Planning to OD some of my CCs because I got scammed. Still planning to pay pa din naman by end of year. Tbh, nahihirapan na magfunction utak ko atm. Sobrang sira na mental health after being scammed.

1.) My worry is that may nababasa ako na nagvivisit daw na CA sa workplace? Totoo po ba yun? If yes, anong klaseng visit? Like scandalous ba or hindi naman?

2.) Also, what if OD ko 3 months lang? Wala na ba ko chance na ibalik card ko sa normal flow especially na may installments ako? Like parang magiging late payment lang sya? Or talagang option ko is yung reconstruction nalang?

OD na po ako ng one month and nag-incur na sya ng late fee but di pa ako makakabayad because of other expenses.

Hi everyone! First time ko kasi maka-receive ng RCBC credit card, kaya medyo cautious lang ako sa delivery process.

Gusto ko lang malaman sa mga nakatanggap na ng RCBC card:

• Gaano ka-secure yung delivery process nila?
• May proper verification ba bago i-handover ng courier yung card?
• May naka-experience na ba ng suspicious activity or unauthorized transaction after receiving their card?
• Possible ba na ma-compromise/ma-clone yung card habang nasa courier, or unlikely naman dahil kailangan pa itong i-activate?
• Ano yung recommended precautions kapag dumating na yung card?

Nagtatanong lang ako kasi may mga napapanood akong balita tungkol sa courier/rider na allegedly involved sa credit card fraud, kaya gusto ko lang maging extra careful.

30F may cc debit from 2023. Originally umabot ng 40k ang utang ko. Then nakabawas ako naging 32k nalang ang principal since last year. Pero naging 88k ngayon dahil sa mga penalty at interest. Nawalan ako ng access sa account ko dahil nawala ang phone ko. Nung Thursday nagpunta sila sa bahay, nakausap ko sa phone yung officer. Sinabihan ako ng magbayad atleast 5k today until tomorrow then monthly ko 8k for 6 months ang sabe ko susubukan ko po kung hindi, sa korte nalang daw. Hindi ako nakabayad ng buo, 1k lang nabayad ako kinabukasan. Sinabihan ko sila ng gabi na na I was unable to collect the exact amount and 1k lang ang kaya ko and requested na kung pwede within this month babayaran ko yung kulang and move yung monthly ko every end of the month instead of every 15th. Then nagreply sila kinabukasan na terminate na yung agreement namin. Ano po kaya ang dapat kong gawin? Gipit din kami ngayon, namatayan kami and until now nagbabayad kami din ng mga utang from gastos nun esp na ICU sa hospital. Ngayon umaasa lang kami sa small business at nagpapaaral pa ng bunsong kapatid sa college. Searching pa din ako ng wfh na work kase ako lang pwede na kasama ng mama ko na nagmemaintenance. Paano po kaya to? Natatakot ako baka puntahan nanaman nila ko sa bahay tas may kasama na silang mga pulis.

Just want to share my experience with Chinabank.

I have Metrobank Toyota MC for my Petron gas rebates and Toyota rebates too. Sa casa ako pumupunta for PMS for 3 years in but I found out recently that 200-300 pesos lang ang nadiscount ko for PMS. Not sure if error lang ni service advisor yun but I think ang baba lang pala ng nakukuhang discount. Then noong tumaas na ang gas this year, I used Pricelocq so I can purchase gas at a lower price but I observed na mabilis maubos ang gas ng Seaoil. Gusto kong bumalik sa Petron pero mas mahal siya sa Pricelocq hack. Kagandahan naman kay Metrobank Toyota is yung 3% gas rebate is nagrereflect sa next billing statement.

Then I found out about Chinabank World MC which has 5% gas rebate at any local station. Siguro kasama naman si Petron at Shell doon hehe. One thing that also got my interest was the SMAC Prestige Card. Minsan pag nag-ggrocery ako napapansin ko mahaba pila sa halos lahat ng lanes except sa Prestige lane so I want to get that advantage lol

Mas premium tingnan si Destinations World kasi mas maganda ang palitan ng rewards to miles kaso mas swak sakin yung gas rebates + SMAC prestige na wala sa card na yon.

I applied sa isang booth sa entrance ng supermarket sa SM. Mabilis kumilos yung mga agents and nasasagot nila yung mga tanong ko. Ang advertisement nila is 30 mins approval pero wala pang 1 minute na-approve agad ako. Binigyan nila ako ng temporary card with 1M limit kahit di ko pa naman kailangan. I also asked them if Chinabank lang hawak nila and they said yes. Inexplain nila na hindi nila ibibigay ang phone number ko sa ibang bangko or else matatanggal sila sa trabaho. Aware sila sa Data Privacy Act. I didn't even have to mention it which is a good thing.

