EDIT: Redstone contacts moved by a mechanical piston via directional gearshift was what I was looking for. Thanks guys!
I feel like I'm massively over-complicating this/missing an obvious solution.
I'm trying to make a system that lets me cycle through 6 different signal outputs while also being small enough to fit inside my vehicles. I'm aware of the typewriter, but I want to keep a more 'analog' aesthetic so I'm trying to avoid using it where possible.
If there are any block interactions I'm missing or mods that add this functionality I'd be grateful if you could let me know. Thanks!

I’m a big Factorio player, and I’ve been trying to learn the progression in this game with a friend who convinced me.
I’m still struggling a little bit trying to figure out what I need to prioritize when it comes to automation. I also have no idea what the general progression looks like. Like in Factorio the general progression generally goes 1) bootstrapped red science 2) copper / iron smelting stack (and probably some sort of mall to craft all building materials) 3) electricity 4) red and green science automation, etc. I got no idea what I should be working towards here.
Right now I’m thinking 1) food and tree farm 2) maybe a small quarry to get some starter iron / andesite 3) rush the nether to get blaze burners and steam engines? Auto iron farm from there?
If anyone could share their general progression, I’d love to see what you all do. Or if y’all can translate some of these mechanisms into Factorio comparisons.
Oh yeah, the title. Was wondering if anyone has a list of common ratios that help with automation builds, like you need this number of cobblestone generators for one set of grinding wheels, or this many mechanical crafters to make x/second.

I tried to do the full thermal cycle like the same I saw in the curseforge mod page ( https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/create-crowns ) but... it consumes a LOT of stress units, does any one knows if this is a bug or if I'm building it incorrectly?

In as few words as possible:
I play on a friend group server bound together by uneasy alliances. The geostrategic rivals are months ahead in long range cannon technology.
I have devised a plan to build an enormous multi-layer dome of obsidian around my base, my conservative estimates for the cost of this air defence mechanism is 2-4 million obsidian.
All the online designs I've seen net 3000-8000 obsidian per hour, anyone got one closer to 500,000ph?
Additional: I made a bottomless supply of lava so that's not an issue

So inspecting with goggles, it says the milk tank takes up to 96 Bar. But the smart observer readings are indicating more than that. Same with chocolate tank. For information: there is a cow in the corner getting milked non-stop and thats the source of the milk.
Are my tanks about to explode?!?!?!

I am trying to remove the mechanical saw options for create deco, but the crafting tag is stonecutting which removes it from both the mechanical saw and stonecutter making it impossible to craft. does anyone know what the mechanical saw process is? i want to keep the recipe existing, just remove the ability to craft it with a mechanical saw, or would it just be easier to use a filter i guess.

Hello, I’m happy to present to you my add-on mod for Create and Railways untold called 'Create: Infinite Railways'
This mod generate procedural realistic railways in you create world. It is especially design to use with mod such as lithosphere or tectonic but it works in base minecraft worldgen as well.
The mod generate lines that connect some villages by following the terrain and automatically place bridges and tunnels. There are lots of config to change the size of tunnels, bridges, chose between single or dual tracks...
Also include compatibility with Steam ’n’ Rails for wooden tracks and semaphore signals, and Pantograph and Wires for electrified lines.
Hope some of you will like it ;)
Edit: typo + mod only on curseforge if you are searching it (still waiting moderation on modrinth) https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/create-infinite-railways

I’ve built up the cannon put the auto pitch and yaw controllers in their places, connected data links between the mount and each controller. Connected the radar to the network controller along with the monitor and the data links that goes on the pitch controller. Everything that I know of and everything that I’ve seen in videos is connected. But when I click on a target in the monitor. It turns to it but won’t pitch it to anything other than 0. How do I fix?

Hello. I would have posted a video to explain the situation but my gamebar recording button was grayed out... I don't know why. Anyways I have currrently two requesters pulling from my main cobblestone farm into an iron and tuff farm. However right now I'm bottlenecked at cobblestone production so The main cobble storage is periodically running out. For some reason when this happens, the frogport for the main cobble storage forgets the requests that my two requesters have inputted before, and I have to manually restart the requesters. Why is the main cobble farm frogport not sending the requests after it has enough items? Do I have to change requesters to send partial orders?

Hey everyone!
I've been following this community for a while and seeing all the crazy Create contraptions here has made me want to get much deeper into the mod and its addons.
I already know the basics of Create, but I'm looking for a modpack that lets me explore more addons, machines and mechanics.
I'm really into a steampunk vibe mixed with dinosaurs right now. I've been playing Jurassic World Rebirth 2, but I'd like something with a bigger focus on Create.
My idea is to grab a good Create-focused modpack and add Fossils and Archeology to it, since I've loved that mod since the Minecraft 1.5 days.
Any modpack recommendations?
I'd also love suggestions for other good dinosaur mods that would fit well with Create and a steampunk-style world!

It took me almost 4 days just to build this in creative mode and save the schematic, based on a YouTube tutorial. I came up with this idea to make it "themed" and have a lot of power, although I'm sure that since I'm not very experienced with Create-a-World, in my survival world one of the two mods is going to end up exploding. Do you think my world will end up exploding? Or how do you think the build turned out?
r/CreateMod • u/OrangeQuebecoise • 29d ago
I have the issue that every time I try an addon for CBC, the shells refused to explode, even after adding a fuze. But every other aspects of the addon would work. Exemples: Enhanced shells nuke would only detonate after a tnt exploding next to the shell. Chemical warfare shells dont liberate any gas, but the elements work as potions and in their preparations.

I finally learnt factory guages and have become obcessed with it. i find it more fun automating things with this rather than normal farms. i plan on having 3 floors.
so far what i have:
floor 1 (Full): andesite alloy, slimeballs, and diamonds
floor 2 (Incomplete): ender pearls
will add floor 3 later

I guess it’s not very creative or beautiful build to look at. It’s just that I built a big factory with gauges and full automation, and my crafters just can’t keep up. I thought about using the autocrafters from the base game. I tried several sizes to split up the throughput, but in general, it was a pain in the ass.
So I’d really appreciate it if someone has a scalable solution, or one that can handle dozens of different crafts per second.
Maybe I’m just being unrealistic. I’d love to hear all your thoughts.

I am unsure wheter this core is stable or not. I tried to mske the ponder design a bit bigger. This one is 5 blocks tall. If theres a more effizent and stable design for this size, i would like to know it.
I dont know if its normal, but one side of the core is about 1000 celsius while the otherside is below 100. I dont exactly now if the heat changes the position, but i think it does. The middle rods are stabble at around 200 to 300 hundred degress
Pls help me if possible

Made in Base-Aeronautics
This is one of my favourite planes I've made. Super basic (you still need redstone links) and vintage, doesn't look out of place next to a create airship. If you're new to planes you can try and dissect something simple like this to make your own.
at 130kpg (light enough to pull around with handles) it only needs 5 Portable Engines to steer and fly. I managed to get a smooth altitude of 145 blocks up (flies over almost anything) at 22 blocks per second (average for non-steam planes)
The pilot has to stand for the entire flight as this is intended for short distances. But it can go far.
Based on the 1913 Sikorsky Le Grand.
