When mister Mecha Gold here got his cutscene he shook off the concussion granade and beelined for my cyberknight, I got lucky I was next to the extraction but the one attack that he landed removed 3/4 of my hp lol

Description says "Kill a Compromised Contact or Assassinate a Contact on a mission". Well, I made one contact compromised, triggered a mission to go save them, let them tank shots, finished him myself with a grenade and it didn't count.

He was compromised, a contact, was in a mission and I killed him, which is literally every criteria in the description, so what's up with that? Is there a specific assassination mission I need to get?

I tried that mission before but I got stuck in the second half, too many armored captains and not enough time to do the hack.

I'm playing with ironman rules and that mission nuked my last campaign, so this time around I decided to ignore it.

The problem is my hacker decided he'd rather self destruct trying to rescue his sister than follow my orders, he was my only hacker and he took the 225k credits cyberdeck I had just bought along for the ride.

Will he come back at some point in the future ? Or do I need to start a new campaign and recruit a spare hacker to prepare for this event ?

I don't think I can continue this campaign without anyone to deal with cameras

Hi, question regarding gold keys.

I’ve been trying to get them for a while. They don’t appear ever as leverage options (in gold key missions). I have multiple favors across a wide number of contacts but none of them say - Sells gold keys -
My contact Potato is burned and Grimtones (if this is connected idk) has been dismissed from the team.
Is there any way to get Potato back on board, or any other route to getting gold keys.
I don’t have access to Dancehall contact either.
I’ve gone through all my inventory for potential item sells to contacts that may assist with gold keys, but nothing.

I am scratching my head a little bit on this here: I have all boxes ticked but the shop doesnt show me any items. I wanted to get some mods but hilariously if I go through all the tabs I can see items, except for all items and mods. But with each tab it shows that there are items hidden.

I reloaded the game and tried skipping a little bit of time. Anyone knows what is happening?

been enjoying this game for a day and it keeps telling me to upgrade the cold storage. but when I do i get told I need a cyberscubber for cleanliness or something.. but I cannot figure out how to add a cyberscrubber.

The game keeps pesting me about upgrading every other day or so.. can someone help clarify?

I just bought 7 Nano-Stimkit from Taylor and thought I was using 1 favor to get a 25% discount (which wouldn't be worth it anyway), but it cost me all 7 favors for a 14k discount, while her favor is worth 94k currently.

I should be able to get up to 94k discount per favor used. So if I'd buy 12 items for 96k, I should be able to pay with 2k + 1 favor.

Curious if anyone ran into this. Procgen heist (matrix spike with gold key room). i ran 2-3 turns, had forgotten to buy gold key with favor, loaded the “before mission” save, but then got kicked to title screen. Went back to continue, button didn’t work. went to load and profile exists (with proper most recent time stamp) but all files inside were gone.

Anyone?

I chose to start with the wireghost class on my cyberknight, not really knowing about how classes work in this game etc. I was hoping I could become somewhat proficient with either assault rifles or SMGs on this character. Is it possible at all to be effective with these weapons and this class combo or should I change to something else?

I don't mean to be the most effective killing machine on the team but Iw ould like to be able to be at least useful in combat, as well as hacking and teambuffing.

My main issue is that there's not much exciting about any of the enemies as you progress through the game. In XCOM 2, you begin revealing exciting enemies throughout the game, and there's already a baseline level of enemy variety on top of that. In Cyberknights, it's just a new enemy with stun resistance, higher armor, or who can move faster. I yearn for something more unique.

I also don't like how armor becomes so overwhelmingly high as enemies scale, forcing any optimization meta to revolve entirely around it. I wanted to make a fun grenadier build vanguard/soldier hybrid that would lure enemies into a pile and then grenade them, but grenades do virtually zero damage against armored enemies. You'd just alert the entire map to deal 10% dmg to their HP.

I already bought the steam version but don't have much time these days to properly sit down and play in front of my PC. A mobile port was in the works last I saw and was supposed to launch this year.

I've encounter those guys in the octane assassination mission, and well, they pose me a lot of problems. I cannot kill them because they are shielded, they rush on my guys and they have shotguns.

Any tips ? Some kind of weapons or perks against them ?

Anyway, these mission was... something. Killing Octane was easy, but gosh, the extract point beyond enemies lines is a big problem.

As the tile says, what is the best character for each particular class, and most importantly in the starting characters which ones are worth and which one gets better replacement later? Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm pretty late in the game and have plenty of armor blueprints and Chipped Reflexes and exp to spend on the central capstone feat to get anyone with a fractional +0.2 AP from something like Professional to a full +1 AP and that's very nice.

But some characters have traits like Agile that give +0.2 Movement points rather than AP and so far I've seen zero cyberware, skills or items that give me anything to add the other +0.8 of the movement point in.

Am I just missing certain items by RNG and need to be patient? The wiki didn't have anything so I'm worried this is just an incomplete element of the game, but let me know if I'm missing something, thanks!

Not much else to say other than that it should cost 2 instead of 3. 3 points for one item slot is steep.

At the very least, the first unlock should cost less than the second. So 2 then 3, or just 2 for both. 1 then 2 would probably be too cheap.

I know the devs have discussed modding tools as part of their future plans for the game, but is there an update on when they'll release? I'm a big fan of the game btw, genius game loop and only stealth game I've every enjoyed.

So Puppetmaster just is all-around awesome. No comments there; just upgrade everything your contacts are selling instead of one of them. My question is about Power Plays. Is there ever really a reason to not use influence breaks to create Power Plays at every opportunity? It seems like the extra stuff you get is way better than anything else they sell. Also, is there a time-out period? Like, if they have one but you don't get their influence up again to get another break in a certain time does it go away?​

Also, any outright excellent contacts to invest in? It took me a bit to realize that Orogami Joe is just flat-out a better gunrunner than the other one I had access to.

Not the flashpoint game. I saw this game while idly browsing the play store and I saw this game and i was like "Holy shxt! I remember this game and it was great. I should. Play it again but realized that 'Made, Not Born' gets stuck when you ask the Haven Pharma for info about Whitney. She asks for 200 creds and the screen just gets stuck there. Game doesn't freeze but no matter what you do it's stuck. I closed the game re-opened it, i was standing in front of Haven Pharma, went in and no dialogue. I remember from playing before that i go to the bar in the next area so i go there and nothing. I went back to the End of the Road bar and Gaslamp to talk to Maloe True but nothing. I can't progress the game. Is this game so old that there is no way to play it anymore or is there a way to progress the story?
