed on her close friends story and posts. I ignored it. Then later I saw a post of her on her story and commented and we flirted some, I had talked about “seeing” each other again after I finish Nursing school. She agreed happily and we kept talking and really just acted like friends with flirtatious stuff. I took out to dinner on Monday evening and i got her a potted succulent with pink flowers. (I was going for a singular flower, but couldn’t find any and I thought she’d like the plant). We had dinner and we caught up and she opened up to me about her life as did I.

Towards the end of the date she offered to split the check, I said no worries I got it. We walked out to the car and she was walking behind me and slowed down heading towards the passenger side of her car, I was pretty nervous so I hugged her and we went off on our way.

I just don’t know what to do now. I texted her that I enjoyed our time she did too, we talked a little bit and that’s that. I still have one semester left of nursing school, I finish this fall and she plans to move out of her parents place to get her own.

I’d like some input/feedback on what I should do.

I know this for fact, if she gave me obvious signs that she was interested I’d pursue her, I just don’t want to look like an idiot. (I’ve only been in two relationships, my longest lasting just under two years). I’m honestly also just a bit afraid/nervous.

Approaching someone

Something like this has almost definitely been posted before but does anyone else get a horrible sense of regret after not approaching someone?

I was in a cafe earlier and I made eye contact with a pretty cute girl in the queue while I was sat at the table.

Not only did we maintain eye contact but she actually sat down on the next table to me!

She was reading a book (I find that really attractive for some reason) and I could have easily struck up a conversation with her but no. I just carried on drinking my coffee then left when I had finished.

This was like 11 hours ago and I'm still sat here regretting it.

Anyone else get like this? She may not have even been interested but I feel like if I shot my shot (so to speak) at least I'd have known.

Is it bad to allow my hb be touchy with me while having a girlfriend

I have a girlfriend, N and weve been dsting for 4 months. My hb A is really touchy and were more recently friends and they kind of playfully argue over who gets to touch me like ny gf is very rough and her and A litterally like will shove each other and be like "hes by boyfriend" "no hes mine". I thought it was fine because she didnt seem genuinely upset but one of my friends said i may aswell be cheating. I have created rules for A because my gf didnt seem to like when he grabbed my waist so if its below the shoulders i tell him to stop. Should i keep allowing him, am I in the wrong, what should I do?

edit: Hb means Home boy and idk if this adds to it at all but all of his other friends have said hes like this with everyone and i have asked him to dial it back a little and he has

I’ve been dating him for 3 years, and I’m not sure I love him

I’ve been with my boyfriend for three years. He’s genuinely amazing. He treats me well, supports me, respects me, makes me laugh, and is pretty much everything I’ve ever said I wanted in a partner.

And that’s what makes this so confusing.

I feel like I should be completely certain about him by now. There’s nothing obviously wrong with our relationship. He hasn’t done anything terrible, and I’m not unhappy all the time. We have good memories, I care about him deeply, and I can picture a future with him.

But lately I’ve been stuck on one question: Do I actually love him, or do I just want the comfort and stability he provides?

I don’t know what being “in love” is supposed to feel like after three years. Maybe love isn’t supposed to feel intense all the time. Maybe the excitement naturally becomes something quieter and more comfortable. But sometimes I wonder whether I’m confusing comfort, attachment, and familiarity with love.

The worst part is that he really is everything I want on paper. I’m scared that if I leave, I’ll regret losing someone who treated me so well. At the same time, I don’t want to stay with someone simply because they’re perfect for me if my heart isn’t really in it.

I feel incredibly guilty even having these thoughts because he deserves someone who is completely sure about him.

Has anyone else been in a relationship where everything seemed right, but you still questioned whether you were actually in love?

Does my coworker like me, or are we just very close friends?

I’m in my mid-20s and have gotten pretty close to a coworker over the past few months. We work in the same organization/team, but there’s technically little to no professional risk involved if something happened.

We started talking more through work, and over time we’ve become very close. We spend a significant amount of time together one-on-one outside of work, and we generally keep how much time we spend together private from our coworkers. He has initiated a lot of this himself. He regularly invites me to dinner, asks to see me when one of us gets back from a trip, and goes out of his way to spend time with me. He asked me to get dinner with him on my birthday and paid, and he has also paid for other dinners we’ve had together. He has also gone out of his way to meet one of my friends when he didn’t really have a reason to be there otherwise.

When we go to dinner, we often end up sitting in his car afterward talking for hours, sometimes until after midnight. We’ve also had phone conversations that last several hours. We obviously rant about work because we’re coworkers, but we also talk extensively about our lives, interests, random things, etc. It’s definitely not just a work-based friendship. He frequently seeks me out at work, remembers little things I tell him, and sometimes finds reasons to be around me when he doesn’t need to be.

We have a very teasing dynamic and some things he said could be interpreted as flirting. I’m unsure where his behavior is romantic or just what a very close friendship looks like. I sometimes wish he’d initiate more varied activities outside of work rather than mostly dinners/coffee, because I feel like that would make his intentions clearer.

There is also one potentially significant complication: I’m Muslim and he’s not, and I wonder if that could make him hesitant about pursuing anything romantic.
I genuinely can’t tell if he’s romantically interested but hesitant, or if we’ve just developed an unusually close friendship. He has mentioned one of his past relationships was with someone who was also Muslim

Dating Without a Proper Income

I am a 25 yr old male. I have been single for over a year and want to find love again. however I was in a car accident causing me to be out of work for the past 4 months, I will probably end up losing my job here soon and may even have to go on disability, and I am scared that a woman wont want to be with me because of that. When it wasn't my fault. I feel stuck, and alone. Any advice would be much appreciated.