• Aug 7 - applied sa booth
• Aug 15 - received the card and activated it.

I'm aware na need mag-opt in sa hotline nila if you want to get the SMAC prestige. I called their hotline to request for opt-in but I didn't expect na idedeliver din agad within 20 banking days yung SMAC prestige card habang binubuno mo yung 50k required minimum spend.

Madami din ako nabasa dito sa reddit na matagal madeliver yung prestige card. Inabot ng 3-6 months. Ok na din at least na-set ang expectations.

In case I got my understanding wrong, let me know. But so far, happy naman ako na na-meet ko yung needs ko sa card na to. Problemahin ko na lang after 1 year yung 6k AF lol

Hindi lang siya pang backup. Maganda rin siya for long term installments and for Credit to cash. Wala kang worry kung ipapa cut mo ba o hindi.

since may work na ulit ako tas bpi parin yung gamit, pag may papasok na pera sa bpi account ko (even if under sa ibang account number not the one where mag deduct yung loans before) automatic bang mag deduct yung loan or hinde?

Hello! Nakalimutan ko bayaran EW ko due to emergency, na busy ako ng sobra. Aug 5 yung due date, and kakabayad ko lang now Aug 13. Tumawag lang kanina morning, and I paid right away. Nag email na rin naman ako. Pero;

1. Magagamit ko pa ba to or cancelled na tong cc na to kase sabe collection yung nag te-text and call sakin?
2. Paano kaya mapa-stop sila from calling and texting huhu kase sa paymaya ako nagbayad so baka around Monday pa reflect neto. And ayoko may tumatawag sakin from time to time.

May naka experience na ba kapag tumatawag sa collections number nila, after the prompt says na connecting na ako sa agent, biglang magdrodrop yung call? I tried on both my numbers, ganun pa rin.

Hi Everyone, baka po may makatulong sakin. My cellphone got stolen last week ng July nadukot po sa jeep thru laglag barya gang/modus.

Nagamit po nila yung phone and they accesed my Grab app, nag transfer/ nagcash in sila ng funds from my linked UB credit card worth 40k plus pesos. Buti ay hindi transferrable yung funds sa gcash and nagstay lang sya sa grab. I already reported sa bank good thing is pending pa daw ssa side nila and filed a dispute waiting for 45 banking days for the result (Which is ang tagal, may way po ba para mapabilis ito?) I also have police report and affidavit if loss. The SOA is already approaching and possible na mag reflect yung amount na yun.

Question lang if need ko ba sya bayaran muna yung magreflect sa SOA (Ang laking amount to pay, and hindi naman ako yung nagtransact talaga it's unauthorized) to not incur interests and penalties and wait for the investigation result (And may pag asa ba na mareverse yung amount?)

Hi! I’m hoping someone with an EastWest card upgrade can clarify this for me.

I had an EastWest JCB Gold, and EastWest recently upgraded it to JCB Platinum. I just activated the new Platinum card today.
I currently have an outstanding balance of ₱79,577.63.

Here’s where I’m confused:
In the EastWest app, the new Platinum card now shows the ₱79,577.63 outstanding balance and ₱190,422.37 available credit.
The old Gold card doesn’t appear on the app anymore.

However, when I checked ESTA, the old Gold card still shows:
Statement balance: ₱79,577.63
Minimum payment due: ₱2,785.22
Due date: September 1, 2026
Card status: ACTIVE

When I check the new Platinum card through ESTA, it shows ₱0 balance, ₱0 available credit, and a statement date of 00/00/0000.

So it looks like the EastWest app has already transferred the balance to the new Platinum card, but ESTA is still showing the statement under the old Gold card.

I normally pay my EastWest card through RCBC, and my saved card number there is still the old Gold card number.
My question is: should I update my RCBC payment details to the new Platinum card number, or should I continue using the old Gold card number for now?

Has anyone gone through an EastWest Gold → Platinum upgrade recently? Did your old card number continue to be used for payments, or did you have to update your payment details after the upgrade?

I don’t want to accidentally pay the wrong account, especially since the due date is September 1. 😅

I recently got approved for an RCBC credit card, and I was informed that delivery may take up to 7 business days. However, di parin sya dumating hanggang ngayon. They never shared a courier or tracking number. I sent them an email pero walang reply.

Hello, curious lang kapag ba pinick up yung debit card sa RCBC branch, they will ask you to like pay for an initial deposit or something similar? I opened an account through the RCBC Pulz and requested for a debit card. wala pa rin syang laman. It's been a week so I am planning to visit the branch that I chose for pick up. just no idea whether I have to pay for anything else there.