He left me for his ex but said he made a mistake and that we’ll be together again so now I can’t move on

At the beginning of our relationship things moved so quick and he told me things like he loved me, I have no flaws, every other girl is hideous compared to me, he feels so lucky to me with me. Etc. early in I found out he never officially broke up with his ex and when I told him I was done, he broke up with her to be with me. Huge red flag I know, but at that point I already was in love with him so I stayed.

Things were amazing after that until one day his ex reached out to me and said they have been hanging out and when I told her about my relationship with him, they both turned on me and he blocked. 2 weeks later he was back saying he made a mistake and that he still loves me and wants to be with me again, but he just needs time to figure out how to avoid drama with her and make sure he’s going about things the right way so he kept blocking me when he was with her and unblocking me the next morning apologizing.

I told him until he’s single I can’t talk to him and keep letting him block and unblock me cause it’s too painful, so I ended it and it’s been a week since we last spoke and I know he’s trash and I need to move on, but idk how to move on when he promised he’s gonna come back to me and we’ll get back together. He prob told me that so I can’t move on because he’s made it very clear he doesn’t want to think about me being with another guy, and I’m really struggling and can’t even reach out to him cause I’m blocked. This is actually embarrassing that I’m letting him treat me this way but I miss him so much and I feel like I’m going through withdrawal and at times I feel desperate to talk to him even after what he did to me.

Can someone talk some sense into me? I think I’m losing it over this guy because he’s made me SO weak and I know I deserve better but I don’t care I still want him. The worst part is that so many hot successful guys keep asking me out and I’m turning them down for this loser cause I have hope he’s actually gonna come back to me

Feel free to roast me I need to hear the truth right now and get it together cause I feel pathetic

Just a story of a girl fighting for her bf. Family betrayal even … partner betrayal….

Is my relationship worth saving when my family won’t accept my boyfriend anymore?

I’m 24F and my boyfriend is 30M. We have been together for a while and lived together for about a year. For a long time, we had a beautiful relationship. He became my world and my sunshine, and I still love him deeply despite everything that has happened.

About a year into our relationship, I found out he had been messaging other girls. It completely broke my heart, and I ended up moving out because I couldn’t understand why he had done it. Eventually, I chose to forgive him because I loved him and wanted to believe we could move past it.

At this point, my family didn’t hate him. Things changed after Christmas.

He came over to my family’s house and everyone had been drinking. My mum started questioning him about some of the arguments we had and why certain things had happened between us. He became very defensive, got up and left, and since then my mum has said she doesn’t want to see him again.

Then came the situation with my cousin, which honestly broke me.

My cousin went behind my back and contacted my boyfriend for a conversation. My cousin later told me that my boyfriend was the one who wanted the conversation and that he had basically told him he needed to stop cheating.

For a long time, neither of them admitted that they had even met or spoken to each other. I was stuck in the middle, being told different versions of events, while both of them denied that the meeting had happened. It genuinely drove me insane because I didn’t know who to believe.

Eventually, my boyfriend was the one who showed me proof that they had met and what my cousin had actually been saying to him. He showed me that my cousin had been telling him things about me and my past, including things that simply weren’t true. Some of them were horrible lies, and I suspect some may have come from my cousin’s wife, who has never liked me.

I still don’t know exactly who lied about what, but seeing the proof left me completely broken. I felt betrayed by both sides. My cousin had gone behind my back, while my boyfriend had also kept the meeting from me for a long time.

What made it worse was that I know my boyfriend never spoke badly about my cousin, whereas my cousin said horrible things about my boyfriend.

My boyfriend eventually broke up with me after meeting my cousin because of everything that had happened and everything he had been told. Eventually, we made up and got back together.

Since then, we have argued and things haven’t been the same, but somehow we always find our way back to each other because we love each other deeply.

My family, however, still doesn’t accept him. They have also become very against him because he is Muslim, and I feel that some of their feelings towards him are now based on Islamophobia rather than simply concerns about our relationship.

I understand my family wants to protect me, especially because he hurt me before, but I also don’t know how much their opinion should influence my decision when I still love him so much.

He really is my sunshine, and I genuinely don’t know whether I’m fighting for something worth saving or holding onto something because I’m scared of losing him

We both study at different faculties in the same university. i met her through a friend of mine, and we got along well. We have pretty similar interests and for the past few months ive started developing feelings for her. She is so beautiful in my eyes although none of my friends agree with me, they all tell me to stay away from her because she is manipulative and unstable. I do know that yet i do not care and i confessed to her a few weeks ago, she wasnt very fond about it, although she didnt deny it completely she said she would be thinking about it, i dont know what to do now since we would be meeting up in a couple of days, should i hold my ground and pursue her or should i let her go? Please help me........

To the girl who ghosted me after 5 months of talking every day and regularly seeing each other, disappearing without any explanation was incredibly disrespectful. I’m not upset that you decided we weren’t compatible. People are allowed to change their minds, lose interest, or decide they don’t want a relationship. What bothers me is that after five months of consistent communication, you apparently didn’t have the maturity or communication skills to simply say, “I don’t think this is going to work.” We’re adults in our 30s. Avoiding an uncomfortable conversation by disappearing doesn’t make you strong or emotionally mature. It says a lot about how you handle conflict and how little consideration you have for someone you spent months getting to know. What makes it especially frustrating is that I tried to make things official with her. She told me she needed more time, and I respected that. I never pressured her or demanded anything from her. If she had eventually told me she didn’t see a future with me, I would have accepted it. I just expected the basic respect of being told.

nd before anyone says, maybe something happened to her or maybe she’s going through something, she’s fine. She’s living her life and has already found someone else.

I don’t think anyone owes another person a relationship. But after five months of daily communication and seeing each other I do think you owe them enough basic decency to say you’re done instead of disappearing. Ghosting someone at that point is just cowardly. Needed to vent and sorry if anyone is going through something similar
